The two things I spot on this post.

1, the foundation is not deep for an upstairs.

2, it's always advising to beam the whole floor for a story building.

This help balance the house from land slide and cracks. If tomorrow and eventually anything happens to the soil the building will develop cracks all over.

Anything upstair need to sit on beam.
