iramure: Let the government ban the evil thing called RELIGION, be it Islam, christainity and other stupid ones in Nigeria. Religion under whatever guise is a CURSE and the intention of the those who introduced it is to make us look stupid by believing in fairytale. Even those thieves called daddy G.O, mummy, G.O, Bishop, Pastors, apostles, imams and holders of other stupid titles should be immediately arrested and jailed. They have done enough damage to the mentality of Nigerians.. Religion is a disaster, Islam is a double tragedy . The king of terror |

ISLAMBAD: This is one of the reasons i am a strong advocate of Nigeria break up...
In my new country there would be no trace of islam... (It might sound harsh, but such measure must be adopted for sanity to return) . So many countries dont tolerate islamic religion no matter how liberal some of them might appear...
You can't be fighting for your god, your god should be the one fighting for you..
We serve a living God, not a dead god that can't fight for himself Practicing Islam is meant to be a crime punishable by death |

MT: Wacky storyline. Nice visual effect.
Yorubas don't fight like Spartacus in war or in a fight challenge, the ending is so predictable and the story line is so tacky - A bad replica of "the woman king" movie.
Yorubas don't fight wars without consulting ifa, Ogun and other gods for directions. How many wars did Ogunjimi fight in the movie that made him Jagunjagun? War is taken seriously in Yorubaland and always well thought through and prepared for. The movie never reflects this.
The movie presents an invasion under the guise of a war
Femi Adebayo, dressing like a roman king, which I found so alien - should not have acted that part - Chatta or Lalude could have been spot on.
Wars were fought like Romans army with swords, without any consultation with the gods. Yorubas used charms, and other weapons, to fight in their wars but due consultations would be made to the gods.
Yorubas also don't have arenas, like the Romans, where they fight to death. Only Romans do. Local wrestling in Yoruba is for entertainment purposes.
All in all, for me:
Story Line - 20%
Visual Effect - 65%
PR (Hyping of the movie) - 100%
Please note, it is my experience, which I am entitled to. You are free to rate it as 100%.
Anikulapo movie still remains distant number 1 You are an ignorant person attempting to sound like an intelligent critic Maybe this is what you meant by Roman dressing. What he was wearing was a long agbada and leopard skin. I wonder when Romans wore agbada and ileke

MT: So you agreed that you misrepresented the bolded in your previous post.
Cite an example where warriors were asked to fight to death in Yoruba history. I will be willing to learn from you.
Why would a movie like Jagunjagun not show the art of war, especially how Ogundiji consults his gods? It's a critical part. Did Ogunjimi lead a war as a general in the movie?
Painting Ogundiji as a bad person after being shown to rescue a king at the beginning didn't add up. They should have dug deep to come up with a fantastic reason .
"Atamo atamo" ni in Yoruba Language. When someone talks too much, you begin to contradict yourself and type rubbish. It’s obvious it’s impossible to satisfy everybody. So if Ogundiji had been the good person, you will still complain the movie was predictable. Now the person you expected to be the hero of the movie became a villain, you are saying it didn’t add up. Bros, go and direct your own movie. Even games of thrones had good people becoming villain and bad people becoming heroes. You just want to complain and trying to sound like one intelligent critic. Lol |

MT: No lesson learnt
I repeat - Yorubas don't go into war without invoking the spirit of their gods - ifa, Ogun etc - through incantation.
Romans fight wars with swords and other weapons alone without incantations.
Yoruba will not go into warfare without charms and incantations, they can use any weapons in the process.
Tell me one scene that depicts this in a movie titled - Jagunjagun. Sometimes, accept you are wrong You posted on the front page that Yorubas don’t fight with swords which was not true. You don’t need to argue, just accept and move on, it’s no crime. And maybe you didn’t see them use charms or you don’t know that those red ropes were charms? If you know Yoruba very well, that red rope is a charm and they use that fight. And maybe you watched the back of your TV, you didn’t see Gbogunmi and Gbotija using incantations? You did not see one of the warriors using thunder and lightning to fight? Must you argue? |

EKONGKING: America became richest country in the world through innovation and philanthropy. Especially during glided age period of its history from 1880 to 1910. Many billionaires from rockfeller, carnegie, Vanderbilt , Goldman Sachs,Thomas edision,Henry Ford etc have made huge amount of money literally atleast a trillion in today's dollars .
What they did, they spent 30 percent of their profits on innovation and paying very good salaries to employees there by attracting best talent from across the world inturn generating even more profit for themselves and their shareholders.
The most important thing they have done for America is after their deaths they contributed huge sums of money in form of huge endowments to Ivy league colleges,
There by ensuring future for their companies as well as future for their country is secured . You will get the best talent not only from abroad ,but also from Harvard,MIT,Stanford etc .
All these made America extremely powerful by world war 1 as Europe fighting major wars every 10 years lost all important talent to America as well as unable to fund research and innovation at their University as money is diverted to war. The only saving grace for Europe is colonialism of Africa and Asia , if not for colonization Europe would be at same level as Asia of 10 years back. This is the absolute truth. When you hear the amount of donations they make to schools, you will wonder if this is real. The whites believe in giving. They believe in using wealth to change the world. Nigerians use wealth to oppress and sing lonely at the top They use the money to funds politics to get more power |

Same way with the tribes in Nigeria. The incessant arguments and debates will never end. You will never be able to prove which tribe is greater no matter how much you try.
If you blame the British for joining us together as one country. Well I believe it is destined to happen. This union was destined to happen for a purpose beyond the European plan. Earth has brought us together, Nigeria has brought us together for a reason. Let’s be honest with ourselves, deep down we are just like brothers. No matter how much you fight each other, in the deepest part of you, you all have the Naija vibes and connection. You may not know this until you step out of the country. Outside the country, you see people of different races everywhere. Chinese, Indians, Lebanese etc but once you see a black like yourself, you don’t even care where they come from, the person could be from Senegal, Gambia, Ghana. You are just happy and relieved to have someone like you on board, and when the person now turns up to be Naija, there’s this smile that comes to your face immediately. That connection starts immediately. At this point you don’t care what part of Naija they come from.
You are just happy they are Naija. That’s the Naija spirit
I hope I made my points |

The four elements of nature; water, air, fire and earth got into an argument which is greater. After series of debates, here are their major points
Air: I sustain all lives on earth, without me, no one can live and without me there’s no fire
Water: I am the source of life. Without me, no life on earth. Without me, earth is useless but a rock.
Fire: I’m the source of energy, without me, no energy on earth, without me, how will the mortals survive. I produce that can destroy anything
Earth: I am the foundation and the bedrock. Without me, none of you will have a home. Without me, no place for any to stand
At the end, they discovered they all need one another. No one can function completely alone without the other. |
