PoliticsRe: No 'banker Of The Year' Award This Year? by rbn: 2:43pm On Dec 18, 2009
Redman44:
Our banks and bankers do not deserve any award this year and for years to come, until the Nigerian Banking industry is restructured. Our banks have failed to boost entrepreneurship in the country. They kept lending money to glorified 'billionaires' who ruined them with the EFCC stepping in to recover the borrowed funds. Don Sanusi has done his job. He should be left alone to continue his revolution. We do not have a banking industry in Nigeria at the moment. Psshwww,
True talk. All the sectors need to be sanitised too.

PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Soludo Is Pdp Candidate - Supreme Court by rbn: 11:54am On Dec 18, 2009
otukpo:
The only reason am happy with this judgement is that it is going to finally bury the remains of Uba brothers 10ft down.

Uba political dynasty shld be dead and shldn't be any hope of revival for it.

Now i know, the contest is between Ngige and Soludo.
Ngige is good but Soludo is not too bad an alternative.
I agree with you. Uba needs to be dealt with, imagine thinking he can always have it his way. As of Soludo, i dont know why he decided to go into polities, just hope PDP will not rubbish him.

PoliticsRe: President Can Rule Nigeria From Saudi Arabia —aondoakaa by rbn: 12:10pm On Dec 17, 2009
The attorney general should have requested for Nigeria to be moved to Saudi Arabia. Nigerians are suffering today because of people like this.
I pity the president and wish him well but he should be wise enough to know that these people are only fighting for their own, maybe selfish interest.
CultureRe: Traditional Marriage Issues? by rbn: 11:57am On Dec 17, 2009
Traditional marriage is not compulsory, it depends on the people involved. You can choose not to have a party only make sure you give the family all their requirements in terms of bride price and other stuff. This can be done quietly. The party is what makes it too expensive. I am from the south east and i know it is not compulsory where i come from. I dont know about other places. I will suggest you make proper enquiry from the good elders not the greedy ones.
