To all my fellow suporters of The Arsenal Football Club; May you have a victorious weekend and enough reason to pop champaigne SPEEDY RECOVERY to our injured lads, especially RVP & Ramsey |
Ibori's day of judgement will come,MARK MY WORDS |
Hey GOONERS,Like I wrote somewhere,in our push for the EPL title this year, all kinds of permutations are flying about as to which club needs to do what and which ones need to not do what( ) for several scenarios to play out by Sunday,9 May 2010 With our boots laced hard, all hands on deck, there is no eason why we cannot take 28 out of the 30 points Our defining moments(per the remaining games) will be; First and foremost the two match days in April.First April 10 away to the spuds and April 24 @ Fort Emirates against Citeh(not that the remaining 8 fixtures are write offs, but these two are surely our toughest hurdles to cross on the road to EPL glory this season) Secondly, the lone match day in March and three in April that Manure has;i.e March 21 @ home to Liverpool,April 3 @ home to Chelski,April 17 away to Citeh and finally April 25 @ home to the spuds in which I hope and pray they drop @ least 7 points Finally the lone match day in March and three in April that Chelski has;i.e March 27 @ home to Villa,April 3 away to Manure,April 17 away to Spuds and finally May 1 away to Liverpool in which I hope and pray they drop @ least 10 points So I just need my three points against Burnley tommorow, for all I care,we can win by half a goal, all I just need is a win GO ARSENAL |

I just need this 3 points from this game more than the Niger Delta needs federal patronage, even if I get it via half a goal, baa wahala |
Hello Joseph, are you high on weed or crack ![]() |
@ Jalether Just shut up dia, where in Dudu's post did he say what you mentioned.Nobody is saying Theo has always been a Diego Maradona, but at least.prior to the injuries and the surgeries,he could still outrun opposing players and cross the ball decently enough, both of which things he presently has forgotten how to do since he came back from injury I don't see Arsene selling him in the nearest future,he should remain a fringe player pending when he can at least run and cross balls again;that for me will be just fine |
dayokanu:Sorry,it wont happen |
N101:Exactly |
Very apt advice,he should proceed to disband the present brigade of guards and constitute a new one, redeploy the present chief of army staff(so he wont have to look over his shoulders the entire period he'll be acting president and president),reconstitute the Federal cabinet(to weed out all disloyal ministers that may proveto be fatal moles and fifth columnists),order a re-trial if James Ibori, tackle the problem of fuel scarcity and power outage in the country, then finally address the pervasive issue of general insecurity in Nigeria |
Be aggressive, Danjuma tells Jonathan The chairman of the presidential Advisory Committee,Gen Theophilus Danjuma (RTD), GCON, has advised the Acting President Goodluck Jonathan to act fast and aggressively effect the needed transformation in the country. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the 25-man committee which was held at the council chambers of the presidential villa, today, he urged Mr. Jonathan to make the fight against corruption pro-active rather than reactive. “This is a decisive moment in our history,” he said. “At such moments God always ensures that a nation possesses significant personalities who are to act as his agents for change. You, Mr. Acting President, are the significant personality that God has chosen at this time to take your place at the front in the struggle to save our country. Because the times are extra-ordinary, the measures that need to be taken are not only urgent but also extra-ordinary.” He added that “unless you take those measures quickly the goodwill which you now enjoy may be lost.” http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/National/5535872-146/be_aggressive_danjuma_tells_jonathan_.csp |

While on my way back from my office at about 7pm last night,I listened to a phone-in radio programme on Inspiration FM which topic was Incest in Nigerian families and the presenter encouraged people to phone in;victims, offenders, counsellors and the public at large. As soon as he said that,I just said within me,this programme will be dominated by "by-standers",i.e people who have not experienced or known someone who has been a victim of the crime of incest.HOW WRONG WAS I. More than half of the callers were actual victims, both male and female victims, some said their biological fathers started having carnal knowledge of them way back when they were ten years old,one even said his dad got her pregnant thrice and aborted the pregnancies thrice, one guy said his step mom started sleeping with him on his fifteenth birthday some people called in to say their older siblings slept with them and the list goes on and on and on What on earth will make someone want to sexually abuse their own children. From what most of them said, the non-abusing parent always disbelieved or chose not to beleive their children anyime they informed them that the other parent was sexually abusing them. Nairalanders what are your views concerning this abnormal sexual behaviour and what suggestions do you have for persons hat may have been victims of this and the way out, your contributions may just free somebody from this bondage, you never can tell,so let's hear you |
v3:Spain and France are not actually at the same footballing level presently;Spain is far ahead plus I heard scoring by hand was outlawed in that game ![]() |
Hey GOONERRRRRRRRRS How's everbody enjoining the international friendlies, you know what, this is the first time in a long while that our lads have gone on international break and I have no fear of any of them returning with injuries(cos almost everybody has been injured )thunder no dey strike 2ce 4 wan placeThat said,in our push for the EPL title this year, all kinds of permutations are flying about as to which club needs to do what and which ones need to not do what( ) for several scenarios to play out by Sunday,9 May 2010With our boots laced hard, all hands on deck, there is no eason why we cannot take 28 out of the 30 points Our defining moments(per the remaining games) will be; First and foremost the two match days in April.First April 10 away to the spuds and April 24 @ Fort Emirates against Citeh(not that the remaining 8 fixtures are write offs, but these two are surely our toughest hurdles to cross on the road to EPL glory this season) Secondly, the lone match day in March and three in April that Manure has;i.e March 21 @ home to Liverpool,April 3 @ home to Chelski,April 17 away to Citeh and finally April 25 @ home to the spuds in which I hope and pray they drop @ least 7 points Finally the lone match day in March and three in April that Chelski has;i.e March 27 @ home to Villa,April 3 away to Manure,April 17 away to Spuds and finally May 1 away to Liverpool in which I hope and pray they drop @ least 10 points That done, then hmm hmm hmmm Who's with me on this? ^^^ Good for his confidence, the goal |
With the top three spots on the EPL "sure" to be occupied by Arsenal,Man Utd and Chelsea (in no particular order),there is set to be a fierce fight for the 4th spot between Tottenham H'spurs,Man City and Liverpool with 49,49,and 48 points respectively, with City having a game in hand. Personally my choice will be swayed by the club that still has to play against Man U and Chelsea and the one most likely to take maximum points from United and Chelsea in their upcoming ties.In this regard, though Tottenham and Liverpool both have to meet United and Chelsea(and I wish them both maximum points in those fixtures),nonetheless,my choice for fourth spot will have to be Liverpool(cos Tottenham actually sucks )So folks, let's have your choices and the reasons that influenced such choices |
safariman:Dude are you in this planet at all, just watch out Trust Sanushit @ ur own peril |
It baffles me why Dayo keeps wasting bis time with such a hated club as Bayern, the type followership that Bayern has on nairaland is a reflection of what obtains in Germany. Last weekend was a very sad one for most Germans, why;Bayern ascended to the top of the bundesliga ![]() |
^^^ It's only an opinionated fake fan like Dayo that will want the whole world to believe that a club that spent ten naira to acquire rights to a stadium can actually come and talk when other clubs who have spent hundreds of millions on dollars in building their own stadium are talking |
Bayern Munich should be removed from that list,it should not include clubsides that their national governmenta dashed stadium |
Other football clubs in the world should actually approach the Arsenal for free tutorials on how to be a profitable clubside ![]() |
Helloooooooooo How come nobody has mentioned shrek,Wayne Rooney |
Scholastic_Amure:Stop joking Fab4 is finer than your whole lineage |
As if the loss by Bayelsa United was not bad enough, three members of the super sports news crew that went to cover the match were kidnapped by yet to be identified persons |
Why is sanusi so anti shareholders,he's always looking for a way to push the shareholders out so his cronies and fronts can come take over the banks. Despicable snake, where were his so called foreign banks/investors during Soludo's consolidation excercise, after showing a lack of faith in the Nigerian banking industry by failing to invest in it when the banks were small and needed capital to expand, sanushit now wants to bring them in through the back door to reap the fruit of other people's sweat |
debosky:We know,we don't need you to tell us he's a closet Arsenal fan |
honeric01:Don't rule out Warri Wolves mate,as Insurance of Benin picture |
It was a classic case of mixed fortunes in the continental football matches played in Yenagoa and Warri respectively over the weekend. At the Samson Siasia sports stadium in Yenagoa,Bayelsa United featuring in the CAF champions league, played host to Sporting Gazelle of Chad. The game ended with scores thus; Bayelsa United 2 - 2 Sporting Gazelle Subsequently,Bayelsa united was knocked out of the CAF champion's league, having lost the reverse fixture in Chad by a lone goal, hence aggregate scores was Bayelsa United 2- 3 Sporting Gazelle It can be said that Bayelsa's inability to proceed is a good example of how not to run a football club,as even up untill some hours to the game, the players were still on a three-day strike(meaning they didn't even train for the game) as a result of unpaid wages and sign-on fees. The players were not motivated by their very poor management It is instructive to mention here that club chairman,Victor Baribote is one of the candidates hoping to succeed Chief Oyuiki Obaseki as head of NPL IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DEVELOPMENT, Warri Wolves are through to the second round of the CAF confederations cup after defeating Atletico Olympico of Burundi by a lone goal in the return leg of the match played on Saturday February 27 @ the Warri City stadium thereby progressin 2-1 on aggregates having secured a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture in Burundi Atletica Olympico;parading 8 members of the Burundian national team, were a hard nut to crack as they held their own for more than 60 minutes before super sub,Omonigho Temilo scored the only goal for the hosts(Warri Wolves) The game was watched by top officials of Delta State government, including the state governor,Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and his deputy Prof Amos Utuama. As a mark of appreciation and to further motivate the players and officials of Warri Wolves, one of the sponsors of the club(Income Electric)gave them a N10 million reward for making it to the second round, where they are billed to meet Zesco United of Zambia Meanwhile,DTSG has promised to give Warri Wolves all the support they need to do very well in that competition |
@ admin The Thread topic should be edited to read; Her Husband Is Filing For Divorce, not filing a divorce Thanks |
They should just impeach YarAdua |
ziddy: O boy you must be an insider.I didn't want to go that route. After this week collapsed, then came leaders and company/network delta, then came the senatorial contest(during which so many presidential aspirants and other money bags raised so much money for him) which he lost to Dan Azinge, then the Duke pitched his tent with IBB at about the time Nigeria was having credibility crises because of June 12 and petroleum pump price increase.Enter Nduka and Michael how much t Jarvis and co(This firm was hired to do a worldwide PR for Nigeria, need I remind y'all of the amount the FG paid for the job? ,do you know how much the Duke got ) After then, the fact is the Duke has found a way to remain relevant and friendly with successive governments at the federal and state levels such that you guys wont believe the amount of money he gets from these sources anytime he wants to organise one of those Thisday music festivals or Africa Rising or festival of ideas. O boy e don do sef, make una free the guy bo |
