Redmosquito: Blackened rain
Darkened Veins
Coloured rays
Troubled ways
They scream on the outside
Hungry for whats on the inside
I sit on the inside
My gun aimed at them on the outside
Blackened rain
Troubled veins
Sharp canines
Curved pincers
Blood-thirsty mongrels
Mutated scoundrels
Once human they were
Now they have changed
They are less human
More beast
They punch the windows
Bang the doors
I sit on the inside
Unafraid
Unmoving
I wont last long
THey will get through
And when they do
My jugular they will do

I seat with my stethoscope
My pen in hand, like a telescope
My muscles twitch
My brain waves switch
My forehead shifts
Contorting in thought
Prodding for ideas
Ideas that exist not
I am a doctor
Savior of lives
Not a poet
Master of lines
At least by definition it is
So I cannot
Thread this path I cannot
Lest I fail
And be no better that Jack
Of all trades
Master of none

Dizney: why in bold letters? You must be a very tough person! Is it every superhero comic that just goes boom bam? Where do you work anyway?
HEHEHEHEHEHEHEEE!!!! BOLD letters have always been my thing, along witha couple of NLDERS. It was from a long time ago (yeah! NOw I'm feeling old) grin grin grin grin grin
On a more serious note, I am a lover of comics. A diehard fan! Naija comics hasnt been booming! If it has, I havent been noticing it. I just want a nice storyline, I even think I will one day turn my stories (If I ever get to write lots of them) to comics

And ermmm.... you're new, right? Haa! Yes, you are! grin grin grin grin grin grin

I am troubled by how myopic the average nairalander seems. I can only shake my head in pity, at the thoughts they ring out, the thoughts, so primitive, unworthy of voice. Pfff! Troubled, I truly am.

[b]I was wondering the same, seun is powerless over this issue. He cant stop anyone from pressing CTRL+V, he cant be looking through google for our stories, they're not his stories, they're ours. Literature/writing section, no matter how beautiful it is, it is just one small appendage in the whole being that is Nairaland, Seun cannot be going through that much stress for it.
As the well legally-intuited young man above me said, Seun has claimed no ownership, hence no respponsibilty to protect what is not his. He may say he wants to help us, but thats just it, voluntary service of no mandatory form. I look around google for my stories every once in a while, its been copied and pasted on other sites of course, but thankfully, the copier has been kind enough to put my name (Redmosquito) or in some cases, the NL link has been added to it.
Seun and the mods have no obligation to us, at least not in this kind.
This is my belief on the matter.

grin grin grin grin grin grin
Chai! It feels good to type on NL after a while, my bosses, I flex my platysma muscle in respect for the voracious natures of your unique respective gray matters

Efe! Apology accepted!
U see my story as a junkyard, I have no problem with that, I even like the fact that u voiced ur opinion, its just fact, I cant fight ur truth.
I just want to show the pecks in the junk, thats why I wrote on its crytics.
I av to time to be looking for ur trouble, the beating u gave me last time, I still dey LUTH because of you, I no wan part two.

Mynd! Ur' Maynd!

I was thinking no-one would pick my clues, Efe went her own way and abandoned the "junk" and I thought others would too.
As for the notes stuffed in his mouth and cuts in Chief Koko's body and the mutilations. I have a reason for that. I didnt want to just create any kain suspect. I wanted to create a genius, one who believed in symbology and brains and subtle jabs and the likes, the naira in his mouth is a way of protraying his greed, his mutilated dik is a way of insulting his promiscuity, the symbols on his belly, any writer can twist this into any way he or she sees fit.
The crime scene, I left for the next writer, add more maggi to it and make it more spicy with clues. Its meant to be a detective novel, I've read a bit of Agatha and watched detective movies, a lot. So I know a lil about them clues stuf.
The suspect should maintain this genius intellect I've given him, Lucan needs to know what he's up against, a bad genius guy that is.
I'm really busy, I will still be here, but more in spirit than in body.
Peace
