PoliticsRe: I Am A Victim Of June 12 -IBB Says In Exclusive Interview by rasputinn(m): 12:35am On Nov 20, 2010
June 12 was not the only mistake he made.UNDP,world Bank and IMF traced the problem of Nigeria to IBB 8yrs in power, he is now claiming he would spend 4yrs to revamp what he spoiled for 8yrs.All that Babangida has to show for his over eight years in power in Nigeria, is private colossal wealth, and the edification of corruption in our body politics. The book, The Sink, by Jeffrey Robinson, an American writer, says it all about Babangida. “Of the $120 billion siphoned out of the Nigerian treasury into offshore accounts by dishonest politicians, $20 billion is allegedly traceable to IBB directly as president from 1985 to 1993.” The Wolfsberg Principles, an initiative of 11 banks and institutions across the world to fight serious international financial crimes, traced another $3 billion of our stolen money to Babangida’s accounts abroad, and $4.3 billion to Abacha’s. The World Bank and other international sources of information allege that his total loot from the Nigerian treasury is over $35 billion. Now he is threatening to use a fraction of that money to return to power and a figure of N400 billion has been mentioned by his cronies as his campaign chest.
The Gulf war oil windfall is Babangida’s often-referenced loot. Abacha set up a panel headed by the highly respected economist, Pius Okigbo, in October, 1994, to reorganize the CBN. Okigbo’s panel discovered that $12.2 billion of the $12.4 billion accruable from the Gulf War excess crude oil sales was frittered away or unaccounted for, through nebulous or phantom projects that could not be traced. Only $206 million was left in the account. According to Okigbo, “disbursements were clandestinely undertaken while the country was openly reeling with crushing external debt overhead. These represent, no matter the initial justification for creating the account, a gross abuse of public trust.my best advise for IBB is to return all the money he has stoled before getting people's support this will go a long way to revamp our economy he dose'nt need to be president before doing this.As we all know he cannot reproduce MKO,Gen.Yar'dua and Dele Giwa etc.Nigerian cannot forgive him for bringing our economy to this shamble situation and suffering in the midst of plenty, where average Nigerians are living below poverty level,90% of graduate have no job to do, as a student of international jusriprudence any Nigerian who campaign for his coming back as committed sin against humanity and God because he is speaking for his own selfish interest to the detriment of the people
This has got to be the best response

If Ogboru has to reach out to GEJ that he'll decamp to PDP after the elections,SO BE IT,we're desperate for liberation in Delta state from the shackles and bondage of Ibori/Uduaghan
PoliticsRe: E.k Clark Risks Expulsion From Pdp …as President Jonathan Insist It's Uduaghan by rasputinn(m): 4:51am On Nov 18, 2010
^^^
So many Deltans, including E.K Clark knew from the very first day Uduaghan emerged from that flawed PDP primaries at Ogwashi Uku in 07,due to the violent manipulation of the process by Ibori's armed thugs, that Uduaghan would be a puppet for Ibori(who brought the state to it's knees and sent the citizenry into squalor) and the state would be plunged into deeper mess for either 4 or 8 additional years post Ibori.Everybody knows how nightmarish the thought of this is,it's just that it's only folks like EK Clark that seem to have the balls to look Uduaghan in the face and tell him the truth:DELTANS CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER 4/8 YEARS OF BONDAGE/THIEVERY

Do you know how many times Uduaghan tried to placate/bribe the old man? Please stop talking about personality.Personality is what you talk about when it's Chimaroke Nnamani and Sullivan Chime,OBJ and Danjuma,Dora Akunyili and Bilbis etc

I believe that Edwin Clark's intentions are not sincere. This is a case of personal vendetta, try not to get yourself carried along in it. He's only out there to get his revenge on Uduaghan, and not necessarily interested in good fortunes of the state.

Even if he has any concrete evidence against Uduaghan why he's not a good governor, and yet his Poverty Development Party members are frustrating his plans to kick Uduaghan out, why cant he instead rally people around considering the icon image he enjoys in the state to vote in the right person he feels will make a more better governor in the state?

I think what Clark has against the former governor is more of a personality clash(which i feel may have resulted from the ex-gov not granting certain selfish privileges to Clark, never trust these politricksters), and as such faulting the ex-gov on the grounds of inefficiency would have commanded more sincerity on his part.
Then you don't know the thing that is between them
There has NEVER been a personality clash between the duo

If they are accusing EK Clark of anti-party activities, then he should kuku go full throttle on the matter and openly root for Ogboru. At least such scenario is not new in Delta, the present SSG,Ifeanyi Okowa once had to flex his muscle with the local kingmaker in his local government in 1999,one old and expiring politician by name Humphrey Iweriebor, whilst Okowa wanted to install his stooge as chairman of Ika North East(to guaranty his regular allocatrion from the local government coffers,Iweriebor said it had to be his man;for the same thievish reasons.By that time,Okowa was in line to be the running mate of James Ibori in the governoship election. It happened that Iweriebor was able to foist his man on PDP(being the state PDP chairman then)in response,Okowa asked his candidate to decamp to the ANPP,on whose platform he ran for and won the election.
Another case in point is that of senator Patrick Osakwe,at the time Ahmadu Ali was national chairman of PDP.He used his position as national chairman in 07 to to make his wife the party's senatorial candidate for Delta North to replace the sitting senator Osakwe,Osakwe decamped to accord party, the people of Delta North rallied behind him and he won,he got to the senate and decamped back to the PDP

I say EK Clark should back Ogboru for he seems to enjoy the support of not only the people of Delta central, but also North and South

We can't stand another 4 satanic years of Uduaghan,a rogue who has cornered EVERYTHING in the state for himself and his wife.Serving commissioners in Delta state cannot approve any budget higher than N2 million naira
