my cel light came on
i decided to scan it my self this morning

i got this codes ,

what can be the cause, and the possible solution

Possibly bad oil pressure, perform an oil pressure test.
It could also be triggered by a dodgy oil filter.

i think its from the cables you can diagnose it by checking the rear part of the main unit,
or call a car stereo techie to check it for you

Thanks so much. If only our mechanics can have access to service manuals, they will be better. I remember the mechanic who worked on the crankshaft struggling to align the intake and exhaust camshafts. I suggested the process in the service manual and he ignored me. I allowed him suffer as long as the end product will be the same. Surprisingly, when he had to reset the timing after taking the chain off, he followed my advice pinning the two camshafts in position at the camshaft position sensor side. He didnt know that the holes provided there were to fix them exactly in position while chain is being installed. Am sure he learned.



Thanks again. With regards to the cost of the engine job, it is relatively cheap except for labour especially the Abuja one. Whole camshaft plus VTC actuator is N6,500. Other ones are silicon gum and fuel while labour was N10,000.

The 2nd job was outside abj but the part was sourced in Abj. Crankshaft and bearing N25,000, silicon gum, fuel and labour N5,000. Labour was cut low because the whole job was considered unsuccessful and a mere waste of money and energy. This once suffered more since the took down the engine twice and worked even on sunday. I guess if they did set the oil pump well they would not have droped the engine the second time and would have earned more than what they got with better client and labour satisfaction. I will call and let them know of their mistake.

Put the total at N65,000 including yesterdays oil pump bearing, silicon gum, fuel and labour. Its acceptable compared to the N300,000 dealers have quoted for the engine.

They give quality designs and body frames, when you feel such phones u knw what's up,
I use an. S6 edge and a blackberry passport
People might say I waste money ,I choose them because I like them also because of build quality,

True the Hyundai sonata looks really good, but Honda has maintained its legacy on the accord and they improved in the drivetrain department introducing a new and better engine. It is good to have fierce competition in the mid class family sedan , win win for us consumers. Gone are the days when Camry, accord and maybe altima rule in this segment.

The new KIA optima looks equally good (if not better than the sonata and accord, definitely better than the Camry). Looking at the interior u might think it is a BMW.

If u ask me the new accord, sonata, optima and altima are way ahead of the Camry. Toyota needs to improve or they might just become the new blackberry.

I won't really blame that truck driver but the bus driver because that truck can't just fall on a Smooth road but on a bad road, the drivers want to get to their destination in seconds over taking trucks anyhow even when u know the road is bad and the truck can fall at anytime thy drag with it on bad roads

Everything's a matter of choice. There are things iPhone can do better the S6 can't and there are things the S6 can do better. It boils down to the user. I don't like the limitation imposed by Apple after using one.
Am looking forward to the s6 too hopefully.

The s6 is a nice phone you won't regret it
