The car won't start or kick no sign of life but all electronics work, my scanner even connects to it and scans vehicle but engine won't roll, a mech decided to switch on the ignition and kick it from the kick starter under the hood, the engine rolled but didn't start , many said its the ecu Chevrolet venture 2003 Vin: 1GNDV03E33D166611 3.4Liter 3400 SFI V6 Engine All wheel drive 4-SPD auto Tranny i'd like to know the right ecu for this car and the price for it if possible  |

Car running without battery can cause an ECU fry, wrong battery connection/disconection procedure also, water breaching any wire terminals can cause short circuit which can kill ECU, Nawa oh All dis surprise car issues, Anyone who can get exact ecu for me will be appericiated Including price Car details is above including Vin Thank you Very much Lomomike and Gazzuzz I appreciate |

@ bolded, ECU = fried. Sorry bro, buy another ecu. Huh okay But what can cause An ecu to get fried , since there was no wrong connection made or short circuit , or providing wrong amount of voltage to the vehicle Can it just get fried on its own |

Hello bro, although I'm not conversant with Honda/Pilot systems, I'd take a general DIY work lane in helping you. Your VTM-4 is a 4 wheel traction system which locks your vehicle in 4 Wheel mode in speeds less than 30km/h (hope I'm right). Some cars traction control has a connection with engine your Pilot is one of such cars, if the system detects a slip, it cuts power to engine, engage the traction and reduce the speed of the slipping wheel. Your VTM-4 system has a connection with EGR system. 1st I'd like you to try the DIY in the link I provided.

Either your coolant level is low or idle air control valve is faulty. funny enough idle air control valve was changed when i bought this car toks August 27 2014 because of fluctuating rpm. Coolant is up to guage |

Another MB zapping thread-epic pics by the way. I feel most of these cars are tuned by tuning garages and snapped for promotional use. Tuned by highly professional Garages tho most of them are owned by normal rich guys and some by the UAE Guys about 50% and some are show cars |

Ecu is fried. for Real  what can be the cause of this. no wrong connection was made or short circuit . But the car can be scanned and the dash lights work including all car electronics, it just won't kick currently at work ,i will make enquiries for the ECU later in the day Thanks |
