Politics › Re: Obasanjo Remains The Best! by redsun(m): 2:32pm On May 04, 2009
Vindicated by who?By the same corrupt committee of of dem dem.

According to Fela-

Election story nko, obasanjo plan and very well

He take old politcians way rule nigeria before

The same old politicians, way spoil nigeria before

Obasanjo carry all of dem,all of dem dey there now

The young african get two ears for head, dem get two eyes too.

Dem dey see the things way dey happen

Few people dey fat with the big money

The rest dey hungry

Na wayo government we dey,

E gba mi oo

Na paddy paddy government we dey

Ekpa ri kpa oo

Extract from Fela's army arrangement, talking about the failed second republic,he will be rolling in his grave to think that obasanjo came back to rule nigeria again.

Who are telling there is no weed in the farm?

Politics › Re: Lagosians: What Hardships Do You Face In Your Locality? by redsun(m): 1:55pm On May 04, 2009
we got to let these people know we are here. This forum has been on for years now, still we haven't started making any practical impact in the society.I know there are people of reputable characters and disciplines on this forum that can effectively make immense contributions, one way or the other.

There is a case of someone that phoned Fashola for a tax receipt on this forum and he got it,talk less of a committee of serious minded people pointing the ills of the society and in most cases should be with press coverage. With a little bit of monthly or quarterly accountable contributions,we can mobilize and kick start our dormant world, people should be made to pay for their irresponsibilities, not just in lagos state but the whole country.

Just think of a student that was killed by soldiers for wearing green, madness, somebody should follow up that case.Soldiers are main to protect their own citizens not kill them, unless in a state of anarchy,

We really need to do something, let us learn to trust, organize and sacrifice for the mere sake of human dignity and fairness as a people,

We are not born with silver spoons but we acquire it and preserve it for generations to come.
Politics › Re: Lagosians: What Hardships Do You Face In Your Locality? by redsun(m): 10:23am On May 04, 2009
We should a form committee of discipline and vetted nigerian based members of this forum under the auspices of Seun and co, that will be our practical mouth piece and body for investigating, assessing, confronting and presenting the issues we discuss here to the appropriate authorities.

They will be finance mainly by little contributions of away dwellers like me,In this case,we can really make impacts as some kind of pressure group not just talking.

This things are for real and we have to face it realistically.Let us not be a statistics of another generation of african toothless bull-dogs,backing without bitting.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Smoking And Taking Recreational Drugs Like Cocaine A Sin Before God? by redsun(m): 9:37am On May 04, 2009
In cases like this, bible stories tend to make sense.Of course it's sinful against oneself for one to be dangerously harming himself with things like cocaine, alcohol and cigarette, weed is understandable because is natural.

Just common sense and discipline
Nairaland General › Re: Nigerian Nurses Beware? by redsun(m): 8:31am On May 04, 2009
i think it is got do with the stressful nature of being a nurse in america, long grueling, gossips and witch hunting filled shifts couple with the fact that nurses for reasons these days are emotional hardened instead compassionate and caring that they are originally main to be.

Nigeria factor too of marriage without common grounds, more like arranged marriages just for the sake of being married(holy spirit union and money craze)It doesn't work, marriage is a union between two people of like minds, outlooks and visions.
Politics › Re: An Expatriate’s Email From Nigeria by redsun(m): 6:52pm On May 03, 2009
It is not about what people say or think but about the fact that we are feeling the pain for real and not making any head way.It feels like hell for real out there and there shouldn't be any reason for that.

Politics › Re: An Expatriate’s Email From Nigeria by redsun(m): 5:55pm On May 03, 2009
People describe us as if we are still on the level of NATIVE mentality, like situations you will find in the jungles of andes, namibia or ethipian deserts, despite all the education, exposure and resources,we are still very backward.

The seventh largest producers of black gold in the world.Na waoo.
Nairaland General › Are Weevils Proteinous? by redsun(op): 4:21pm On May 03, 2009
How can we eliminate the weevils in nigerian beans?Somehow,we just found it normal to eat weevils infested beans to the extent that they allowed to be traded like that internationally,we don't seem have any kind of safety check and control.
Food › Re: About Veal Meat by redsun(op): 3:42pm On May 03, 2009
There are loads of animals we don't eat in Africa that can be found on oyinbo gourmet menu, things like docks, pigeons,we more or less see them as  untouchables and should just be left to the detects nature.
Food › Re: About Veal Meat by redsun(op): 3:35pm On May 03, 2009
It is a common delicacy i england,as far as i know.
Food › About Veal Meat by redsun(op): 3:31pm On May 03, 2009
Why is it that oyinbo people eat veal meat(baby cows)while in Africa even when food is scarce,it is seen as despicable.

What is it about veal meat that makes people want to kill tender looking calves and lambs, even pigeons?

Actually,we just think it is our right to live, even when we have nothing to live for.Born to suffer without making daring efforts to change things.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Remains The Best! by redsun(m): 10:26am On May 03, 2009
Obasanjo was a kingpin in ITT contract illusion in the 70's nigeria,a kingpin in 16 billion dollars power generation illusion and a kingpin in this current halliburton contract saga, yet some people still think he is a messiah.

Like Fela said in one of his songs-In the country of the blind, one eyed man is the king.BBC aka big blind country.

How long will we continue to be blind to reality before we phase out the no good old school politicians that permanently put nigeria on reverse?
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Remains The Best! by redsun(m): 11:58pm On May 02, 2009
But how can some one like obasanjo have such a stiff grip on nigeria?na waoo,we de slack oo.The new generation seems bleeped up,having no say whatsoever.
Music/Radio › Re: Abami Ada by redsun(op): 11:12pm On May 02, 2009
Let us have the sayings of Fela, all man coming up with one or two of his sayings to see whether the truth won't be revealed and the blind will see again.

Dem go pick one african man,a man with low mentality, dem go give am million naira bread,to buy high position here,he go use some thousand naira bread to buy one useless chief and  like rat de do,he go de go corner corner, passee passee yonder yonder passee passee, sidee sidee, passee passee, bribe bribe. How does this reflect halliburton case?corporate bribery, international thief thief(ITT),it didn't start today.
Music/Radio › Re: Abami Ada by redsun(op): 10:14pm On May 02, 2009
Fela said,Zombie no go go,unless u tell am to go,Zombie no go come, unless u tell am to come,Zombie no go think unless you tell am to think. How does this reflect nigerian society today? People are Zombie, they want to be told what do,all the time.

Wake up and live.

Politics › Re: Nigeria On The Verge Of Becoming Another Columbia by redsun(m): 6:43pm On May 01, 2009
It is the time of reckoning. You can fool the people some times, but you can't fool  all the people all the time, now you see the light,u gonna stand up for your rights.

Nigeria problems stems from backward leadership and corruption, the people have been pushed to wall for so long, now there is no where else to go but to push back.Life is not worth living if you are not in control, especially when your destiny lies in the hands of some bunch of sub-humans like obasanjo, that guy is such a cruel and dumb silver back, wild silver backs are outstanding leaders, but he is just a dondee, oloshi.
