When I was filling the form I just took it as my second choice not knowing anything about the school it was latter I heard that the school accepts second choice and I started hearing very funny storries about his years admission when it was already too late to change the school. I prepared and went for the post ume and when the result was out I performed well (God's grace) but alas when the list came out my name was not there just because the school only admitted 1000+ due to its bad administrators. (I learnt my lessons well).

Its advisable but you have to choose different courses. Your first choice course must be your most preferred and your second course will be more preferred.

In case you neva know before admission this year will be:

60:40 for science and art (good news for science students)
general cut-off mark
40%, 35% and 25% for Merit, Catchment and Educationally less developed states.
NUC new policy

so be wise in making selection. best of lucks.

it might be possible, but I will strongly advise you get UTME instead of that. This admission is very competitive, just 1 thousand plus will be admitted, so you you think changing course will work? Not for a school like oou, pls

Change of course is no longer possible till when the admission has been offered. the cut-off mark for each department depends on the performance of the candidates who applied for that department. so the cut-off mark for each department favoured only a few number of students who will be admitted. The only thing to do now is to pray and obtained the UTME form. If admitted you wouldn't mind leaving the exam.

UTME registration is not easy this time because of the population. So no one should register later. remember its closing on the 29th. If you had thought of registering as late as 26th or their about you might be disappointed because of congestion. Luv u all.

One thing we all have to do now is to get information about the school we are applying for so as not to face the same problem next session. Its so unfortunate that the 30,000 candidates that sat for the examination only 1000 will be admitted. God bless OOU for a job well done.

With the way things are going. OOU admission is never going to be fair at alllllllllllllllllllll.

Perhaps the guys just said what was in his mind and backed it up with 'A man that works with JAMB' Its going to be very strict but that they have less candidate; I'm not sure.

Any how sha @Yommy247 can you please help us ask the man what the cut-off mark for this year's utme is going to be? i.e is that of Universities going to be as high as 250? please I'll be expecting your post.

If they are releasing the cut-off mark now i then have to wonder when they will start shortlisting before talking about releasing. (very bad administration in oou). Ogun State Government had better sack from the VC to the least lecturer and all the non academic staff so that new blood can handle the school cuz I think the present administrators are tired and sick of the job.

Admission into Nigerian Universities has turned into something else. I can see clearly that OOU is trying to do something too good to our liking. Corruption every where.

We all just have to wait since its beyond our power to get the admission list released today.

Have you tried logging in as a registered user and the options it gives? If its going to take you doing the registration again. DO just to get your slip.
