larimo: From what I read, its your attitude that might likely be pushing your husband farther. It may not mean that he does not have issues but your attitude is fuelling them even more. Are you kidding me?which wife's attitude could push a husband to go have extra marital lovers outside;even up to ten ? It's out of respect for the OP that I won't describe her husband with some adjectives However,Damysa your marriage or what you call your marriage is only so in language and not in reality,to think you dated this guy for four years ,well you must find out if he's married one of those his lovers secretly,if he has, then BEAT IT,if not then you really must do your best to solve this serious issue, seek God's face, there must be a respectable person known to you and your husband,go talk to them,if he's a christian then talk to his pastor, get him to commit to make changes just as you too in order to make this work. If you try this once,JUST ONCE and he doesn't change, then BEAT IT,leave that man,he neither loves nor deserves you, else you may look back ten-twenty years from now and regret not leaving him now |
Family › Re: Are My Feelings About My Husband/marriage Normal? by rasputinn(m): 8:21am On Mar 15, 2010 |
Outstrip: Honestly I think things will get much better for you guys. I think one thing people fail to keep in mind is that when times are hard is when you need to strive to be closer. Your husband does not see this. He does not realize that he is defining the success of his life by the success of a career. What if he never passes the board (God forbid) will he then say that he will be misreable forever? Or maybe he passes the exam then he has to start fixing the things that he did wrong that has probably gotten his marriage to a point where his wife sees a different person.
I will just be honest and say that I can understand his frustrations but what you should not accept is him making you feel like you are not a good wife. don't ever accept that and you have to let him understand that. The other thing I always hate to hear in marriages is saying you are sorry even when you know you are not the one at fault. Sometimes that works when it is not a big issue but when it is issues that are eating you up but you just say it for the other person to be happy then that is not healthy.
Bottom line do not give up on this marriage. It is just too soon. I think you can still make him see reason. Ask him what will happen after he passes his exams and start working. Would he not want a wife that is sweet and loving rather than a bitter resentful one? Tell him that you guys can have the best of both worlds by building on the one you have now regardless of the situation. The foundation is what matters. Above all be patient with this man. I think you have been doing a wonderful job. Keep it up and I believe you will be happy for it Hmm,very sound, deep and objective,I'm so loving you now Outsrip |

Ujujoan: I remember my first kiss was with my cousin. I was 7, maybe 8. He should be in his mid teens then. Anyway, I came to their house and he conered in the staircase which is a bit dark, and kissed me. Not a peck, a full, lips on lips kiss, I think there was even some caressing! I was too confused to realize what was going on and honestly, I didnt know what he was doing. But I remeber having this feeling that what he was doing was wrong, but the whole thing was really confusing. I managed to get out of his embrace and he begged me not to tell anybody.
The whole experience is hazy, but I know I developed a deep seated hatred for him. I don't know if he even remembers what he did and sometimes I dont. But everyone knows there's no love lost between us! Thank goodness you got out of his embrace before he could go further as I'm sure he woulda done if you hadn't done so |

RVP has been out since November,Le Prof isn't sure he'll be back next month(to maybe play in about 4 EPL games),but methinks even if RVP were to be back next month,he'll be too fragile and match-rusty to make any meaningful contribution to our title challenge On Gallas, how did a minor calf injury end up rulling him out for so long, just when we thought he was getting better and about to resume action,he sufferred a re-occurence,Dr Kit come and explain o . Seriously,we need Gallas back in the team as I shudder at the thought of what will happen if Sol were to suffer a major injury we'd then be left with Silvestre, who's bad news IMO,Sol himself has just been coping;barely coping That said,I wish all of them speedy recovery;especially captain FAB4 and Song.Ramsey gets a special get-well-soon |

That ref took the confidence out of our boys and Wenger has to make serious noise about that. Loo kerstwhi at what Boateng did, weren't those supposed to be two straight reds ?
