I didn't expect any contrary response from a lady as its only normal that they come to their defense.

First off, I laid emphasis on most not all. It would have been a generalisation like you asserted if it was a sweeping statement on all Nigerian women without an exception.

Why there's no official chart to buttress my points or yours, statistics on ground isn't favourable to your claims. The women who engages in the listed activities you mentioned for livelihood are mostly married women who are usually 40 and above.

There are very few women of below 30 who revels in such businesses and who are enthusiastic about not depending on men for their sustainability. You don't have to agree.

On another note, even the unmarried ladies who are gainfully employed in enviable firms as banks and top corporations still have this mindset that it's a man's responsibility to take up their personal bills. Most of the time it cut across employment status of the woman involve. It's like a tradition seemingly.

The message of most Nigerian women is clear: to prove you're a man and deserving of my love just spoil me with material gifts and banknotes. Whether you're employed or not, a fraudster or not they don't give a hoot and you know it.

What I find repulsive and don't understand is this mindset most Nigerian women seem to have adopted that it's a man's responsibility to see to their every financial needs.

To the average Nigerian lady out there, a man must lavish money on her to be taken serious or seen as impressive.

There's a need to enlighten our women that economic hardship in Nigeria is not an exclusive plight to them only but its bedevilling men alike. Men and women have equal potentials to becoming successful so the notion that guys always have money to splash should be abandoned.

How many of our women has ever bothered to ask or find out the source of the wealth their boyfriends spend on them? Do they even care? And some of them actually do take guys for fools and that irks me the most. You meet them today and they start claiming to be in love prolly because they realized you got potentials or a well-to-do. Like seriously you mean you couldn't love any of the guys you've known all along?

Why men are working their asses off and hustling to better their lives, most of these ladies just rest their asses at home waiting for a wealthy man to come date and marry them. A man they'd suck his resources dry and when dumped tomorrow they cry their usual blue murder of after everything I did for him. Nonsense.

The reason I left the romance section is because this is serious and I need mature advice pls. I have been dating my gf for over a year now and I'm very serious about her. She knows my family although she's yet to see my parents but they do talk on phone. She schooled with my younger sis in thesame uni.
The problem is, she seem to have fallen out of favor from my sis. I sometimes even persuade her to call and my sis don't really like her dat much again. She's even advising me to leave her. But that's not the major problem. The problem here is I get easily offended by her and loose my temper easily with her. I'm not that hot tempered cos I know how to hold my tongue but her little mistake throws me over the edge. We fight almost every week and I hope to settle down with her but don't know how to hold my temper. I don't know if it's her or me but she just pisses me off sometimes and I don't know why. I love her but don't know where this is coming from. I don't want a case whereby we settle down and we continue fighting and someone gets really hurt. God knows I hate divorce. Sorry if I wrote too much. There's a lot to put down but I need sincere advice.
