Which kind yeye Agricultural input and electricity? Same electricity that people are paying heavily for today and the government are still claiming they are subsidising it? Tinubu government claimed electricity is been subsidise, but Nigerian pays x20 of what they were paying when pdp was in power and pays x10 of what they were paying when Buhari was in power. Which kind yeye subsidy be that kind one? Which infrastructure is Tinubu doing? What differentiate the nonsense infrastructure Tinubu is doing today to what other pass leaders has been doing?

No body gives a damn weda Tinubu bring back fuel subsidy or not. What we give a damn about is accountability. Tinubu makes life a living hell for the commoners in Nigeria and he is busy looting money and sharing it amongst government officials, party members and supporters. No government has been this reckless in spending compare to what Tinubu government is doing today.

Honestly, you have briefly Justified government borrowings to fund budget to them but a lot of them don't understand the economics and it is even more embarrassing that a senator wouldn't educate himself or get more information about the subject before spewing all the rubbish statements from him.

About 99.5 countries run their government administration without direct borrowings, there are still other forms of borrowings that creates leverages but let me just simply say that there is hardly any country in the world that doesn't finance their budget with borrowings.

Nobody cares if Tinubu decide to borrow the country away or not, what people cares about is accountability. U can't be borrowing money in the name of the country to loot or share amongst ur party members and supporters.

Past government has been borrowing and people didn't complained this much because they let the country knows that most of the money the country was generating goes into subsidy to ease the life of the citizens and that's why they are borrowing. Even though we all know most of the money are been looted, people didn't complained much because they felt the good impact through subsidy.

But can same be said about Tinubu today? No, Tinubu has removed almost everything about subsidy in Nigeria and even widen the tax on citizens and have makes life a living hell for the commoners in the country, yet he has borrowed more than all the pass leaders put together and he is still keeps on borrowing.

I am not a Tinubu fan but the office is more important than their person. President Tinubu is the holder of the title for now and GCFR and that deserves respect. Even when he leaves the office, there is still a way to address him but while he's there, I see some of his fans not knowing the protocol of names and they say Jagaban President or Asiwaju after his name. Asiwaju is not his name, it is a title. You can can't call him President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I don't think a lot of people are able to separate the issues probably because they already chose the side that want to be on and think it's about Bola, Peter or Abubakar. The office of the President deserves respect and Mr Atiku as a former VP is not new to protocol, he knows the right thing to say/do. Why didn't he start all these with Muhammadu? Again, there is no proof yet that Mr Tinubu called Jonathan by his first name while in office.


Which reminds me, as the president, Goodluck Jonathan actually issued an official presidential directive regarding how he should be addressed. In October 2013, Jonathan directed all government officials and public media to desist from addressing him as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces during non-military events. Instead, he instructed that his name and title be used as follows:


1. For official/formal purposes: He was to be addressed strictly as "His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."

2. For general civil correspondence: He preferred to be addressed simply as "The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria" or "Mr. President."

Oga stop all this long writing. There is no where it is formal Addressing a sitting president either by his first name or second name. The formal is that u must add president, his excellency or commander in chief of the armed forces before mentioning his name anyhow u wants. Any other thing is disrespecting the president.

Same Tinubu u are talking about called president Jonathan a drunkard, fisherman and other derogatory names when Jonathan was president and nobody crucified him for that. So what are u guys talking about now? Even Wole Sohinka went as far as calling his wife hippopotamus, and non of u saw anything wrong with that, abeg make una rest jare.

There is no public record of Bola Tinubu ever addressing Goodluck Jonathan strictly by his first name, Goodluck. He called him Jonathan but I could not find where he used his first name. This is the point most people are missing from the conversation though I don't know what the politics is all about. I think Atiku is onto something with this use of Bola. I think it is deliberate and is linked to my earlier post about a Bola without a prefix or suffix.

Mr Tinubu called out Jonathan but Mr Tinubu did not call out Goodluck, if you know what I mean. This Bola conversation is also brining out certain things Nigerians don't know in addressing people. If you use a man's title, you also add his last name so it is Mr Tinubu not Mr Bola. It's Mr Atiku not Mr Abubakar. It's President Tinubu not President Bola. We can all call him Tinubu but addressing him by his first name takes a different turn. Do you remember people calling Olusegun, Musa, Goodluck or Muhammadu?

Anyway I suspect the Bola Atiku is calling is for a reason. They are both friends and associates. All they are doing for us is public show. For the records, I am yet to see any written publication or video where Tinubu called Jonathan by his first name in public.

What is the difference calling Jonathan by his first name or his last name? As the president and commander in chief of the armed forces, was he supposed to address Jonathan by any of his name at all? What happened to calling him Mr president or his excellency? It gets to his turn now u all are crying, hypocrites everywhere.
