@tithe so much have been said about this whole situation but need i remind u that we live in a civilized society driven by moral principles and ethics.my uncle at 35 married a 17yr old but that was like 15=16yrs ago.if you love her keep her but don't dare take her to the altar now,she is definitely not ready for marital life.if you truly love her,assist her in her schooling and marry her upon graduation.some gals of 15/16 might be skillful in bed as someone pointed out but you and i know that it is not all there is to a successful marital life.the virtues of a good wife doesn't include excessive shagging at a tender age. Hey!! don't get mix it up,you said you loved her and true love is void of selfish desires.i turned 26 yesterday and would not even take chances with a girl of 18. |
@nweke c p you have been doing this for quite some time now.I advice you start a new post and stop breaking the flow of responses,you don't want to be sent packing. |
the result is on the verge of been released though the delay is quite annoying.a little patience will do. |
@sabro 'discourse' not 'discuss' there is plenty of hope for dvirgin but let's start by accepting the fact that he played a gamble with his future.the debate was never about the relevance of religion to national development but the personal love for it which will inform an individual to opt for it as a course of study, you have spoken wisely but you didn't tell us whether those people made a clear choice to study religion without the influence of JAMB.Journalism as you mentioned is no doubt a good profession but does dvirgin love writing and the art of literature?.If he goes into the labour market with that psychological drawback he might increase the probability of not getting a job. @dvirgin We love you and will not allow you to become a sorry ass.you do not need to be shown pity.journalism or something else on graduation is not a bad idea,but you have to seat back and enjoy religion or drop out and take a different turn,the ball is in your court. |
@Cristalz What you said is just a tip of what one can find in inspirational books and more.the whole idea stems from the fact that once a man is psychologically balanced; that is being able to control his thoughts and feelings positively.he can achieve anything he desires.your contribution is no doubt a good one but you still need to understand that there are different ways of saying one thing and that can only be possible if you take the patience to read and comprehend properly before response.WELL DONE. @otuwe We are saying the same thing.i beseech you don't take this personal,if i had insulted you please forgive.but let's allow reason and truth to prevail.i take alcohol and i know its limit to confidence building.what about looking for a limitless solution? We are the architect of our own misfortune |
@otuwe if u start depending on booze when will u stop.don't forget that u need confidence every day of your life.what u are asking him to do is to add liquor to his breakfast menu.the consequences are of enormous weight,what about his health,u and i know that excessive and constant intake of alcohol will result to cancerous infection(dysfunctional lungs and poor respiration),cardiovascular diseases and a lot of negative exposure that will definitely amount ill-health and eventual demise.so i like to ask where u pulling a stunt or joking or is it out of ignorance or wickedness that u made such cynical comment? |
house i was invited for an interview through sms by karROX on the 23rd of july by 4pm at the headquarters,86a Allen avenue,ikeja.anyone with bright ideas ad contribution(s). |

@dvirgin are u not the one that filled religion in your JAMB form?,where u sleeping when you did d application?.guy!!! u are funny,how can u possibly go in for a course without inquiring into what the future holds for u in line with your choice course.I advice u go the guidance and counseling section on campus for career assistance.there are a lot of contradicting advices and suggestions in these forum,some good and some bad.don't get more confused,go there now. |
Yes they do Not having the NYSC discharge is indeed a stumbling block to your career ascension in this naija.believe me,you just have to be ready for discrimination if you intend to go in for part time in your first degree. |

well thumbs up for research and development I think the chrone OS will be a success b/cos most simulations are gradually becoming web-based,but i quite agree with beaf; we are in the era of illegal system penetration,in lieu how reliable is the user-security features of the chrone OS Besides the web is too open,Microsoft has the resources to come up or improve its OS.with these,the chrome might not be able to create a healthy competition,even though it is rooted on a different platform,it might end up being second to microsoft like linux,apple and the like. Let's even see the thing at work before we run more analysis. |
they sent a message and said i should come tomorrow by 12pm,well i will go and do a research on the company.the irony of the whole thing is that i don't know when i applied and what position i applied for. |
@modath and totfulguy and marvostica why the emotional outburst?.can't you guys for once exercise patience and get exactly what is happening.how can you just assume that somebody is withholding information.I also applied but haven't received any sms. @all we could do a lot of good to this thread if we visit the website or/and send them an email or call to know the development so far. |
unfortunately the girls are noted for immoral dressing which undoubtly creates room for such.i believe that,if our ladies are properly dressed without exposing vital and sensual parts of the body in the guise of fashion and vogue we will then start to see less of sexual harrasment in our campuses. |
@xynerio na wah o.only you? |

@blissieng Its amazing no doubt but I underwent a similar experience at intercontinental bank last week,according to the report skye bank listing was definitely not a typo. @all Just yesterday(vanguard newspaper), the CIBN condemned the report saying that it was meant to cause panic,but I believe that before the report was made public that the system was generally unstable and showing sensitive but neglectable signs of danger,following the growth indices of the first and 2nd quarter of the year.in lieu,people should be advised not to panic as this would stimulate and aggravate the problem. |
To add to the numerous positive advice. i say to you with courage that it doesn't how many times you fall but your ability to get up and fight.you can do it brother.IT remains the highest earning profession.,your achievements in that sector has nothing to do with your first degree performance(s). |
The whole scenario is indeed worrisome especially at this time when the monetary authority is trying to restore confidence to the once truncated stock market.personally,i wonder why the chief regulatory authorities such as CBN and NDIC have not made any comment in response to the foreign report,isn't that a bit suspicious going for the fact that the governor is a fundamentalist and has shown 3wks ago that that he can't play politics with the truth-damn the consequences. I was particularly surprised to see intercontinental and oceanic banks in the nibble and shakey side.though like (nezed) you rightly pointed out most annual and financial reports are doctored to suit the corporate image of those banks.we saw what happened to northern rock,AIG,fannie mae and the like.last year November the CBN pumped 1.7 trillion about into the bank financial institutions providing them with credit facilities, all to shield them from external shocks. why aren't they saying anything. |

@MRbrownJAY You are beginning to make sense. Just like biola44 pointed out,am beginning to find it difficult to make a clear distinction between hookers and normal galz.but a street hooker doesn't choose who bangs her,after all money is the end target but a normal bad gal(who shags her boss or lecturer, ) will definitely apply the principle of choice.in life even in the face of evil and wrongdoing we still have a choice. I guess a greater proportion of them gals have almost seen the end of their days,but let's give a chance for the few good gals who have played their card right amid the temptation to deviate. |
