Now I'm convinced hull was grossly underrated N E ways a good beating to Porto will heal some of the weekend wound |
bagoma:The very thing we did not let happen to Hull |
Zenith's year end is September, hope they'll match or better FBN's dividend and bonus |
Okay now enough already of the hull this hull that(we'll still have time to refer to it sometime in the future) So let's talk about the CL game against Porto tommorow, have y'all seen the line up?? |
@ decoded You made a mess of inserting my quote |
Personally I'D hoped that we'D take max adv of our fairly easy( ) opponents in the early stages of the season to grab as many points (and GDs)as possible before Nov when we'D have to square up against manscum,Villa and Chelshit before hosting Liverfluke the following month.Though Le Prof has complained about the wastefulness of our more established strikers and threatened to wield the big axe(whatever that means),I want our players to up the ante in our subsequent matches, show greater hunger in front of goal, contest every contestable ball, close down every space on the pitch, mark tighter and be more alert while defending set pieces.Play everygame like their very lives depended on it. Finally whatever AW and his lads do,I will NEVER forgive them if they fumble against spuds on Oct 29(now that's one fixture, the thought alone of which makes me grin, and woe betide anyone figurring to turn my grin to a frown on that day) |
All the hooplah about the loss to Hull is cos it's Hull Geeeeez,Hull(boy do I still have a sour taste in me mouth? )Now someone just called in to wish me very happy Eid hulliday, like it's supposed to mean anything to me Well I ain't on no holiday and I ain't no muslim,so I'll pass |
And finally for our bruvas n sistas whose days fall on the 29th and 30th,we say do have yourselves very blessed birthdays And they are; September 29th: Sannies,Bigproject,Sept 29,Ikamefa,Pclay,Testy,chiegemba,freeranger and Joyblinks September 30th: Goldwater |
debosky:Pls give 'em Almunia's address too ![]() |
debosky:And you're responding by complaining ![]() Why not deploy some of 'em wytches from ur farm to pay them midnight visits tonight Now that's creeeeeeeeeepy |
T'was a shame we lost, even if to a newly-promoted Hull and @ the Emirates However that does not say any thing definitive per our chances of winning the league,as I'm not sure of any club that can boast of having won the league already by virtue of this loss with 5/6 games played. Come to think of it,I'd rather lose to Hull than lose to Totenham(the wound from last season's loss took quite a while to heal) |
Fabregas clears. Man we better sit up against these hull dudes |
I'm off to the Emirates with 11 tiger cages ![]() |
mukina2:C'mon Muki gimme a break You make me wanna think of Eboue and go"oh how are the mighty fallen",if just because he scored a goal and was lucky to have a penalty call from his dive just for once makes him a superstar. He is still on my probation list(as he only recently got off my black book) No doubt there is more purpose to his game now than the eyesore we were forced to behold last season, but the fact still remains that the Eboue of today (@ least thus far)is a very far cry from the Eboue of 2006 A-40:If there's any thing that worries me silly,it's injuries,as we lost out in the quest for the EPL trophy last season just because of injuries(if truth be told),however I have a feeling we won't be so unlucky this time around A-40:Q.E.D |
edoyad:Exactly Personally I hate predictions, with what happened/did not happen;pre and during the summer transfer window,I still remain cautiously optimistic about this season,at least till January when the window will re-open.That way,any 3 points garnered from any fixture will be much cherished ![]() |
J UNIT:Jay how body?Wuz in J'burg briefly, will make return trip next month for my order. You were a bit scarce, lack of club footie been send you go sleep abi ![]() |
Ihuoma85:Happy birthday Ihuoma |
Sureman:Na by force?? Okay start by telling us the company wey merge or change name to aaiico |
debosky:Yep,but in the face of the desired finished products not being readily available, then we just have to make do with what we've got. I just have this gut feeling that Song and Denilson,if given more EPL playing times will definitely cut their teeth completely as it were and hold the fort.So I opine we just keep our fingers crossed @ least till January. P.S Yo,Debz, what producest thou from thine farm ![]() |
toksdam:Hi Toks, these here are your bday mates Franklinog,Scubagirl and Mikelbay |
anny2020:Happy birthday Anny |
trademanx: ![]() Don't you guys get tired of recycling the same tales |
I don't knowhow many posters here will actually vote in the US presidential elections, but since it's an open forum,it's all good to hear all views ![]() There are so many issues to consider before a person decides to prefer one of the contestants to the other,I've considered those pertinent to me and that has left John Mccain as my preferred choice. ![]() |
felix-G:That's only possible if we stay injury-free With what I saw yesterday,I think the lads need more EPL playing time as that will surely boost their confidence That done,we'll then be able to have very ready options in all departments and not fret when a first-teamer is injured or runs outta gas ,this will also give us a semblance of strength in depth |
Vieira:Sure man,I hope there's no Taylor out there figurring to break his legs ![]() |
And a big welcome to the latest members on this thread Lompi23,Saskatoon,Lawrea,QueenAnais and Jamesjami Daps to y'all |
Hello everyone, It's good to be back after a very busy spell, went to bury my mother-in-law The devil is a loser The song of praise of the most high God will remain on our lips |

A-40:Hmmmmmmmmmm,Eboue oh Eboue Will he allay my worries?I mean all thru d entire season ![]() Good game yesterday though |
I no want injury for Arsenal.

That's just the point,if the guys stay injury-free,then we really have a fighting chance of going all the way, despite the fact that so many people wish us the contrary. I remain cautiously optimistic even as I keep rooting for my team |
Hi all To all my peeps that celebrated this week, hope y'all had a wonderful time |
