When talking about "false religion" common human sense can't fathom the concept so humility is required on the part of each and every one of us to IDENTIFY the one and only true religion God approves.

Sorry it's not religion per say but Politics, false religion just happens to be one out of many instruments in the hands of politicians!

God's word (Bible) revealed how these troubles started from inception, according to that book (Bible) the right to distinguish between what is good and what is evil belongs only to God, mankind just need learn from God how to set the Perfect standard that will guide us to having a peaceful and secured society.
Sadly the first human pair chose to snatch that from God and that's what led to all these troubles we're experiencing today

Adam and Eve want to be like God (setting the standard for right and wrong) so they committed the first murderous act by eating what will lead to their death and ever since then death became inevitable so whether a person grew old or not, murdered or not, infected or not, chose to be good or not we will all die!

Now majority of mankind are following Adam's trait so by all means they want to rule others and that's why they're employing all means false religion, racism, money, eloquence, fame and so on are all the things politicians are using to gain power.

True Christians don't take part in Politics so the killings you're talking about doesn't come from the hands of true Christians but politicians using false religion as a cover!

What about countries with low religion affiliation? You know how they are faring compare to the so called religious ones. Even without so called conscience, law and order

When I consider what humanity have been through in the hand of religion, I wish there would be a world without religion.

Think about the history of the Roman Catholic Church. Think about the murder of Vanini, of Servetus, etc.

Think about the massacre of St Bartholomew. Think about the establishment of the Holy Inquisition. Think about the conquest of Africa, the exportation of its natives to the countries of Europe. Think about the scourge, the chains, that were used to export our helpless and conquered ancestors to Europe and Asia.

Think about all these and tell me if the world wouldn't have been a better place without religion.

Think about the jihads of the sword carried out by some Islamic extremists. Think about the calamities the world have suffered in the hands of ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, etc.

These are the offspring of religion, of superstition, of fundamentalism, and of fanaticism.

Think about all these and you would admit that a world without religion will be better off for the human race.

Brother, though i don't know much of computer engineering, but one thing is certain, civil engineering is one of the few engineering that is working in nigeria today. You can look around you from building construction to railway construction (thanks to buhari) , to road construction. We've not talk about the prospect in Nigeria.


Well, reading from above comments, it will be hard to make the decision, if you intend travelling out after the course, go for computer engineering otherwise, bross, go for civil..... That's the only engineering that seems to be working in Nigeria.
