is clear you are not in the medical line...antenal visit are done 4weekly till 28week gestation then 2weekly till 36week and weekly till delivery,from the 30th week you start clinical pelvimetry which is where you have to insert your hand to check the birth canal to see if it is adequate for the baby to pass,is done by the doctor or in less powered health care facilities is can be done by an experienced midwife

am a medical student and intend to specialize in O & G...pls is normal practice in medicine worldwide... is no big deal
