jamace:Former president Yar Adua has to take the blame for everything his aides do or say in this matter,I know he did not directly say that, but a certain idiiot named Olusegun Adeniyi read one silly crap in which he referred to the acting president as Vice president and the former president as president |
bgees:No you shut the fucck up |
~Sauron~:Buahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ![]() |
@ Sharon You're just being dubious, you and I know that it's been the anthem/code of most prem teams, especially those at the lower rung of the ladder that once they get very physical with the young Arsenal players, then they are more likely to get a result,so when an accident occurs in such games, chances of them being freaky and horrific are higher than the once arising from a non-premeditated physical approach game |
Arsenal have reacted angrily after midfielder Aaron Ramsey suffered a serious injury that echoed the broken leg sustained by team-mate Eduardo da Silva in 2008. The Welshman appeared to have his lower leg broken in a tackle with Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross, who was shown a red card by referee Peter Walton. Shawcross left the field in tears, while players from both sides were visibly traumatised as medics administered emergency treatment and gave Ramsey oxygen. The game was stopped for several minutes before Ramsey was stretchered into an ambulance and driven away from the Britannia Stadium. Sky television decided not to show replays of the challenge because they considered the footage to be too upsetting. Manager Arsene Wenger said the injury was a consequence of the excessively physical approach teams take against his side. "I am not very happy with the tackle," he said. "We have lost three players - (Abou) Diaby, Eduardo and Ramsey - for nine months or a year on horrendous tackles. "I don't believe in coincidence when it happens as often as this." Arsenal went on to win the game 3-1 with goals from Nicklas Bendtner, Cesc Fabregas and Thomas Vermaelen after Danny Pugh opened the scoring for Stoke. Speaking after the game, Fabregas called for referees to stamp out on dangerous challenges, saying: "You could say we are not protected enough. I think so." Croatian striker Eduardo missed nearly a year with a compound leg fracture following a tackle by Birmingham City's Martin Taylor in 2008. Diaby was injured after a challenge by Sunderland's Dan Smith two years earlier. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/27022010/58/premier-league-ramsey-suffers-serious-injury.html |
[img][/img] You want to compare a harmless stamp on a foot with a horrific leg break, don't worry,I pray it happens to Rooney so we'll see how you'll react

frosbel:This is the first time I'm seeing the photo and that driver has the blood of those victims on his cowardly head,he should have refused to do the bidding of the robbers and let them kill him instead,God and man would have remembered him for good. I wonder how he sleeps |
I wont beat about the bush I want him to die,yes and his wife too,if the wife even dies first, better for Nigeria |
I see so many I only pity Umaru Yar Adua for marrying a witch who obviously loves political power more than she pretends to love her husband Anyways, let him just die,and quickly too so Turai can move back to Katsina to sell kunu |
Shawcross was devastated after the accident, but that does not remove the fact that they were going about the game rugby kind of physical way |
nateevs:Ibime's prognostication are spot on with very high probabilty of a bull'e eye, like I said earlier it takes a very objective and realistic mind to comment as he has done |
4 Play:Well, all I can say is sorry in advance for your loss |
~Sauron~:No no no,please delete Adebollocks from that list,on his return from the 4-match ban,he'll repeat his default violent tackle against another player and that time,he'll get banned for the remainder of the season,so please count the id.iot out ~Sauron~:Very correct |
Vieira:Don't mind the idiotic commentators and writers who tend to encourage half-baked footballers that cannot match mesmerizing footie and therefore resort to breaking limbs. When it happened to Eduardo,it was Arsenal's probem and the stupid Brit press were critical enough of Taylor, now it's happened to Ramsey(OMG,I'm still shuddering) |
akinalabi: ~Sauron~:Yea right, pretend to laugh on nairaland only to go back to your room and get all apprehensive because of THE ARSENAL |
Anyway, put ya money where your mouth is. . . I am willing to bet £100 that Ancelotti will not win the league this season. . . and another £100 that Ancelotti will not finish in the top 2.For this above,I hail your objectivity Ibime |
Lager no be beer?? Well let him settle down quickly and throw the camp open ASAP |
Our squad is seriously depleted due nto injury, all the same, let them just beware of long throws and 3 points will be ours |
@ OP I don't need to read your post,I'll just go ahead and say a big AMEN,God please kill Yar Adua NOW,so we can move forward and his criminal cabal will be broken BTW,most members of his cabal should die too |
@ OP I didn't bother to read the thrash you wrote,I would've if it was titled,WHY YAR ADUA SHOULD DIE NOW or WHY IBORI SHOULD BE JAILED NOW |
Let God arise and wipe off all these sponsors of assasinations in our land |
9ijaprince:Oh,I never thought of that, thanks for the info I cease to waste my time |
Olusegun Adeniyi is a goat When he was with Thisday newspapers,he wrote against these kinds of things that Yar Adua and Turai are doing,so why has he not resigned his appointment The hypocrite even swore to an oath, who knows whether it was at Okija shrine he swore |
![]() Okay, dumb OP,here's my prayer for Yar Adua; "Mr Yar Adua, for toying with the fate of over 150 million people and bringing Nigeria closest to the brink of civil war since after the June 12 debacle, may the angel of death from God strike you quickly, kill you off, you, your Jezebel of a wife Turai as well as every member of your so-called kitchen cabinet, may the angel of death from God almighty kill you all, starting with you and Mrs Turai Yar Adua so that Nigeria will move forward" Now OP,you do need a prayer and my prayer to God for you are as follows; (1)That He forgives you for starting a horrible thread such as this (2)If you started it out of ignorance(which will be amazing as even a 3yr old kid is aware of the dangerous level Yara Dead and his clique have brought Nigeria),then God should cure you of such ignorance of garngantuan proportion (3)If however, you're in ANY WAY related to Yara Dead or any member of his satanic clique feeding fat on the blood of Nigeria and careless if this country disintegrates or not, then olohi remains your case |
Aloy+Emeka: becomricch:Holy Moses I hate it when peeps draw conclusions as if they just came straight out of the tombo bar or beer parlour. You started a thread topic hinged on a very serious allegation and the best you could tell is that hearsay and beccomemapped's approval can substitute your source ?Blimey, this surely is the day |
Stoke 3 Man shitty 1 Ahh Omase ooo |
Turai checkmates Jonathan [img][/img] The handlers of the ailing President Umaru Yar'Adua who sneaked him into the country in the wee hours of today have not wasted any time in trying to wrest power from Acting President Goodluck Jonathan. Unconfirmed reports speak of plans to make him resign if he doesn't toe the line now being drawn by Turai Yar'Adua who is now effectively in charge of the presidency. A number of ministers who were deemed to have been disloyal to Mr Yar'Adua, are also slated to be sacked, and Dora Akunyili is said to be top on that list. A source in Aso rock confirmed that officials of the State Security Service had this afternoon gone into the office of Mr Jonathan and conducted a thorough search although it is not immediately clear what they were looking for. They were allegedly working under the directives of Mrs Yar'Adua. Only a few hours after he arrived the country, and while he lies convalescing in a ‘clinic', aides to the President began systematically to divest Mr Jonathan of any opportunity to exercise the powers of the presidency. He has been denied access to the President and to any information that will keep him abreast of the unfolding drama. Sources say he is barely managing to avoid embarrassment as events keep changing around him and he only gets to hear of the changes after they were announced. As early as 11.31am, while he prepared for the weekly meeting of the Executive Council of the Federation, a security detail entered the chambers and immediately secured the president's chair to prevent Mr Jonathan from sitting on it. Less than one hour later, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Yayale Ahmed announced that the Council meeting has been postponed. Instead, Mr Jonathan was scheduled to have a private meeting with the ministers. That meeting eventually lasted less than 10 minutes and the confusion was evident in the faces of some of the ministers who appeared to be sleep walking . As part of the process of demoting Mr Jonathan, Presidential spokesperson, Segun Adeniyi has announced that from now on the Acting president will revert back to his previous status of vice President, although he will still need to hold the fort while the President recuperates. However, there are indications that none of this is happening with Mr Jonathan's consent as he remained locked out of the decision making process. Although no one has come out to say he is under house arrest, sources say after the search of his office, the Acting president was effectively kept apart and the coterie of visitors that has been around him in the last two weeks is no longer evident. As a sign that Mrs Yar'Adua is now in charge of running the presidency, the Acting President has been scheduled to meet with her this evening, and sources say the fate of Mr Jonathan may depend on how that meeting goes. US concerns The United States of America has raised concern over the sudden return of Mr Yar'Adua. A statement from its mission in Abuja today warns that the President's return may create chaos in the nation's polity. According to Johnnie Carson, the US Under-Secretary of State on African Affairs, the US government hopes that, "President Yar'Adua's return to Nigeria is not an effort by his senior advisors to upset Nigeria's stability and create renewed uncertainty in the democratic process." The statement also touched on the president's health: "We hope that his health is sufficient to enable him to fully resume his official duties," Mr Carson said, adding, "Nigeria needs a strong, healthy, and effective leader to ensure the stability of the country and to manage Nigeria's many political, economic and security challenges." http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/National/5531707-146/turai_checkmates_jonathan___.csp |
