This one don come again with baseless stats and false statements. Where's the survey report you did that determined that Lagos youths spend 60% of their monthly income on non-essential things in the first two weeks of the month? Did you carry out same survey in other states, then compared it to Lagos, for you to declare for only 'Lagos' youths? Now back to mathematics, what's the average income for Lagos youths per month? Let's assume 50k. In this same Lagos, how much do you think salary earners spend on food, rent, & transport monthly? Out of 50k, what do you think is left after food and transport money is deducted? And you know that salary earners make the bulk of the people who take loans? So most of them have to repay those loans at month end when they get paid - and retake another one again. It's a vicious circle. I know, because I've lived and experienced it. The youths that spend on gadgets and night life aren't salary earners. You and I know what those flashy fun-loving youths do to afford their lifestyles. You'll see them plenty on Tiktok; if they're not social media personalities/streamers/dancers/musicians, they're fraudsters, and hookers. So please, I've read your past 3 blog posts, it's riddled with too much false statements and fake stats. Stop warping your fiction as if it's reality. If you want to know the true reality of how things are, get on the streets and interview people or run a survey on social media. That's how to create a genuine report. Stop your fake narrations! |
This eyes of Lagos go just come here dey post ChatGPT-polished fan fiction...as if we don't know the true story. And in which part of the world are there no babymamas and sugar daddies? Abeg, write on novel stuff, and profer solutions while at it! Stop telling us what we already know with AI English! Even quoting stats? 40% of who? Where's your survey study? Abeg get out! |
Nonsense. I'm sick of this town and their Eluku/Oro that's brought nothing but movement restrictions to residents. Other towns are doing festivals that bring investments, tourists, and so much more. But here it's archaic practice that nobody I know benefits from. Continue oh! |
Naija politicians, crooks! Dude spent his first term acting like the best thing invented since Alice bread. Second term, with just a few years left, he's approving bogus spendings - which we all know it's a plot to gather enough funds for his next political adventure. Whether it's the Senate or Presidency, he sure knows ONLY money can move things. He learned well from his friend-boss, the Wicked one running Abuja & dashing lands left & right to his sons. First, 60 billion naira plus to renovate Govt house (that he & his Deputy) never slept in for the past 6 years. Now 7 billion naira for surveillance aircraft. Well done, abura Jagaban! God knows best, all of you will answer to your mismanagement of Nigerians funds in this lifetime! |

vanitybutiwanti:So how will myself and family fair well in a dead country? You people talk as if nothing affects one...even the rich cry in this hellhole! |
Craazy times! People who should lead the struggle for a better Nigeria are joining ranks with those destroying the country, all because of the lust for power and more money! |
Nigerians in authority or some form of power baffle me... Most University degrees in Nigeria are for 4 years plus of study, with undergrads having to go through rigorous manual test & exams from 100 to 400 level...mostly without the use of any tech device. So how does AI help in the case of instant assessments that involves just a paper and biro? I know for a fact that many mathematical courses even violates the use of scientific calculators. So how do you credit the rise in First Class Graduates to AI when it could only be used for maybe regular assignments and final year research projects that's mostly just 6 units? Please, free Naija students! |
D3rd:Hahaha I laugh and tore my boxer. |
Don't fold! |
It's always "we will...we will..." - and nothing ever gets done in the long run. When will APC start saying "we have started...we have just concluded..." ![]() When? They do nothing all year and wonder why the people don't even trust politicians again. You people should continue with your inefficiency, until you bring this country to her knees finally. |
Naija, which way? |
What's it with this gun-wielding police force always using force to disperse groups in public? Do Shiites not have the rights to assemble and carryout their lawful processions again? Other religious sects like white garment churches (Cele, Cherubim, etc) observe processions too and nobody harasses them. Let the Shiites be, stop provoking them to violence. The Nigerian state has already dealt with this group unnecessarily and unlawfully. Enough is enough, we are all Nigerians. No Nigerian is more Nigerian than any Nigerian! |
EFCC's core strength is raiding and prosecuting petty yahoo boys... When it comes to the real fraudsters, corrupt government officials and politicians, EFCC never have concrete evidence to nail them in court. All EFCC does well in this area is media trial, before or after the court rules. Shame! |
Illegality and unprofessionalism is their usual mode of operation... And they begin to wonder why civilians are hostile. Condolences to the families of the slain soldiers, may they find peace. When soldiers lined up, shot, and maimed common Nigerian protesters at the Lekki tollgate in the 2020 EndSARs protest... everyone looked away. Till date, nobody has taken the fall for that massacre. So instead of raiding and destroying a whole community over the actions of a few murderous people, they should go after the culprits. This is 2024, and there are rules and laws guiding the engagement of the army. They should follow it. |
The baskard of a mother...couldn't even cloth the baby properly... Imagine a naked baby in a bushy park. Rats. Snakes. Lizards. Dogs. Anything could have gone wrong. Lord!!! Please save Nigeria! |
Kizzygentle:E no easy! Congratulations to her! |
So in essence, Ogun generates 3-5X revenue more than Osun... But the higher Ogun's IGR isn't reflecting on the state residents welfare... And that's down to many years of corrupt administration and bad governance. Thanks to the multiple factories in Ogun - if not, that state would be competing with states like Kebbi and Zamfara for high poverty level. |
Why's most people thinking left on this thread? Why can't the school ask for parents genotype, blood group, etc? Isn't it for medical emergency? How did a request for genotype turn to infidelity/paternity shouts? You guys are sick on here! |
Ewooo... We wey never buy land, talk more building a house... Wetin we go use build house 🏠 like this? You sure say no be mud house and bamboo thatched roof? Cheeeeeeiiiiu! "Buhari Buhari Buhari" in Tinubu's voice! |
Their 30k/month keyboard warriors will soon flood this thread and turn the discussion upside down to whitewash their Abuja paymasters... Because of this current hardship, I've had to refrain from commenting on National issues. I've even started adding Tinubu in my daily prayers, silently hoping he succeeds by doing the right thing - so Nigerians can find succour and find things easy again. But with the kind of news we wake up to about this fraudulent Emilokan's administration, its clear that they're not interested in doing the right thing. Corruption, padded budget, nepotism, barbarism, empty promises, trial and error policies and decisions... you just know he appointed dunderheads who are only interested in their pockets, not nation building. Just look at the Senate, look at the Judiciary, the armed forces, corruption allegations against customs bosses, actions and inactions of the Police, nothing's working right. Look at inflation and other economic indices, the propaganda and lies, what are these people doing in Abuja? How can anyone be worse than Buhari? Didn't 8 years of Buhari's failure teach Nigerians anything? God save our soul! |
transient123:Assumed my tribe, went ahead to drop a bigoted comment, accused me of bigotry in the same comment. In whatever tribe you come from...and in that your family, is hardship not dealing with you and the rest too? Which of these appointments has made your life better directly or indirectly? What joy are you deriving in a clueless administrator nominating a candidate and withdrawing same candidate within 24 hours? Did they borrow you people's brain in APC and replaced it with stone? Aren't you capable of thinking for yourself? Good luck to you, hungry dumbo. |
transient123:Where in the post did it say she accepted? Or are you blind that you didn't see "nominated"? The country is in turmoil, you people are consoling yourselves with news like this that has no impact whatsoever on your lives. Lol. Who's really wailing? The person who's qualified enough to be nominated for CBN board or you a nonentity on Nairaland who's probably hungry? Lol |
NyamiriSlayer:Why was your mother not nominated for the same role? Oh wait, she's an illiterate! Sorry, keep slaying people on Nairaland while the people you support share trillions among themselves and their family & friends in Abuja! Chief slayer, dumbo. |
All of these answers in the thread are only personal opinions... Until you actually test it in the market. So for a quick test, run like $5/day Facebook Ads testing the two Ads for 1 week. Whichever get more clicks/enquiries wins. Simple!. |
E drop for una papa house... And those of you corn minions attacking people on this thread, e ma se oriburuku ni! What relief? That's how you people wanted Nigerians to celebrate that Naira appreciated to 1,400 against the dollar. Whereas, before Tinubu came with his policies, officially it was 485...and 700 Naira plus in the parallel/black market to the dollar. Today it is 1630 Naira against the dollar, are you people still celebrating relief? Except Tinubu makes Nigeria and Nigerians lives better than Buhari's era, there would be no good news to celebrate! Emilokan, 10 months after - you deluded greedy political internet touts have nothing to celebrate than to attack people on Nairaland. Sometimes I wonder if your family members and friends aren't suffering with other Nigerians...because where do you people find the motivation to defend a failing government? For how much? They're sharing trillions in Abuja, you're getting paid 30k/month to defend their thievery. Shame! |
emkz:"the worst fate that can befall a country is leaving it in the hands of ignorant and deluded folks who don't read before jumping to attack..." SMH... I understand no human is infallible, so Peter Obi shouldn't be exempted from sensible criticisms over attacks on the government. But why do you people make myopic and hypocritical statements like this? What do you mean the worst fate that can... ![]() Peter Obi is the worst fate, not the incompetent Tinubu and dishonest people like you who turn everything upside down to attack Peter Obi and refuse to face the actual issue ![]() In this budget padding case, it has been established that the Senate added 1 trillion naira plus to the budget submitted by Tinubu...so whether 3, 2, or 1... why's the Senate adding 1T to a budget that we think it's bloated already with unreasonable stuff? When you people are done destroying Nigeria, we will all find another country to run to... But before then, enjoy your 30k monthly salary from Tinubu and keep abusing Peter Obi that you or anybody in your family will NEVER be! |
Amin Ya'Allahu 🙏 |
Love800:NO! Why you go buy prepaid meter for house u no own? Lol |
Chevrolet076:Only a landlord can buy one for his house...and you just apply and pay online. Do your own research. |
