Younger folks wouldn't know.
But I am old enough to see his dance of shame under IBB and Abacha.
He did not do well. Go to Ife hinterland and see what he achieved with his purported influence.
He did not do well. Truth must be said.
Seconded

I live in Ife for some years and to be candid the Oba didn't do much for his people

You have no point. Some Nigerians see government work as one that could be done with a care-free attitude. The notice has been released. Any person found guilty should claim that they're caught unaware or being witch-hunted.
That happens when an organization can't provide a verifiable ground for sacking their workers but with this system computer record when you get to work, when you log in to start work and when your closing for the day. Moreover, if any organization intend to move forward they won't care what gullible Nigerian says rather they will concentrate on showing results.

Why in the world are you guys so full of sentiments, looking for faults where there is clearly none!? Your idea of raising sentiments by tying this to Buhari makes absolutely no sense, but only tells of you as short-sighted and vindictive. No where in the world do you go late to paid work. No where.
Please follow the chain of argument from the beginning.

Am not the type of person who abuse or raise dust over nothing.

Apologize later.

Can you resume in your place of work in Shell, Chevron, MTN, Glo, Etisalat, bank or any privately owned firm after the time of resumption because you're in the 21st century?
Please don't misunderstand me.
Am not against any good measure to cob lateness, what am saying is there are better way to get it done not WAI decree of the 1980s

Bringing back the WAI of the 1980's one of whose cardinal points was punctuality to work, I love this. If you've ever experienced how lateness by members of staff of any LGA headquarters adversely affects, you'll appreciate this move.
This's 21st century, moreover, that measure is only executable in a military gov't. I still believe if we allow technocrats to handle the affair of government cooperation we can achieve desired level of discipline.

By law of nature, when you grow older, u go senile. The law of diminishing return is a must that can't be shelved when u talk of old age...

The only time this becomes a thing to attend to is when it sets in when it is least expected: like the late 50's.

Gbenga Daniel, the once relevant and best governor in Nigeria has been reduced to nothing and a mere attention seeker like Osoba. The law of diminishing returns clearly sets over him at the least expected time, and worst still, many people are still glad it did.

The idiot should try and stay relevant..

I understand it is painful when no one wants to listen to you, but trying to be heard by hitch-hiking on the wings if the famous is an all new dimension if lowness!

I am glad you even recognize him as an elder statesman, let us hope for your sake, someone will even remember your name by the time you are 60!

Get a life, o daniel..
May God bless u

He cannot and can never reach the height and peak chinua achebe reached.
Before you quote me, please google when he won that "lucky" nobel price.
What height if I may ask?

That's hard work not luck.

understand this

B O D M A S

no bracket, no division whats next? lets do the multiplication.

3 + (3 x 3) - 3 + 3

3 + 9 - 3 + 3

So whats next lets do the addition

12 - 6 = 6

the answer is 6
3 + 9 - 3 + 3 can't be 6

If u introduce bracket it means

(3 + 9) - (3 - 3) = 12

inasmuch as this is a very good move, I will say it is at a very wrong time.
the issue of insurgency should be combated with all alacrity. buy foreign weapons, totally crush boko haram. when all these are done. when there is peace and tranquility in the north then we can now start talking about making weapons locally.
God Bless PMB.
This is the right time and what is the assurance that this country will crush terrorism entirely. If we start our development now in 10years to come we can be independent as far as basic weapon is concern.

watch how he will convert to christianity very soon. I am aware that if an Igbo man converts to Islam, its about the money but for the Yorubas...i simply cant tell of the confusion.

and if you investigate his family, there is Islamic lineage or father is Christian and mother is core muslim

I have discovered that Buhari lacks real integrity as he wants people to believe. Buhari condemned Gej for approaching Nigerian neighbours to assist in fighting bokoharam, but as soon as Buhari took over from Gej he has embarked on same mission to Cameroun Niger and Chad. He had even gone ad far ad US for assistance Buhari condemned fuel subsidy under Gej calling the idea a ruse and conduit to syphon Nigeria's money but same Buhari recently stated that subsidy will not be removed. Hevis equally retaining it. Integrity is not about corruption alone it equally include standing by ones belief, making statements and standing by it. Buhari lacks these qualities and so. lacks real integrity
Mr man who borrow you phone to type this thrash. Please provide link to your thrash then we can discuss. Else, I will assume you lack integrity nutrient in your lineage. angry
