Being a car dealer and a full time importer. Clearing a vehicle over the past few months have been hectic and a lot has changed. The customs themselves aren't making the matter easy. you can clear a car today and the next day the rate will be higher.

I blame the agent for not following the agreement he had with his client. If he had paid the surface duty which his client told him to pay there won't be any problems and he won't be held if the vehicle gets impounded.

Another bitter truth which is hard to swallow is that, no matter how much the customs give you as valuation to pay on a recent vehicle 011 above, some of their colleagues on the road will still claim is underpayment just to Rip the vehicle owner. Unless you want to pay the Full duty( Extremely Rare) which is on the book which might be higher than the purchase price of the vehicle including the shipping fee .

Sallaum lines has showed me pepper.
I bought an es350 on iaa and shipped via sallaum lines , the vehicle was rammed at the front and the whole front end was damaged (bumper and charger headlamps) + stolen key fob and engine cover .

I have a 2019 Accord shipped via sallaum.
Vehicle arrived on 20dg01 lo and behold the key Fob is stolen .

Truth is when shipping with Sallaum lines , Avoid clearing through offdock terminals (claron and classic), duty might be favorable but vehicle will get physical damages during transfer %100.

If your vehicle is also a non starter be rest assured the vehicle will be damaged on all angles, this is guaranteed



In cases of stolen keys, if the vehicle is a Runner you can file a claim , but if its a non starter or forklift , kindly forget about it.

My advice if you have a forklift vehicle, kindly hide the keys inside the vehicle , if the vehicle is a non starter or Run and drive , you should be able to get a claim for the key

I had spent 61k to fix the Camry key sensor and exactly 100k to buy the accessories stolen from the first Venza, what nonsense inside Sallaum yard for God sake.

Now, second Venza right inside their with rear lights gone and possibly key sensor.

Please, I need help and ready from litigation if that's the last option.

From the onset in the design and development stage of that vehicle, they knew the engine size and out put, and the max load it should safely and easily carry. It's all factored and calculated in its design.

That vehicle engine is just okay for its shell and load it's gonna bear and will do 140km/h without much efforts.

Is the engine stellar in performance? No!
Is it gonna get an award for best performance? No!
Will it get the work done? Yes!

Forget about online numbers.
I’ve used the vehicle for a long time in both configurations 2.7 and 3.5
The 4cyl acceleration and performance drops when loaded with passengers including the 3rd row.

But the 2.7L has no advantage over the V6 Fwd. They are very similar in mpg.

I've used both
Avoid the 2.7L it's a little underpowered and not as durable as the V6
Go for the 3.5L V6

That is not true, that Bruhm bought by the person wasn't good doesn't mean any of their products aren't okay. Also, saying that only Haier Thermocool or LG freezers and fridges are the best in market is equally not truw because I bought this new product, SnowSea Freezer and I'm enjoying it.

How is your experience with this freezer now?
