story12: hello house, please I need advice from experienced folks in the house. I have applied for shenghen visa thrice in Spain, France and recently Italian embassy all denied. my main problem now is I was directed to different visa agents and different documents was used on this three occasions of which I don't have any knowledge of the kinds of documents used in my behalf, except the recent italy which was vacation. now my questions are 1, can I still reapply 2, is it still ever possible I be issued a shenghen visa again 3, is it not possible I have be blacklisted on shenghen visa platform NOTE: am 24yrs old female kindly help a sister with reasonable advice thanks. Question? When u applied in France embassy, was ur finger print not taken?. Once ur finger print has been taken in any of the shengen embassy and visa was refused, forget it. That information has been stored in VIS and that info can be accessed by any shengen country. Trying to reapply in the other embassy is a waste of time and money. Cheers |

[quote author=subomi2 post=53383666]Oh thannks @ justwise for the quick response. Pls i don't know how to print out call log. from my phone?? i was thinking of munching the screen so far but that's such a cumbersome task, how do i print all? ill appreciate if you tell me.
I don't know what u meant by cumbersome but i want to assume that u meant its going to be very stressful. I will advice u to make out time and prepare for the task ahead cause it's not going to be bed of Roses. U have to give so much time and Energy if u want to be successful with ur application.
So the easiest way to print ur whatsapp call logs or chat is to screenshot the log or the chat and it will save in ur Gallery as a picture. Then press share and it will show u many options including print.
Make out time to read through this tread and I bet u that success in ur application will be inevitable. Cheers. |

TunzAntman: Quick question people. Has anyone done a TB test at the IOM recently?
How long did it take to get an appointment? How much did it cost in naira? How long did it take to get the certificate?
Oya help me answer o! 2. Attending the clinic You should contact the above approved clinic to book an appointment. You should make it clear that you need the test for a UK visa application. You can expect to get an appointment within a few days of your request. At busy times you may have to wait 10 days for an appointment, especially during the UK student visa peak season between June and September. We cannot arrange or prioritise appointments for you. 3. What you should bring with you proof of identification, which contains your photograph, preferably your passport; tuberculosis test fee; and if you have had tuberculosis in the past or have any other lung disease you should provide details of your previous screening and, if possible, your medical notes and x-ray results. If you would like an appointment with a female clinician, please inform the clinic when you schedule your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment you should contact the clinic and refer to their cancellation policy and procedure. 4. Test fees The fee for tuberculosis screening is 145 US Dollars for all adults and 55 US Dollars for children under 11 (or its equivalent in Naira). The fee will be payable in local currency at the prevailing exchange rate advised by the IOM. You will pay the IOM directly for the cost of your tuberculosis test. The cost of the test is in addition to the visa application fee. The test fee does not cover treatment if you have tuberculosis. |

Beautifulswan: Hello house! Happy Sunday! I Know the bulk of information and applicants here are settlement visas but I need some guidance. My husband is on a tier 5 PBS migrant visa and I intend to join him there by March. We are putting together documents for my application as a tier 5 migrant dependant(spouse). In addition to the his bank statement, utility bills, tax information, marriage certificate, pictures, letter from both parents acknowledging our marriage. What other documents should we include to better our chances as one thing I've learnt here is that it's better to overkill. We really do not want to have any loopholes lest they deny the visa application. Thanks in advance. Question. When was the last time u guys stayed together?. I think u should include your communication record. Does your husband work? They need evidence. Where does he live? Evidence. Infact put together any evidence that u can lay your hands on. It's better to be together much than not enough. Cheers |

Lexusgs430: Let's understand your points -
You want your bae/boo to apply for a visiting visa? And while in the uk, you want to try and circumvent the spousal visa process, and get married with a visiting visa in the UK? Who would grant both of you the license to legally get married? If circumventing the immigration process was that easy, nobody would bother paying for spousal visa's incurring all the punitive charges and indirect taxation disguised as application fees.......... I think the visa she meant is Fiance visa not visiting visa thats why she is asking about income calculation. Will advice her to wait for another 2 months before applying so that her payslip will meet up to the required amount as her previous salary did not meet up to it. |

I work full time earn over 20k per year but that would be from October last year as my pay increased before that I was just under 18k so my question is if i supply 6 months worth of bank statements 2 of the months will be at my old rate the other 4 will be at the rate I get now can someone tell me if we meet the financial requirements or not as the home office is not very clear on how things are worked out. Hope to hear from someone soon thanks I think it's better for you to forget that 2 months statement that did not meet the requirement and get it from your new job. I know you guys are in a hurry but I will advice you to relax and get everything well than to rush and make mistakes. Cheers |

Fynebouy: Good morning all, hope our weekends were great. Please our alagbas I need advice. So I received a letter from Home Office or so stating they were withdrawing the original decisions (well I already received a notification from Global Appeals and had made a call to the Tribunal). BUT they have an actiom for and that is I should respond within 28 days whether I also withdraw my appeal or if I want the appeal to progress. They insist I must write either way.
Please who is familiar with this procedure and can advise on its implications?
Thanks It's simple. They have decided to issue you a visa but can not do so cause you have already put on an appeal. So canceal it and you receive your visa or go ahead with it and see what comes out of it which there is no guaranty that it will turn to your side. |

abubarakat: Hi Guys,
Just a quick update. I left Nigeria on Thursday afternoon and landed in the UK Friday morning around 6am in the waiting arms of my wife and daughter.
The UK border agent that attended to me didn't give any hassle. My TB certificate wasn't me; it was sent along with other supporting docs to my wife. She didn't even ask for it. She only asked the following questions:
1. Why are you in the UK And: To join my Family
2. Have you been to the UK before: Ans: No
3. When did you get married to your spouse: Ans: 2014. I only said the year and she didn't say anything.
She stamped my passport for entry and returned it.
But boy o boy, it is damn cold. The cold no be small thing for my made in 9ja body.
Anyways, after visiting a few family and friends during the day, we stopped at the post office to pickup my BRP later in the evening on Friday. The person that attended to me only asked for my passport, decision letter, address in the UK, email and phone number.
That's all. Welcome to the club. New year, New beginning |

Demoore: Greetings house, I just picked up my passport and visa this morning 10:45am!!! It has been a real journey for me and I give thanks to God that it has ended well.
I sincerely wish I had found out about this thread before embarking on this spouse visa application project. Initially, I had mistakenly submitted 'settlement-marriage' instead of 'settlement-husband' application in my first attempt. On realizing I submitted the wrong application, I quickly cancelled and recalled the application on same day. But the visa fee of over £1,200 which I paid went with the wind since I had already submitted my biometrics. There was no refund for me It felt like the ground should open up and swallow me...over N650k (£1,200) lost in this our recession! I have not fully recovered from that loss to be honest.
I picked myself up and started again. This time I applied with the right application: settlement-husband, and I also paid for priority. Unfortunately, it was only after submitting my 2nd application that I found out about this thread and realized that my 2nd application was not as strong as I could have made it. But the Lord did it for me all the same.
Visa granted since 8th Jan 2017 (I didn't know they stamp visas on Sundays)
I will post my visa timeline shortly.
You guys should keep up the good work of providing UK visa information on this thread. God bless you all abundantly! Congratulations!!!...the most important thing is that your application is successful. This year is full of good news. |

You submit your application on the 22/12/2016, your last bank statement and payslip, must not be issued on the 22/10/2016 (that's almost 2 months out of date)...
Hope I have clarified and not confused you? Thanks @Lexugs430. U have made clear to me thank |
