Like I mentioned in an earlier thread,I can't wait to see pictures of Ibori in handcuffs, either on his way from Dubai to the UK or when he arrives the UK.Also I'd appreciate peeps who'd be quick enough to post his court room pictures in the UK The bloody rogue |

Hurray:Dubai court extradites Ibori to London The Dubai court of First Instance has ruled that the former governor of Delta State, James Ibori, be transferred to authorities in the United Kingdom, saying he has "a case to answer in the UK." The court ruled that Mr Ibori should be extradited to the United Kingdom to face charges of money laundering, credit card fraud and official theft. Mr Ibori, who was arrested in the Emirate by the International Police (INTERPOL) in May, now has 30 days to file for and receive an appellate decision. He was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly mismanaging N528 million shares of Delta State in Oceanic Bank a month before his arrest in the UAE after evading arrest in Nigeria. A warrant of arrest was also issued on him by the UK Metropolitan Police for money laundering. Mr Ibori's sister, Christine Ibie-Ibori, and his mistress, Udoamaka Okoronkwo (nee Onuigbo) have already been successfully prosecuted in the UK, for helping the former governor move an estimated £70 million worth of looted funds through several London banks. Both women are serving jail terms in a UK prison. Mr Ibori's wife, Theresa Nkoyo, and one of his UK-based lawyers, Bhadresh Gohil, are also currently facing trial in a London courtroom. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5631663-146/dubai_court_extradites_ibori_to_london.csp[img][/img]

The second semi final game between Esperance and Al Ahly was more like a WWF. Even the ball boys were something else, anytime the ball went into touch,it took them forever to get the ball back.Anytime Esperance had a free kick near the goal area of Ahly, there was this laser beam from the stands directed to the eyes of the Al Ahly keeper.Players were punching, hitting hacking down other players as well as harrassing the ref. Phewwwwww ,I was os glad to hear the final whistle |
Sad week for Nigeria sports;three olympic athletes tested postive for drug use,now FIFA member, the very egotistic Amos Adamu is alleged to have offerred to sell his vote for the hosts of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA world cups |
This is pure NEMESIS,just yesterday he was busy ranting on Brilla for realla about how Jay Jay Okocha and Victor Ikpeba were common area boys and beer sellers |
ola olabiy:I actually get irritated when I hear people use troubleshooter in place of troublemaker |
Abagworo:You are wrong my friend and Jesuspikin is right The reason Nigeria's economy almost ground to a halt when Okah was arrested two years ago first in Angola for gun running before being extradited to Nigeria, was because then the amnesty programme was yet to come into effect, hence the real MEND,i.e the MEND based in the ND comprising of commanders that had camps in the ND intensified their attacks of economic sabotage against the FG. May I remind you that the major camps of the militants were located in Delta,Bayelsa and Rivers states.Delta actually had the most camps with the most foot soldiers, with the ultimate commander being Tompolo who was in charge of camp 5 that oversaw about ten other camps in the state. Boyloaf,Boychiki,Fara Dagogog and co had their camps in the creeks of Bayelsa, whilewhile Ateke Tom,Soboma George and others operated from Rivers state. All the above accepted amnesty, even Boyloaf that was closest tlo Okah,so what we see now are rogue elements of MEND(based outside the ND) whose only language is money by any means and their operations are teleguided by Henry Okah himself |
@ Dayo Why e dey pain you Dayo.Is it our fault that despite your trophyless this and trophyless that rhetorics,Arsenal is loved, adored and followed globally in such numbers that your lonely and miserable Bayern can only dream of ![]() The world(including a certain Dayo) loves The Arsenal Why not concentrate on your next bundeswahckza game udoji united |
@ Beaf Don't waste your time. Who is peacesak (I'm very suspicious of posts emanating from VERY RECENTLY REGISTERED NLANDERS,who dwell mostly on sensitive topics) Nuff said |
Terrorist Henry Okah, shame on you for the inglorious path you've chosen to tread.Your erstwhile colleagues in MEND,who had and ran the various camps in the creeks, have ALL embraced the amnesty programme offerred by the FG and have all agreed to give peace a chance to blossom in Nigeria, but not you;for all you think about is money, money, money, even if you have to kill your brothers and sisters to get it,so be it.Even if you have to sell your mother or your soul to get it,so be it.Shame on you There you are talking trash about how your brother faked or didn't fake your shameless voice, why not tell us your mother faked it as well, you really are a shame to the nation in general and the Niger Delta region in particular |

^^^ Tuface,I careless if Mikel snubbed you or not.If he did it,I'm sure he has his reason, you too snub him back make mata rest |
slap1:Now there's a very scary, but probable scenario BTW,I've never liked Mikel as a person,as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing he has that we've not seen before, other footballers have been there and done that;on a higher level, today as they're no longer in the spotlight, posterity is judging them by the life they led on and off the pitch. So all that Oh-I-really-don't-have-to-play-for-Nigeria and I'm-doing-Nigerians-a-favour-by-playing-for-the-eagles attitude has dented his image |
sledge406:Yes yes.It sounds cool, just like a line from one of those la cosa nostra flicks Abi you be mafia? Per the clarification,I guess you're okay now |
Mr Governor, would you rather not spend money and govern a lawless state where armed robbers, kidnappers and assasins hold the hapless citizens hostage, while banks and other businesses shut their doors and flee your state. By the way, what did you intend to use the security vote for ![]() |
Abia State Governor Theodore Orji, on Wednesday, confessed that the activities of kidnappers in the state actually rattled him. Orji, who spoke with journalists in Abuja, however said normalcy was already returning to the state and appealed to workers and others doing business in the state to return. He said he had told owners of business premises in the state to either return or be ready to lose their Certificate of Occupancy. The governor said he had to say this because people were already suffering due to the refusal of some banks to open for business, a situation he said was already having adverse effect on the people. He, however, regretted that the state was spending a lot of money to maintain security in the state, adding that such money could have been utilised in providing social services for the people. The Federal Government recently deployed soldiers to the state when it was apparent that the police could no longer match the kidnappers’ superior arms. “It is a great cost to us. We have to buy them (security agencies) vehicles and other exigencies which we cannot be talking about for security reasons. “These monies are what we ought to use for the people by constructing roads, build hospitals, schools and other things for the people. “But, we must also provide security for them, which is the first duty of government. If there is no security, how will the people go about their business? How will the students attend schools? How will government even work? Will the investors also come and invest in the state in particular and Nigeria in general? “We are now on top of the situation but I must confess that the kidnapper really rattled us.” Asked how the kidnappers got their weapons, Orji said his suspicion was that they got them either from some militants who refused to lay down their all their arms in the Niger Delta or from those who imported them. He said what the state witnessed had shown that those charged with the responsibility of manning the borders must be more alert. http://www.punchontheweb.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2010101414354798 |

^^^ ^^^ Yes,but some people have the tendency of spelling the noun derivative by simply lifting the verb form and replacing the letter e in it with iation So the correct spellings are; Pronounce(verb) Pronunciation(noun) |
Wrong: INEC has pledged to provide a level playing ground for all political parties Correct:INEC has pledged to provide a level playing field for all political parties |
