Culture / Orunmila Agboniregun by Realmcfynest: 1:33pm On Jul 02, 2016
The Chinese don't joke with the statue of wat phanan choeng, we've seen the statues of Buddha, Krishna, Shiva and so forth,
.

Okay, these are effigies of Orunmila Bara Agboniregun, the wisest man who lived, he is the Orisha of wisdom, knowledge, and divination. The author of Odu Ifa who also codified its structure. He was anointed by Olodumare to teach the wisdom of Ifa to Yoruba people and the rest of the world.

You can train your dog on when and where it can pee and poo. So soiling ur apartment might not be much trouble. Buh few weeks of bringing him in, he could pee and poo in ur house Buh d more you train it, the more he knows he can't pee and poo in the house. How do I meaning training? By having a specific time of taking him out or d bathroom to do his business. Doing so will build ur dog sense not to soil d house so he won't poo or wee in the apartment. Like my rotties, tho they stay in the cage they don't usually wee or poo in it....they hold it till when we bring them out and if we don't bring them out, they bark and scratch d cage door and if we still don't let them out, they soil their kennel. Sorry for d long epistle Buh my point is when u get her, take her to where ever u want her to do her business at a specific time in d morning and evening do this regularly and u won't av issue of packing shit in ur apartment. When he soils d apartment, scold him and make him know that d behaviour is not allow. Never make d mistake of petting him when he soils d apartment..lavendra u too can get something from this

Ok thanks.... Duly noted.... Just wondering, when i take him to where he will do his business, how do i tell him to wee or poo...

I'll tell you my experience, I presently have a Samoyed I live in a self con, I'm a student in school, though she is a very calm dog, she doesn't tear things, doesn't scatter or chew or break things I meet my house the same way I left it. but what troubles me is that I have to keep packing poop and mopping pee everywhere that is what you should be prepared for, the poop and pee... that's what I'm passing through, so what I'm trying to say is that it's possible to keep the German Shepard indoor with you but be prepared your dog temperament might be different from mine he might be the type that scatters everything but I believe you can handle all that.

Thanks, whaT about the feeding?

To butres Lavendra's points, I will suggest you have him in d house (you cant tame it to the toilet 24/7) for up to 2*3months then later get him a cage.
Reason : you can't control it to a place and the pee has a stench your room will possess (mine, plus fur everywhere being an Lhasa Apso).

The future consequences is that the dog would/should have hours of play around your compound (not 24/7 in d cage) coz it has been used to moving around.

BottomLINE is that if you want bond, keep it in d house BUT if you don't have compound, start with cage for the dog right away so it will be used to it

Oh ok. Thanks.... Would get a cage. Please you know any local food source aside their noodles and bone?

Hi guys, in few days, my german shepherd will be home.

I dont have a cage, he is still a pup, about 5 weeks old. I was thinking, can it stay in my room? As a parlor dog or it will be disastrous?

I got no experience with dogs, aside a local dog we once had.

Note- i stay in a mini flat(room and parlor self-contained).

Thanks.

**When Yoruba People Want To Insult You**
'

Yoruba people have a high degree of charisma (Oyaya), if they want to praise you, they do it well, very well actually. That doesn't mean they don't have their other side.

Yoruba people can whitewash just as they can praise.

For instance,

If Yoruba call a nice and tall man; Aguntasolo, don't be conceited as they can call you dongo silewo or agoro, omoga esegun when you offend them.

what if you are short; they will praise you thus; Eyan kukuru to npe eni gungun rani se but, you try to offend them, you'll hear, Kukute, Danku especially if you're short and chubby, you'll hear; kuruki, Agbo-Egba, Sigidi etc.

If you're tall and hefty, they'll praise you; o sin gbonle, if they want to insult you; body loni ko l'engine, firigbon o silekun, akilapa. They'll even say; o se aya bi ehin, o se apa bi itan

If you're dark in complexion; they'll praise you adu maa dan, the reverse is; o jona bi isale jollof, odudu bi tyre oko

If you're light skinned, they'll praise you thus; amo lewa bi egbin, if you're impressed and wanna act cocky, they'll change it, they'll call you; o pupa bi epo isobo.

Yoruba people, to know us is to like us.

By: Bola Olalekan

What praise do you know in yoruba and how can you also insult such individual?

I start- a dark girl..... I will praise her and say duduyemi, omo dudu bi ti koro esin..... But when i ean to insult her, i can say omo to dudu bi isale pooti idana.

Lets see how strong we are in yoruba......

Unless you and the OP have additional information other than the above provided script then I'd say you and many like you can easily be misled and therefore need to polish up your comprehension.

Pls revise this statement again and explain to me how it could have been referring to EL Rufai?

“The threat of expulsion of the distinguished senator by El-Rufai spokesman is nothing but the hallucinations of a barely educated ogogoro drinker.

Furthermore, logic would tell you that he couldn't have been referring to governor EL Rufai because it is common knowledge that El Rufai is hardly a man that can be correctly described as barely educated - unless of course if the senator was instead referring to his spokesman .i.e Tanko Wusono

@OP:
You need to correctly rephrase your misleading headline because throughout the entire article there was no place where the word alcoholic was used neither does reference to anyone as an ogogoro drinker automatically translate to mean that the person is an alcoholic - pls kindly do the needful.
Recall this was exactly why this forum had to take out a full page of apology to Muslims for misrepresenting a story of a congregational prayer at Ibrahim Shekarau's house intended for the safe release of the former minister from EFCC to wrongly mean the prayer was meant to bring down PMB's goverment.
