Sholeola23: My barrister said all they wrote was nonsense and it's against the law as all the payslips , bank statements are there and other docs are complete. Is just laziness on there parth. Please my timeline. Spousal visa (non priority) wife
8th June........ submitted my biometric 19th June....... Hubby sent supporting documents 28th June....... acknowledgment email from Sheffield 8th September........ decision made email from TLS passport sent by courier the same day. Been that it was a weekend I got the passport on Monday 11th September and behold my visa was granted.
My advice to all about to apply, take your time to read this tread from the very beginning and make note. It is a time we'll spent Congratulations!!!... |

Priority wife settlement
Biometrics June 5 2017 Sent documents to Sheffield from Lagos June 5th and it arrived on the 7th
Husband sent original marriage certificate from IK to Sheffield on June 6th and it arrived 7th
Discovered we didn't add 6 months bank statement of his paid employment and sent the documents July 1st
Decision made 23rd August Passport collected 31st August Congratulations!!! August was indeed a month of celebration for us. There was no refusal. More grace and strength for those still waiting. |

subomi2: I trust God for speed. Got a mail afterwards from Sheffield saying my application has now reached decision making center and being prepared for consideration. Abeg who ever got that mail?...pls what does it mean ? Chaiiiii..... It's means they have arranged and prepared your documents in other to present it to the ECO who will now look into the documents that you provided and decides whether to grant you visa or not and it will take him or her A month and few weeks to decide that. So u should be expecting the decision around second or third week of October if non priority . The Lord is your strength! |

God is faithful, and he will grant every other person waiting with their own visa. I will post my timeline soon. Meanwhile I started packing earlier today out of faith. Indeed God showed up for me.
I have gotten my passport today and the Visa was in it,
this thread is the real deal ohh, cos if you know me and my story you will know why I am joyous.( passport impounded by UK people in 2011, different refusals, and all) yet God did JUST LIKE THAT..

18th May 2017 - Online application submitted 25th may 2017 - biometrics at tls contact ikeja 26th may 2017 - Visa application received by ukvi email 22nd of June - Application received by Sheffield email 17th August - application not straight forward email 21st August - Decision made email from tls contact 21st August ukvi visa tracking showed that decision was made on the 16th August 21st August - application ready for collection email from tls contact 22nd August - Passport and visa collected. Visa was issued on the 17th of August 2017, the very day they sent me application not straight forward email. This guys knows how to play with people's emotions. To God be all the Glory!! |

Applied- March, 2017 Supporting document- April,2017 Received Mail that application not straight forward - 9th June, 2017 and 4th August, 2017 Decision mail- 9th August,2017 Second mail to pick up visa 2 hours later. To the glory of God visa issued.

Today, i Just got an email from TLS contact that decision has been made. I also tracked my application from the ukvi site and it showed that decision was made on 16th August meanwhile, I received application not straight forward email from ukvi on 17th August. The waiting has come to an end. Looking forward to collecting my visa. The Lord is Good! |
