Nice post but this fear I'm talking about is not just exam phobia alone. Because even the adults and the aged ones also have one or two things that they fear and worry about. Is anyone truly happy on earth with nothing to worry about at all
Now I understand why this phrase was added to the Lord's prayer 'Let thy kingdom come' .
And truly I tell you, I really can't wait for His kingdom to come (that does not mean I want to die though )

Hahahaha.... I understand your position sir. it boils down my aforementioned post, "INADEQUACY" .A married man will worry and go scrawny if he can't Cater for his household, A married woman will go doolally if she can't give birth after years of matrimonial jubilee, a youth will lose every scintilla of confidence if he fails UTME three times. All these inadequacies and many more are the fulcrums of WORRY from which fear takes a source. Humans in their quest for an utopian world where everything is perfect and where our beads of sweat taste like honey will feel inadequate when thins don't go well hence the fear and worry.

Why does fear always find its way in our lives?
Can one be perfectly happy?
Having no worries and sorrows at all.
We are always uncertain of the future.
Uncertain about what's going to happen next.
It seems like uncertainty has now become our only certainty.
Before I wrote my jamb, I was scared of failure.
And when the results were released, I was hoping my fears and worried would be wiped out because I passed. And yeah. They really were wiped away. But just after that, new fears and worries developed again. It was now the fear of passing my post utme.
Post utme came and went, I excelled. My fears died.
And new fears came up again. Now it was the fear of admission, I was worried. Day and night I stayed awake. But after the wait, admission list came out and I was admitted.
Now I felt relieved and glad that I've crossed all hurdles and there was nothing more to be scared of not until when I went through my post utme slip one afternoon and noticed that my passport was slightly tilted(and I heard uniben does not joke with passport issues )
A new fear Grew again!

My question is, is there really true happiness on earth. Is anyone really happy with life and all.
Is there anyone without worries?
Or maybe fear and worries are part of what makes us humans.
Cos I know even after If I have a successful clearance, and I become a bonafide student of the university of Benin, A NEW FEAR IS STiLL GONNA COME UP.
Obviously we live in a world of fear and uncertainty.

This is rhapsodic! you know, Our fears and uncertainties sometimes, stem from our inadequacies. and sometimes, from mere paranoia. Examination fears come from two major factors which are "inadequate preparation" and "inexperinece" someone writing a unified exam like UTME for the first time IS bound to nurse certain elements of fear no matter how infinitesimal it maybe. Also, A poor preparation can also torpedo self-confidence, that's when we feel there are certain core topics we hadn't covered and might be detrimental to our successes. at this juncture, even God will go on holiday when we call on him to help us for an exam we hadn't prepared. and at other times, it is mere paranoia (the baseless or rootless fear). Even after clearance, You might fear of "failing the courses as you are new to them and might not be exposed to many factors required to excel". in all, Feed your mind with the past glories of those who had scaled all odds and had plied the same route unscathed or unbroken". come, let's plant Faith in our hearts and see how 'tree' it would grow.
