TheSparrow:
1. Buy poorly milled rice = N32k per (110-120)Kg

2. Take to rice Millers for polishing, sorting, destoning, and bagging. = N3000 for the (110-120)Kg above.

After step 2 above, you get a minimum of two 50Kg bags of good quality rice, which you can sell for 22k each. (Total = 44k).

Expenses = 35k + 2k(transport and miscellaneous) = 37K.

Gross Profit = 44k - 37k = 7k.

Do this for 100 of the bags in step 1 above and you get a gross profit of N700k monthly.

As your business grows, you work towards setting up your own rice Milling factory.

Wishing you all the best.

Meanwhile.

Lol true cowards are those who throw indirect disses... kindly mention me, you're as tribalistic as they come and believe in your own hypocrisy...First of, I was at the EndSARS protests at ketu and toll gate, it wasn't about tribe until your cretin MNK showed his head and made it into a tribal issue, until individuals predominantly from your tribe were more of anti tinubu, anti Desmond and anti SW leaders, more of your kinsmen has died at Oyibo rivers but the same pressure put on sanwolu and tinubu wasn't placed on him, because you guys are busy holding SW leaders accountable while your house is burning and even SS and majority of rivers people actually hate you guys, Wike has even made threats against you guys but there isn't any letter of recall because again you're busy holding tinubu and SW leaders accountable, you claim amuwo odofin is yours but let me tell you something today, if war breaks out today most of you guys properties and businesses will be taken away, ask most of your forefathers what happened in the civil war and they'll tell you, no matter how you speak the language, or marry a native or buy land you're still an outsider, so keep building in another man's land decieving yourselves...the only place you can claim in Lagos is the bottom of the lagoon.
Who be this now na?
This one think I have time for tribal shots Sha.
Egbon use ur sense well na, go and find the guy you were having a tribal duel with.

You went to protest and came back with this orientation of tribal bigotry abi? You think anyone who talk against tribal bigotry is igbo Shey?

Werey dey disguise Sha, many are indeed Madddd few are roaming, Abeg no roam come my side, shioor.

Going thru the comments ehnn,na plenty tribal bigots full here igbo this, yoruba that, see all of una dey maddd!!!!! Ur kind are the ones pulling this country backward, I'm pretty sure una dey within a certain age bracket of foolish old folks, what has your division afforded you guys kwa?
Make una come out protest against bad governance una no go gree do and na una mates una dey fear to stand up to in government, una dey mad!!!

When youths were out weeks back Shey u hear them talk about tribal this and that for protest ground abi religious affiliation? Mtcheeew

No government official is above the people who elected them there to serve them, if the people of amuwo odofin are not comfortable with the performance of who is reppin them, they're free to air their grievance and take em out sef, abi is it not government of the people, by the people and for the people? Na hire and fire, once those who Rep us in government understand this they will sit up and we will make progress jejeli.

Some Werey tribal bigots are busy ranting nonsense here, most of una no even fight the Civil War, one mumu was even boasting his father killed peeps of a certain tribe and he will do same too, but the mumu can't go and demand for good governance in his village sef, mumu tribal bigots full NL, too toxic.

I am not supporting the sham going on in governance but do you know that the Nigerian military can end Boko Haram and all its factions in just less than a week. But,they can't because the terrorists have back up from the government itself...
broda they haven't, we stick to the present and not some future assumption, the military have proven to us all they can't at all, can't trust them to end it in a week but I can trust them to level a whole community of unarmed civilians in 30 minutes, no stress.

Sirmwill:
Let me object at two things here
1.If Trump actually requested Nigeria to rescue the Hostage, that is when you will know what the Military is capable of.Buhari will have ordered the best military guys to rescue the hostage because it is Trump.
2.Fulani cannot take over the whole country. Its not possible.I hope you know that their population was inflated in the Last census. The fact is that they can be wiped out very easily from Nigeria if Genocide was to be embraced. They are only feeling powerful because of the poop in Aso Rock,if a new government led by a Yoruba or Igbo should come in power, you will watch film.
1.yet the same military can't finish up Boko Haram jejeli, only show power with unarmed civilians, small thing that the chadian army did to Boko Haram in a short while put Boko Haram into apology mode, Chad ooo, Abeg stop supporting mediocrity, the military is a complete sham, nothing like best kwa .

Meet those moneybags (however you define them) closest to you. Make concessions and provide financial projections. Be honest and straightforward. The first set of people who will invest in a new business are friends and family. When it becomes extremely profitable, others will become interested but certainly not at first.

Mine is a 250k problem tho, I want to go into foodstuff supply, crayfish for now, I've made contact with the market people in my area, especially Emeka(very honest guy who got the goodwill of people in my area, I buy foodstuff too from him), so we discussed at length and truly it affirmed my observation that stuff like crayfish and the likes are always in demand and with the right quality and quantity sales won't be a problem, I've seen him changed suppliers like thrice cos their quantity was always small(well I follow complain say the quality and quantity was too small for the amount I was paying grin).
I have made contact with crayfish farmers in akwa ibom(as per say my mum is from there, their language barrier is off, easy things), good price also, what's left now is raising the funds to start this business, I just saw some persons on NL who offer loans, I have contacted one already, waiting for a response from that one, I will contact the other two later today and see what's up.

As the festive period is fast approaching, it a good time to stock up on these foodstuff(crayfish in my case) and sell a bit higher yet lower than other competitors, sales will be faster, do it the igbo man style and ensure continuous supply.

#250k holding me ooo, well let's see how it goes this week.

I'm open to ideas and suggestions tho grin.

1.The African market is very competitive
2.Most Africans are obviously poor
3.Africa is not as populated as china and india
Stop talking with sentiment

theFilmtricsay
Samsung, Apple and the likes are they not selling in Africa, China and India also? Leave sentiment aside bud, when these various companies calculate the earnings do they exempt their sales from the African market? Is the Africa market as fierce as the India or Asian market or the likes where they prioritize quality as the main thing?

Since we're all sharing, let me share one and release stress, problem no dey ever finish but God got us all Las las cheesy

So I got this job around late 2018/2019 to work as an internal auditor for a tech company that got a contract to handle some genealogy project in Ogun state, well how I even got the job sef was a miracle of its own(matter for another day grin).

since it was a one man show it did come with it cons sadly.
I was staying with a good pal of mine, and during this tough period he was in Lagos and me alone in the house, flat broke home and around, my boss was in calabar(I was his eyes and ears in Ogun) also going thru some hard times couldn't send me money at the time, generally the project was struggling , I was just down and out with my mind racing what to do, days just eating coaster biscuit with butter mehnnn, coaster biscuits finish my eyes clear guun grin, I think it was one of those Muslim holidays and the next compound were busy cooking and mehnn the sweet aroma alone was like I was there eating with them, omo I kuku told myself that this is day 3 of no food I can't mumu myself na, I jejeli arrange my native, took my bathe and step out.
Yeah you guessed right, na that compound I go ooo grin, all in my head is that anyhow ooo I go chop something, I sat behind, thanks to God's grace I got served and I never knew the man doing the odun did notice me, he beckoned me to come over and we talked a bit, lo and behold I got more food to take home(I still remember this day with some tears cos I only prayed to God say even if na one plate of rice Abeg I no mind),he gave me some rice, beans, tomato paste and money for kerosene, see ehn God answers prayers ooo no doubt, omo I flex that food for a week with grin.

Well I left the job eventually, things never gel yet with me tho but mehnn I do know my best days are coming soon no doubt, let's see how November goes, it will be a good month for me, it's my birth month too grin.
