Melaninkween: Good morning house, has anyone gotten an admission for nursing at any level in Australia from Nigeria?
Everyone knows a nursing degree is a one chance skill to the abroad even if you have intentions of returning to improve your country is this adverse to a GTE requirement?
I have a non nursing health bachelors from the UK and I am thinking of going for a graduate entry nursing program in July 2020.
Any advice from anyone, preferably one who has gotten an admission to study nursing in Australia.
Cheers and may more visa grants happen as the year ends and the year ahead.
Amen! Hi, I just completed my BSc nursing from ACU, got the admission straight from Nigeria after a degree. I have to admit things have changed and might be more difficult to achieve. However, you could still get it done with a very convincing GTE statement focused on the reason for change in career path. Doesn't have to be true.....just convincing and believable. Alternatively, you could further with a masters in your career path, get into Australia and find your way from there. The only issue here is that it might be a bit of a challenge to change (I du=ont have much experience regarding that), but you can find you way into other courses with PR pathway. Good luck |

adiukuonyebuchi: Hello House i am Adiuku Onyebuchi by name, i am new here. I was denied by Canadian Embassy yesterday reason being that i am above 30years and i have degree in Project management with 2.2 result and was going for Post graduate diploma in Business sustainability management. I was told i was suppose to go for masters direct not going for a 2 year diploma program. I have asked for a refund of my Tuition fee, Thank God i got admission in Australia in Maters in Human Resource Management in Edith Cowan College that will start with a post graduate qualifying course for four mouths starting in February 2018. and i am meant to pay AUD11600 for the four months course before starting the masters in July 2018. My sponsor is ready to pay AUD13,000 which will cover the four months course fee and Health insurance for two years and he is ready to give me statement of account with 10million as balance and give every other document as my sponsor but my problem is that he said he is not ready to pay any other fee for me when i start my masters in Australia which will start by July with tuition fee of AUD40,000 for two years. The school has told me that i can pay AUD10,000 for every period(four months per period), Please can i take up this offer, will i be able to work to pay such school fees for myself? I need help because my sponsor has already given me the AUD13,000 to pay to the school. I need suggestions please. Thank you NB he said he will give me a BTA of AUD5000 and also by flight ticket if i get visa. What do i do? Hello Adaiku, i would like to advice you as i have spent about eight months here now and i understand what you are talking about. My tuition is 12,800 per semester which can be hard sometimes for a new comer. You have a limit of 40 hour per fortnight which makes it a heinous task to pay your bills accompanied by the expectation of saving for your tuition. Australia is a very good place but you spend as you earn. Having said that, I would advice you to process another admission with a course on the SOL list (which almost guarantees your stay after study) , the tuition for your masters should be around 15,000 per semester for a relatively cheaper school, which might be difficult at first but you will stabilize with time. You still have time to apply for February, 2018 entrance. I wish you the best in your quest for success. Cheers |

Hi guys, I'm heading to ACU Melbourne campus in February, but I saw something about the place this morning that gave me a little concern. someone was complaining that lecturers give preferential treatments to Australian students and deliberately failing international students. he also said the international office does nothing about it. I don't know if this is just a lazy student talking, but I need someone in that campus to tell me the true picture. I also want to know if its possible to change between schools or campuses. Replies would be appreciated. thanks |

President99: Pls house, should I include my wife in my visa application? what is negative or positive implication it has? what about other family members? Personally, I feel you don't need it yet. just include her in your application. Will help your cause as your home hold or so. Just put the marriage certificate in your application and invite her later. My opinion tho |

nellynnemio: hi, have you gone for the medical test? How much does it cost to get one done at Fatayi's Clinic? Yea, done it. Usually, it costs about 45k (apart from the chest xray fees). But if u are going for courses like nursing, u would have to spend another 18k extra. Hope that helps |
