A guy from PH bought the car , I have a dealer as a friend so he told me someone needed it
I was going to sell her but not soon , but I just had to let go because ts difficult to sell 9ja used cars with high value
It can take up to 6months self

I finally sold off this ride my Almighty Dodge Charger
She has been nice and a savior of all times
being there for me during the good and bad , very rugged
i wasn't really happy selling her but i just had too

All this layman's speech about v6 makes me vex most times i feel like hiting someone

I have never owned an i4 car in my life I use
a 3.4L Chevrolet Venture
6.1l v8 dodge charger(I Sold her last week)
and a 3.5L Honda pilot
i have been driving does cars for a minimum of 3years each
and guess what i have never opened the engine before

change oil, plugs , brake pads, battery replacements and kick starter, Tyre Replacements thats all

Common tranny issues never show up self

And I stay in Nigeria am I an alien?

The mech tells you to replace a part u told him to find a solution or manage/patch it ? You are toying with you car ? Don't worry when the car toys with you , you will hate yourself

U buy wrong oil of #2700 for him because he said the recommended is #7000 ... Smh

The engine gets messed up and u say d mech is a novice

A brand new i4 camry engine can get ruined in less that a year

later we talk about fuel economy some nigerians are so stingy some will even say the corolla or prius is still thirsty they don't want to pay a dime for anything even if you offer them 100MPG

Cut your cake according to your size if you can afford a v12 my brother buy it

if na i4 you fit buy pls buy too

On this nairaland i have seen alot
Converting a dodge caravan v6 engine to a 1998 corolla's i4 engine
Swapping a 5.7L Pivot v8 sequoia engine for a 1996 camry i4 engine

changing a 2008 passat from Fuel Injection to A Carburetor
I used to think people only swap engines for a higher one until i met my fellow Nigerians

And don't even blame our mechanic's oh, the car owner is one of the main culprit

car was okay and running well ,i covered a lot of distance, I wanted to climb a bridge , then a sudden loss of power came, I got of the bridge safely without hiting any car,
decided to crank her , but no sign of life, I checked the battery it was charged , then rain came , I had to push my heavy Chevrolet in the rain with some road side boys because of my oga Them Road safety and lastma ,I no fit pay free money to anybody

bottom line i lost the business i was going out for that morning

Bros!u were right n u might b one of those who maintain their cars to da best.I can tell u frm my experience that 80% of those driving cars with v6 engine can't maintain them.My opinion is just based to save d op frm stress that comes while driving v6 cars.

Do u also know the population of USA is twice that of Nigeria. U also realize there are about 5 times more cars over there than here. Also they take record of every auto crash no matter how little it is. Compare to here where someone bashes ur car and everything ends there without the police even taking record. So do the maths.

Why would anyone spend $3,000 to repair a car that is valued at $4,000 when insurance can pay u for ur car and auction it as salvaged? A car that can be repaired in Nigeria for $500 would probably cost $2,000 upwards in USA because they use genuine parts and cost of labor is high.

am not talking about cost of repairs

but do you know the amount of car crashes In america everyday, amounts of created salvage vehicles per day
compare it with Nigeria
