PTI & FUPRE are two different institution. PTI do not offer higher degree like FUPRE. And it's not converted to FUPRE. Heard they wud resume nxt month (july)

@elect, fupre has no phone number in the brochure. I av checked. It's like canditate admitted for 07/08 session are yet to resume. Am not sure, sum1 shud pls hlp confirm. Or nobody dey stay warri for this forum?

@electroguru, forget about fupre being new, they would be sharing resources, equipments and infrastructures. With old time petroluem training institute effurun(PTI). Which we all know, have been on for long, and done many engineering programs in recent times. Besides fupre student would be using pti hostels. I know evrytin is a gradual process. Bt if the school is nt prepared for eng program. They would surely start one day. It's not our mistake is thier's. Apart from u, who else read dat so-called papper u claim to have read. Well am not changing my course yet, let them(FUPRE) correct thier mistake. themselves.

U don't need to be scared if u are informed. Post ume in futminna is strictly 'O' level. With a total of 100 questions. That wud include all your ume subject. Comp/elect, mech eng, are very competitive course in the school. Besides the school would want to consider it's remedial canditate and indigens first b.4 others. Nd by the time thier thru, u know wat dat means. Few or No more marketable courses would be left. Bt u all gat 2 wise up! Make use of any oppurtunity u come across. Best of luck!

Men u have hope! Futminna is frm 160. Bt D Truth is dat the school is f**cked! U must either be an indigen or know GOD wela. I had 236 in their post ume for 07/08 session. Bt got denied. U can imagine sum1 putin mechanical eng. Nd geting ph6 at the end. So work hard along side pray harder.

@electroguru am sure the ad u read was for 2007/2008 session. When the school jst newly admitted it first set. Then they were yet to be in the jamb brochure. Don't let us complicate things. Besides, Wat was d date on the paper u read? I so much believe that the school is ready to kick off with it's engeenering courses this next session (08/09). I got these info, frm a reliable source. @ sally. They are lot of uni dat wud accept ur score for post ume. Schools like unibuja, futminna, delsu, imsu. Illorin is frm 180. Just go and make futher enquires. Take care

I wud also like to be updated on fed.univ.of.petr.res.EFFRUN, cos i applied into the institution too. Pls anybody wit concrete info and website of fupre should help post it. Nd wud also want to know thier p-jamb cutoff for 08/09 session.

My nairalanders, pls i wud like to know more about the new fed. Univ. Of technology in Delta state (FUPRE-Effurun) what are the criteria for admission and thier post jamb cut off mark (160 or 200) thier portal adress (website) any details abt the school would be appreciated!

The issue is not just the second list, bt ur name being in the second list. Hope evry1 xpecting names in unibuja list are nt jst sitting at home doing dat? If not, mehn u go Old! I wud advice all those xpecting to travel down to Gwagwalada and tidy things up 4 demself! Don't just sit at home and expect! Or else you would be dissapointed! Unibuja na levels school (i.e "no me, i no u).

Pls am seriously in-need of hlp. Fut minna has started online regd for 2007/2008 session of admission. The problem here is that no other admission list apart frm the 1st have been released. My question is would there be any other admission list for this session? Cos i was meant to understand that there would be no other list, i don't know how true dis info is. Someone should pls hlp confirm
