The FG is not setting up a new institution. The FG is establishing a new faculty of medicine and allied courses from the existing Armed forces universities (NDA, Army University Biu etc)

The Nigerian judiciary has a traditional of appointing the most senior judge after the chief Justice or judge is retiring. The present CJN was the most senior justice after Justice Ariwoola. The seniority is not by age, but by the number of years in service.
