I think this is where omopena bewilderment orchestrated from. I’ll beckon on him to first know his capacity and what is obtainable for him daily. If he can gravitate towards grossing 35 to 40k daily? Then the fuel consumption of his apparatus must have been the culprit. Oh my god!
It's ignorance. A guy called 99.3 today and said that 5k fuel from MRS in Victoria Island only took him to ajah. A journey of less than 25k. He was complaining that the trip was 4k, that the fares should be raised.

To him it's normal. He feels cheated. But he's ignorant because he doesn't know what's obtainable for his fuel consumption, doesn't want to know, doesn't care. He'll rather complain. Just like they do here.

5k fuel will take me to ajah and back 3times if road is free.

Welz:
you're doing well boss..I don't think anyone has any issues with the money made but the amount of fuel used to get the said amount.
Amount of fuel used is subjective. It's your responsibility. You can decide to drive a v6 or a v8 or a Corolla/Camry with a dead fuel system. It's your business. You cannot dismiss the profits of a Kia Rio 1.4L manual transmission driver who says he uses 8k to gross 45k simply because your own car cannot achieve same mpg after grossing same 45k. Gross income is a constant. Fuel consumption isn't. If I tell you I use 12k fuel on average daily, you may doubt it out of ignorance.

The frequent "fuel used" conundrum always thrown up on this thread is laughable, especially when it's coming from a place of ignorance of the driver not knowing how much fuel his car is supposed to consume on specific KMs driven, who now tries to juxtapose his fuel consumption with a driver who knows exactly what his fuel consumption should be, and what exactly to do if his fuel consumption falls below manufacturer's standard average miles/km per gallon/L.

It's your job to know.

Depends on you. 40 - 45k in 13 hrs. For my and my crew.

If I do a driv-a-thon like I did on Sunday, 18 hrs was 82,400.

You can gross 45k a day on weekdays and 55k a day on weekends on indrive Every week.

That's approx 280k for 6 days or 335k for 7 days. It's the simplest thing ever. Been saying it for 2 months now.
An Indriver that grosses 280k in 7 days is better than a bolt driver grossing 300k in 7 days, like generalzod does. Told him severally he's wasting his time grossing 300k on bolt.

I did the maths on the group last week.

The salary earners on this thread have all been exposed either as drivers with salary work as side hustle because they gross more driving than thier salary, OR salary earners with cars on the platform with drivers delivering to them.

Before they advice you as usual with their rubbish, tell them to stop driving and face their salary work. Make we count scores properly.

It’s one thing to ask question and it is another thing to be entitled about it. Giving that we don’t know what tomorrow will bring with regards to political stability. The question should be

Can a driver make 30k daily using indrive?
If he works for 5 days can he make 150k?
If indrive remove 15k, they are both left with 135k. How much does fuel takes here and how much does he have to balance him. They should first start with what the driver makes weekly.

If the tool is ok, people are doing 200k weekly, I don’t think one can spend 100k on gas.
You can gross 45k a day on weekdays and 55k a day on weekends on indrive Every week.

Person leave home by 5 yesterday and got home 8pm after 15 hours, because his oga went home early. Else, he for reach house late. The only reason he even grossed 22k that he's showing off na because oga comot by 3. grin

Therefore on a normal day,

1. he doesn't get home by 8
2. If he gets home by 8 he doesn't gross 22k everyday he goes to answer oga sir for office.

Same yesterday, my first trip was 10:30am. My last trip was 10:56pm. After 12hrs and 30 mins

But somehow, na who use 15hrs work dey lecture una on mental health and una dey listen? grin Someone I sleep better than? grin

Okay. Make una analyze this one. If I gross 45k in less than 13hrs. How much do you think I can gross from 5am to 8pm, a range of 15hrs?

Full-time driver has more time to himself than you do, and grossed more than you do. Your salary inclusive.

Make una dey listen to their rubbish ehn... Dey play.

Cc : Dapotemi, Pearl

Good morning boss? When I read Dapotemi’s Post last night, the will to ask some questions entered my body, but I’m like you just got out of one fiasco, avoid whatever that may seem as misunderstanding that will lead to gbas gbos. Not until I read IFRSC comment and Pearl that some how align with my tots.

You load 22k yesterday and still able to keep your salary. Do you know some full time drivers didn’t even get to make that yesterday? How often do you get to make this? Do you know that where you live determines a lot? Gigo how much do you make in a week? These will help us reach some vital conclusion I get.

Pearl made some point where he hit on his peace of mind and this has been everything for person like me. I’m up when I’m up, gosh! Right now I don’t want to go through that stress of not willing but I have no choice. That’s what the 5am stuff does to me. I stand in the bathroom and all my teeth is feeling heavy. I have a friend that won’t leave office unless his boss is out of work. Even if he is in the office having some fun with friends, a dude ain’t going no where till oga leaves. Your own work provides you the chance to leave at 3, some don’t even know where they left their body after work and pressure. I am not saying anything loud. Advice is good, and I seriously like the direction is better than speed, but I want you to understand it is not that easy.

At IFRS, I have to quote you because you’ve said it all, let all do what is good for them. Skills can’t be underrated. School or not, one should be good at something. I want to believe you were a driver before living for UK. Do you know same UK is where we back home always got discouraged not to try. If 5m can get one to Uk nd there’s heaven there, I don’t think that is an issue for me. And where did I save such money from? Purely from driving. My point! I want to believe you must have seen people saying nothing in Uk, but anyway you pushed on. Life is deep and I still believe we are fighting different battles. Learnt mine when a friend of mine bought car at 20, deep within I tot he was stupid for using his first win to buy a car, till he bought 2nd, 3rd, 4th to luxuries. Sometimes I do feel we human worry so much over nothing, but at the end life is going to do what it is going to do anyway.

NB : I don’t pray to stay on this hustle for as long as I have spent anymore. For anyone that understands projectile.
God forbid anyone drives for ever. Your driving is a means to open other doors. While trying to use it to open other doors, be totally proficient about it for every stage of this life is a learning process.

5 years from now I'll still be posting on this thread, but from another level. My current job is preparing me for what lies ahead.

Data analyst, IT bla bla, tech Blu Blu are all courses a driver can afford if he sets his mind to it. None of those courses are above 500k

The problem is that people on this thread think hardworking drivers are stupid. When you think in an abjectly low mentality, I'll regard, reply and treat you on the level you have placed yourself.

I know what I want in life, and ehailing is giving it to me easily. I left paid employment, I resigned with my hands no be say anything happen. The total amount of ajo I do a week is more than 100k.
I don't answer to anybody, write query when I am late or get sent on errands that they can kidnap me,I don't wait for oga to leave office before I go home, I am in control of my life.
I can sleep at home for two weeks in a month and still make 2times the salary of a Lagos big boy.
Every endeavour has its own advantages and disadvantages, let's do whatever pays us, whatever is working for us and whatever makes us fulfilled and happy.
I will never pull down any hussle, whether corporate job or business, others should learn to do same.

Bro, you've never driven on ehailing before, that's why you keep repeating this line. That line is a lie.

Any car that does more than 15,000 miles a year is overflogged. ALL cars on ehailing do a minimum of 3000 miles a month or 36,000 miles a year, therefore ALL cars on ehailing are overflogged.

What you should preach is having a good maintenance routine. Cars love overflogging as long as you do PERIODIC PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE on them. Change oils when due, shock absorbers etc when due.

Ehailing cars are not Private cars. They don't need pampering. What they need is periodic maintenance so they don't breakdown when you least expect. If a private car changes shock absorbers once in 2 years, ehailing cars is 1 year. If a private car changes hub in 3 years, ehailing cars is 1. Don't give any prospective partner the impression that their cars on ehailing will be as shiny as Private cars or that they won't be scratched cos you're only setting yourself up.

Ask lagride drivers if what I just posted is a lie. They all collected their cars brand new with nylon. Ask them how far. Or look at the state of the ones on the road. If a brand new car takes such beating, what do you expect from 15 - 20 year old cars everyone uses on ehailing. Pampering?

Dey play

So I'm an uber driver today and they are forcing me to look towards getting a N1m job, where will I get the funds or time to go to get the required education for such jobs when i have a family to feed? The Uber driving failures on this thread refuse to accept. They'll rather heap their failures on everyone, then call people making a headway liars. Also try to discourage others from even trying, just because they themselves failed.

They always sound so stupid. It's like someone who travelled abroad and failed abroad trying to stop another person from going abroad because they themselves failed, saying that there are too many challenges abroad. That's how foolish these people look.

I would have ignored your post as it contains offensive words, I don’t like responding to such posts.
Where in my post was it stated that the complains were for people to spoon-feed them?
And those are against the driving have only asked people to look beyond driving. I was doing great before buhari happened, moved on by driving on Uber. I knew what I said when I said I wasn’t lazy, I drove beyond 70 hrs weekly while I was on the platform, but my point remains - the income doesn’t equate the efforts put on the job.

And your post regarding my traveling shows envy.

PS: I didn’t know it was you cheerful, if not, I wouldn’t have responded to your post.
It was after responding to you I went through your profile.
The income doesn't equate the effort YOU put in the job. Speak for yourself. You no Sabi no mean say your fellow man no Sabi or no go Sabi. You're in the group of people who have zero passion for driving, but only did it because you heard there was money in it. Of course you'll fail. You never believed you'd make it. It's like a fish in water overhearing discussions of monkeys on a tree on how they make money climbing trees, and decided to leave the water in hopes of making money climbing trees... It will FAIL!

My post regarding your travelling was an analogy. It's not my fault that you couldn't decipher the analogy but instead decided to throw in envy. LOL. There is nothing to envy about anyone that ran away from hardship in their own country to go start a new hustle abroad. You never make am. Just a hustler like the rest of us. Nothing dey your body to envy. Just die such thoughts. You no reach.

I'm inevitable. I don't hide behind quotes or memes.

Hehehe dey play.
Look at it this way;
Someone was motivated by dashboards and resigned from his job, remember he wasn’t told the challenges involved, only the earnings.
There was somehow that was advised to drop his 80k job which is very understandable wasn’t enough but letting people know the challenge involved is very important. He started having challenges within weeks up to the moment he regretted leaving his 80k job- this happened right on this job. But the people that advised him left him to his fate.

Making it look as if it’s a bed of roses is wrong and those who complain that the job is not ok for them aren’t wrong. Different people with what they desire.
I wasn’t a lazy person when driving but the income didn’t equate the effort exacted on it. So you should expect someone like me to complain.
...but you're a full grown man with a penis, how do you expect to be spoonfed everything at your age? The Canada you've escaped to, are you expecting everything to be rosy and exactly as you have been told?

When challenges come in Canada, will you complain and look for who to blame in the travel section where you got your information?
