rudyislife:I applied under SVP, I submitted on June 17th |
Just got a mail from my Case Officer to go for my medical school........I guess that's a good thing.......this wait tho |
ayobamiakinrind:Ok bro. So what's your plan concerning the new visa requirements. I don't seem to know much about it. You can send me a mail oladejiray@gmail.com |
ayobamiakinrind:Ok, now I understand. I had to take that risk. Due to the new policy they started in July, I didn't want any issues regarding account statement or tax records. and my agent also adviced me to submit to avoid any issues. My application was SVP and I had all my documents complete. What do you think can happen now? Or what can I do? |
ayobamiakinrind:You don't seem to understand. I have already applied. I just hope its not too soon tho. |
Goodday guys, I just want to understand some things. First of all I'm not in a hurry. I submitted my application on 17th of June SVP class (though I included my acc statement). I got a mail after that from teleperformance 2 days after acknowledging the reciept of the application. My resumption is still in Feb, 2017. But I submitted the application to escape the new SSVP ish. Now I want to know, should I can contact them if don't hear from them soon? I have no reason to rush. But SVP class should not take more than 8 weeks at most. Can I contact them after then? |
BKings:I don't think you can defer twice tho. Mine was deferred once, told them I needed time to process my visa and all. I actually submitted at teleperformance on Friday to make sure I get my SVP. But you can try with the advice of your agency. Reapplying might take a whole new procedure due to the new policy starting July 1st. My agency told me schools are now more careful to give out offers now. I don't know their reasons, but they require lots of documents and evidences this time around, and it might take time. But if I may ask, why would you want them to defer for you again? |
Hi guys, Pls how much do we need to pay at teleperformance for SVP? And what time do they open? I got there late today but I need to know when I can meet them tomorrow. |
bait:Not yet bro, I deferred my admission due to short notice of tuition payment. Now to resume in February, 2017. Tuition paid now, COE received. Now waiting for the right time to submit my visa app. It's ACU (Melbourne Campus), nursing |
shinerpoly:I think it's Part C sir. Kindly confirm |
Cottyekundayo:By God's grace, you will get a miracle. But for every other person, let's try to learn our lesson from this. It is advisable to pay early to avoid issues like this. My resumption date is still February, 2017. I paid my tuition since January this year. Though all fingers are not equal, but I'm sure we can try to avoid the rush. Collected my COE months ago. Just chilling now, will decide when to apply for visa. Cos I have plenty of time. Time is money pals |
Hi house, I need your advice. I have paid my tuition and collected my COE, but because of money, I was planning to leave my wife behind till I can send an invite for her. But now I changed my mind and I wish to pay her OSHC insurance to enable her process the visa with me. Pls kindly advice me on how to go about it? Do I have to send the money then ask them to update my COE? Advice needed ASAP pls |
NUkachukwu:You can go to a lawyer to help you with the certification stuff or go to the high court at Ikeja. The yellow card is easy to get at the ministry of health office at the airport Ikeja, you just need to take your passport along with you, you can take a photocopy along with you plus 1,000 naira. As for the medical school, I have not done mine, but I think you can book for it prior to the application if you are sure of your documentation. The gurus in the house can contribute |
Hi everyone, I was granted admission for BSc Nursing at ACU Melbourne Campus, I am currently awaiting my COE but my start dats is still Feb 2017. My question goes thus 1. Is it advicable to start my visa application soon? I actually felt like starting it soon to give time for other preparations. 2. My Sponsor is my aunt who doesn't have the same surname as mine anymore due to marriage, how do I handle this in case of sponsorship letters and statement of account? 3. My wife and I wished to apply for visa together but I want to do mine first, then invite her later. Please how do I do this and how reliable is it? These are my questions for now. Will bring more as they arise. Kindly advice on these |
Good morning guys, this morning I feel like sharing with you what I have gathered as a result of personal experience. After traveling through the length and breadth of the country. I have a compilation of the different types of people you meet in a luxury bus. 1. The Religious one. They are mostly not well dressed, holding a bible or a Quran, when they step into the vehicle they either say 'blood of Jesus' or they say 'Bisimilai'. Then the Christian starts the trip with prayers without considering the religion of others in the vehicle. 2. The Geek. This is usually a guy. He enters the bus with his gadgets, usually more than one. With his headphone on, he doesn't usually talk to anyone till the end of the trip. He checks outside the bus at intervals to know how far they have gone with the trip, then he goes back to the game he is playing or whatever he is doing 3. The caring parent. This category is simple, she is always on the phone. She calls home to check on her children, 'what are you cooking'. 'You guys should make sure you switch off all the gadgets in the house'. 'Check the whole house and make sure you lock the house before you sleep'. 4. The business guy. He is always on the phone, making different calls, from the apprentices to his suppliers and to his customers. Most of the time he is tracking the sales at the shop to make sure the guys in the shop don't swindle him. Other times he is discussing price with the customers...'Oga that brake pad na 15,000 last price' 5. The working class. He/she is either on leave or going on an official assignment. He is well dressed, suited up or on corporate wear. Sometimes (s)he is on the phone gossiping with someone In the office about their boss. 6. The reader. Though our reading culture has drastically dropped, we tend to pick up our favorite novels to pass time in the bus. This category involves the people that go into the vehicle, put on their earpieces and read their novels, most of them don't finish the novel in the bus, don't be surprised if they don't read it again till their next trip. 7. The glutton. This is so common! Might be a lady or a guy. He/she enters into the vehicle, and starts buying food right from the park. Madam, give me one lacasera and 2 gala. Then he buys 3 eggs, then he buys plantain chips at the next stop, then some 30 mins later, he buys bread and akara 8. The runs girl. This kind of lady is common to find on Abuja trips, they wait all week for 'Ahlaji' to give them a call, then they hop into the bus to meet him for a 'nice time' in a fancy hotel in exchange for money not enough to mend their already retched life.....I no abuse them o 9. The Casanova. This usually is a guy, he enters the bus looking to sit next to the prettiest lady on the bus. Sometimes they get along and talk all through the trip as if they had known each other before, sometimes the lady gives her boyfriend a call....which is an absolute turn off for him 10. The professional driver. He is not actually a professional, he owns his own car, but can't drive it through the long distance, or he can't fuel it. So he takes the bus to get him to his destination but complains each time the driver makes any error, sometimes he doesn't complain about his own driver, he complains about other drivers Kindly add yours |

19 year old Nigerian Harvard student Saheela Ibraheem has been recognized as one of the World's 50 smartest teenagers in 2015. Saheela, a neurologist undergraduate in Harvard was invited to the White house where she met with the Obamas who celebrated her great feat last Thursday Feb. 26th. She was one of those celebrated by the US government to mark 'The Black History Month". Saheela got admitted into the Ivy League school at the age of 15 and at the time of her admission was also offered a letter of acceptance by 13 other top colleges in the United States, including six Ivy League institutions. She however chose Harvard, making her one of the youngest students to ever attend the university. Saheela will be graduating in May this year. President Obama while celebrating her described her as a wonderful lady. "There are a lot of teenagers in the world. Saheela is like one of the 50 smartest ones. That’s pretty smart. And she’s a wonderful young lady. She’s like the State Department and the National Institute of Health all rolled into one. And we are so proud of your accomplishments and all that lies ahead of you. And you reflect our history. Young people like you inspire our future.” he said According to Saheela, passion is what's made her attain such academic feat. “If you are passionate about what you do, and I am passionate about most of these things, especially with math and science, it will work out well,” she said According to her mother, Saheela had always been independent as a child and had never wanted anyone to help her with her homework “She’s like always independent. I never get to help with her homework because she’d say ‘it’s my work mommy, not yours.’ she said Congrats to Saheela...

Another block buster press release from Ekiti state governor. Read below... Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose has called on Nigerians, especially Northern leaders to save the All Progressives Congress (APC) , Major General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd) from former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu and his cabal in the APC. The governor, who said he was worried that Tinubu and his cabal were pushing Buhari too much because of their selfish interests, pleaded that; "Nigerians should appeal to Tinubu and his cabal to allow Buhari attend properly to his health." Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor said; "since last week Thursday, that Buhari appeared for less than two hours at the Chatham House where he said his doctors certified him fit and that he was returning to Nigeria for the 'final onslaught on the PDP,' he has simply disappeared from public glare." He queried; "Isn't it strange that someone who is contesting an election in 28 days time could afford to stay outside the country for going to two weeks? "Buhari confessed that he actually saw his doctors, why did the APC cabal lie that he never visited any hospital, even going to the ridiculous and criminal level of using pictures taken in Abuja to authenticate claim that Buhari had a television interview in London? "Like I have maintained, the same cabal that were involved in the Yar'Adua saga are also involved in the packaging of Buhari and Nigerians must save the man from these people, who are only interested in using him to assume power."

Earlier today, MI took to twitter to write that he was disrespected at Quilox nightclub (see that here). The management of the club have now released a statement explaining their side of the story. Find their press statement below... The recent tweets by Rapper MI has come to our attention and we found it necessary to address the issue. Quilox had a contract with Live&Unplugged on February 28th between 10pm-12am. Live&Unplugged contracted M.I as their artist for the night. At 12am on the said day, M.I was still performing and majority of our customers were complaining and demanding the DJ as we had other events planned for the night. In the process, some customers left. However, the management honoured M.I's presence by giving him an additional 30mins and informed his management that he would need to stop at exactly 12.30am. At 12.34am, he was still playing. Our management at this point was forced to take a decision at 12.45am and let the DJ start his set for the night. The 1st song he played was M.I - Bad Belle to show no disrespect. Again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Quilox however is a business that adheres to it's agreed terms of contract and respects professionalism. We accord all clients and customers due respect irrespective of class or status. In order to resolve issues quickly we have a standard complaints procedure which involves contacting management directly or via email. As we look forward to continue to render the best of services, we hope to avoid scenarios like this one, but in case any complaints are to be made, kindly direct them to info@clubquilox.com. We'll be sure to respond promptly. Best regards. Quilox Management. |
