There was a 40-1 offer of Bendtner scoring a hat trick against Porto, I bet whoever made those calculations would have been fired now after the winnings the betting house would have had to shell out. How can you put 40-1 on someone who had 3 goals in 3 matches and who had a billion chances in a previous match
COYG!!
Errrr,I don't understand those things grin grin grin

Still on Bendtner, the main advantage of his goals in he UCL is that whatever dampness his morale might have felt after his multiple howlers in the Burnley game was totally wiped off Tuesday night, credit to pinky,he really handled the situation well, played as if nothing happened, was even chewing gum like that Arrow that manages the scummies,I sense that Bendtner still has some pleasant surprises for us

B52 might be our saviour this season if he can move two notches up in the next few days.
That's gotta be a very stong IF,we can no longer afford the kind of profligacy he exhibited in front of goal against Burnley, not at this stage of the battle
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (In Arsenal We Trust) by rasputinn(m): 7:45am On Mar 12, 2010
The Hull and Birmingham games are very key to our EPL title quest,we need the six points first to further boost our morale and put those scumtwats and shekpe chavs under real pressure so they'll capitulate and drop even more points than I've calculated they will

But first things first,Hull comes first on Saturday,I'd like to see the line up we used against Porto last Tuesday,Diaby really impressed me in that deep role he played.

C'mon guys, let's do it,boots laced hard and eyes on the EPL trophy,NO SLIP UPS please,we must win this one

Drogbas CAF award is purely political to placate him for losing out to Kanoute in 2007.

How can Sammy Eto who copped 36 goals and won everything last season lose to Drogba who only copped 14 goals and an FA Cup. . . or did Ivory Coast win the World Cup?
Absolutely correct and it's a shame that CAF seems to have found a penchant for making embarrasing decisions and choices, this will surely take some shine off the awards, even Drogba himself wont be too impressed

Drogba named African Player of the Year 2009
[img][/img]
ACCRA (AFP) - Chelsea striker Didier Drogba was on Thursday named African Footballer of the Year for 2009, the second time the Ivory Coast international has won the award.

Drogba pushed Inter Milan and Cameroon skipper Samuel Eto'o into second place in the vote amongst national team coaches from Confederation of African Football (CAF) member-nations.

Drogba also won in 2006, again ahead of Eto'o, but was denied the continent's top individual prize in 2007 when he failed to attend the awards ceremony in Togo.

Ghana and Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien was third.

TP Mazembe of DR Congo, who clinched the CAF Champions League for the first time in 49 years, were named the best club ahead of Nigeria's Heartland and CAF Confederation winners Stade Malien of Mali.

Mazembe skipper Tresor Mputu Mabi picked up the award for best African player based on the continent.

Sellas Tetteh was voted best coach after he led Ghana to the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in September, while Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah was African Young Footballer of the Year following his goals in the tournament in Egypt.

Algeria were adjudged the best national team after they upset African champions and bitter rivals Egypt to qualify for the World Cup.

it is not nice to make fun of Chelsea's history. . . Apologize!
But I didn't bring it up,I know The Arsenal has a better history of trophies(EPL 3 time winners, against the 2 times managed by Chelsea,(10 times FA cup winners as against the 4 times managed by Chelsea)but I didn't mention it so there really is no need for apologies. We no dey quarrel na

Chelski better put up next Tuesday,as your cheap points will be no consolation to the Chavs by then,so you may as well take another jab  tongue tongue

With a name like Greg Osu, what do u expect? He was just simply treated like an OSU. The meaning of his name was just melted out to him.
@ Chosen04

If you tried to be funny, you didn't impress me.In any case his name isn't Greg Osu,but Greg Otsu,he's a personal friend of mine and we spoke about the unfortunate incident this morning. The ring leaders of that nonsense were the protocol officer to Gbenga Daniel and the ADC

I know Greg and I know we've not heard the last of this matter

Emperor Justus Gbenga Daniel should be ashamed of himself,we are not deceived by the fake mien of simplicity he wears on his face,we know he's a demon, but this time around he'll be thoroughly embarrassed

Naysayers will never cease to amaze me;before it was Arsenal will not make it to the quarters,Arsenal is already out of the EPL title race, but after The Gunners, via scintillating performances shut the voyeurs up,they come up with another mantra, will Arsenal win this or win thathuh??
Oh pleeaaaaasse

You don't learn from history do you?
No hon,I don't
BTW,history is over rated, out dated and already out the window

History taught folks that the American presidency was for whites only, that weather was 100% predictable, that women would be subservient to men forever, that only natural birds could fly, that it was the birthright of AC Milan and Real Madrid to mostly qualify for the quarter finals of the UCL,,,,,,that chelski could play footy grin grin grin

Gallas' calf injury has been aggravated. This aint good one bit, though Sol is doing okay,we however need Gallas back as well as full options in our backline

Let's not over celebrate and et carried away, there's a bigger task at hand, that is to ensure we dont drop more tan 4 points in the EPL home stretch,WE HAVE TO LIFT THE EPL TROPHY this season, not just to silence the naysayers and professional Arsenal haters, but it's about time we did it for ourselves

I fell asleep  after about 17 minutes of play, woke up ten minutes later, fell asleep again as a result of uninspiring footy the two teams played,it went on and on and on ,the game was sooooo boring, both teams played amateurish football, but Milan was piss poor and gave the scummies an easy victory.

Milan had no character, they lacked a leader they lacked that belief

However,I'm happy Milan are out but I didnt expect them to play like the entire team had a flu or something

Damn,Milan is a disgrace
