Good morning everyone,

Please I just filled a new DS-160, and had to change my application number on the CGI platform.

I have been finding it difficult to retrieve the Visa appointment confirmation on CGI platform. Please does anyone know how I can find my way around this?

Good afternoon everyone embarassed,

I was denied recently with a funded offer at Abuja. I have been trying to look out for a new date. Although, I have been seeing dates released for the past one week (on the Regular Visa priority), these dates will not reflect on the Denied section of the Visa priority.

Please what can I do? Will dates be out under the denied section within the 6 months? Do I wait? Or can I go ahead to pick a date from Regular? Please does anyone have any experience with this? And what is your counsel?

Good morning everyone,

Please I have some questions. I was denied an F1 visa this month. And I intend to re-apply. But each time dates are out, it never displays on my CGI platform. Please find attached.

Please why does this happen?
And what do I do?
Also, when am I most likely able to get a date when released?

Did you observe a problem in your community you are trying to solve?

What are the "specific skills" needed for you to solve it?

That's where the course comes in to equip you with the required skills and competencies needed to tackle that issue.

This is just a case among many reasons if they ask you why this course.
So can I say something like this? Is this a good response?

"While I was younger I suffered from several diseases. To mention, malaria, typhoid, and yellow fever. In the Nigerian community, there is an increasing incidence of infectious diseases, which has led to an increased mortality and morbidity rate coupled with a developed resistance to drugs.

I applied for this course during my undergraduate, even till this time because I am passionate about contributing to knowledge and solving these health problems in Nigeria.

This course provides me with valuable skillsets, state-of-the-art facilities, and competencies for my research needed to tackle these challenges.

Also, this course at XYZ University provides me with the exposure which is also able to place me at the forefront of biomedical research in Nigeria, and resume as a Full Professor in my alma-mater."

Good evening everyone,

Please what's a good way to response to this question during an F1 graduate visa.

"So, why this course?"

Only you yourself can answer this question. What changed in your application since the last time you applied? If you didn't go with funding at first, do you have one now? Did you aquire any skills or changed position at your work place since the last time you went for your first interview? Did you change schools?sponsors? Etc
So check what has changed and type it down.

Best of luck
I have gained skills in grant application writing, and skills in bioinformatics research. I have also traveled to an African country this year for an Academic Conference. Previously, I went with about a $54,000 deficit, but now I got a funded offer from a different school.

Please does the above capture a good response?

Good morning everyone,

Please can I get compelling tips to the question "So what has changed?" in a F1 visa interview?
