TheGoodJoe: That is your mentality, not the sheikh. The sheikh is building one of the best club's in the World.
Guardiola has maintained consistency, which is the most important.
By the way, we have not over spent on our forward lines which shows lack of desperation as you guys try to paint.
You think we will be buying Ferran Torres and Gabriel Jesus? Promoting Foden etc. One of the best in England but not in Europe … you consistently choke in champions league The sheikh has done everything, highest paid manager, biggest team payrolls but he still cannot buy the UCL trophy … and Man City fans in denial want the sheikh to believe that FA Cup semi final appearance is success |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester City vs Chelsea (0 - 1) On 29th May 2021 by ReeLoaDead(m): 6:04am On Jun 01, 2021 |
TheGoodJoe: There is no denial. Guardiola over performed. It took Ferguson over 12 years as coach of Manchester United to win the Champions League.
We wanted the cup but it does not change the fact this was a brilliant season.
FA Cup - Semi Finals Champions League - Finals League Cup - Winner Premier League - Winner.
If you are being honest to yourself, this is a remarkable performance for a manager in one season.
It is a fact.
Only Guardiola will do the above and get criticised. It is likely the loss when the odds were 70% for a City win that is causing some City fans some sort of dissonance Sheikh spent all that money to win one trophy and one trophy alone NOT Carabao Cup NOT FA Cup The Sheik wants the dam UCL trophy but Chelsea instead got it done as the UNDERDOGS. |

Health › Re: Indians Bath In Cow Dung & Urine To Fight Off Covid-19 (disturbing Pictures) by ReeLoaDead(m): 9:32pm On May 31, 2021 |
mansakhalifa: Those doctors are wasting their time. They are trying to counter a belief system that dates back to the Vedic age(from 5000 BC). It's gonna be really difficult to do that. Cow urine and dung are part and parcel of Ayurvedic medicine. Ayurvedic medicine originated in India thousands of years ago. Some would tell you three thousand years ago but hey... it could be more. The Hindus have always seen the cow as an embodiment of their deities/gods and as a result, anything that comes out of the cow(whether milk, urine or dung) is automatically seen or held as having medicinal and spiritual properties. And this, is a belief that they have held for thousands of years. They believe that cow urine, for instance, can cure just about any sort of disease that you can think of and for this reason, some take cow urine in the same way you would take normal medications. In fact, cow urine is equivalent to holy water under Hinduism as it is sprinkled on adherents during certain religious observances to render them 'sanctified'. The holiest urine is that of a pregnant cow. It is going to be really difficult to disabuse their minds of such thoughts. The doctors can only keep trying. The practise of using cow dung and urine as 'medicine' goes as far back as the Vedic era like I said earlier. Some Hindus would naturally pick that over modern medicine. Thanks, your post is very educational |

TheGoodJoe:
Sheikh Mansour is actually a brilliant man and knows that in a case like winning the Champions League, it takes time to win it. If it was so easy, Alex Ferguson would have won it more than twice in his whole career. PSG has spent a fortune and are yet to win it too. Money does not guarantee it and he knows for a fact that since he signed Guardiola, we have over performed and unlike what you think, he is proud of Guardiola's achievements. SAF won the impressive treble. His legendary status is already cemented. It would be better to win a UCL first before trying to make any comparisons to his achievements in the EPL. Also, PSG have not been a legitimate team in the literal sense, just a collection of stars … Man City won EPL titles before Pep G. Mansour brought Pep to deliver the most coveted trophy … the UCL trophy. After such a painful loss, it is understandable to be in denial and claim your Man City has over performed because they won the “ carabao cup” in addition |

Sometimes people experience dryness and it could get so bad that they'd lack direction on how to even get out of such precarious situations. So you'd go about mocking such people?
And i hope Should you find yourself in such situations in life you wouldn't give up on yourself?
Sometime ago Chelsea wasn't even mentioned in discussions as such but today they're a powerhouse in world football. Leicester City haven't spent 10 seasons in the PL but today they're a powerhouse in English football. Tables turn bro.
I told someone here that with the right investments Arsenal will be at the to again. Shalom Amen … for the sake of my brother who is a hard core Gunner I pray you guys win an EPL or UCL title soon. Also, trust me. I follow other leagues and also have/root a team that has not won a championship in ages, so I do know that feeling, the dream never dies. Cheers bro. |
