The national assembly has been urged to consider strategic economic transformation roadmaps, state policing, and women inclusion in politics as critical flashpoints of the constitution review exercise. Consultants to the House of Representatives Committee on constitution review while presenting the harmonized reports from the 305 memoranda submitted to the house by Nigerians spotlighted issues bordering on economic growth and political leadership of the nation. The report emphasized the imperativeness of social and economic laws that will enhance the welfare of Nigerians and reposition the nation for positive development. Presenting the report to the committee, the Consultant on Election Matters, Dr. Samson Osagie highlighted the independence of oversight institutions and agencies, consideration of state policing, providing seat reservation for women in the national and state assemblies, indigenship, citizenship, provision for advisory role of traditional rulers, local government autonomy among others as issues for consideration. Similarly, the Director of Research and Development of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Dr. Olusegun Omisakin revealed that the nation's economy is dominated by the nonproductive sector, which represents 50% of the population, leading to the collapse of infrastructure and social sectors. Dr. Omisakin proposed stabilization, consolidation, and acceleration as economic roadmaps that would facilitate growth and boost economic transformation. Also speaking, the Deputy House Leader, RT. Hon. Abdullahi Halims attributed the nation's economic downturn to insecurity and called for a constitutional provision for the prohibition of open grazing by the National Assembly. In the same vein, the Vice Chairman House Committee on Constitution Review, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere stated that faulty political structures and systems that produce leaders of the nation contribute significantly to the current social and economic realities of the country. In a remark, the Chairman Conference of State Speakers, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, while emphasizing key areas of interest, expressed optimism in the collaborative efforts of the states and national assemblies in actualising the objective of the review exercise. The Governor of Akwa Ibom state, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, represented by his deputy, Sen. Akon Eyakenyi lamented the lack of willingness by Nigerians to accept the constitution as the people's document, and assured the committee of his support in achieving its set goals. Earlier in an address, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairman Committee on constitution review, RT. Hon. Benjamin Kalu assured Nigerians that the constitution review will enhance economic outcomes by modernizing legal frameworks, increasing institutional capacity, addressing emerging economic challenges, as well as facilitate the inclusive development of the nation In a goodwill message, Nigeria's Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, urged the participants to ensure that the outcome of the exercise reflects the diverse perspective as well as the voice of the Nigerians. Other dignitaries present were Speaker of Guinea Bissau, Domingos Pereira, and Senator Saliu Mustapha of Kwara state, Senator Amos Yohanna of Adamawa, and Senator Diket Plang of Plateau state, Speaker Akwa Ibom state assembly, Hon. Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has clarified the motivations behind the establishment of The Compass newspaper, denying any intentions of using the platform to oppose Senator Bola Tinubu. In an interview the former governor granted a national newspaper, Daniel addressed these misconceptions and highlighted the extensive developmental work undertaken during his tenure, much of which he felt was underreported. Reflecting on the media landscape during his governance, he stated, “I took over from a newspaper mogul, Chief Olusegun Osoba, and I was not expected to get good press. The sympathy was really not with me; it was with my predecessor. People thought I would crash within a few weeks.” Facing persistent negative press, Daniel felt compelled to create a media outlet to accurately document and publicize his administration's achievements. He emphasized that the establishment of The Compass was a strategic move to counteract biased media coverage rather than a tool for political vendetta. “We needed to have a platform to also record what we were doing. We did a lot of work that people still do not know,” he explained. Daniel lamented the lack of social media at the time, which would have allowed for more direct communication with the public without reliance on traditional media channels. "Unfortunately, we did not have the level of social media that we have today. If that existed, nobody would need the traditional media. "But you know, you people at that time, once you blocked us, you blocked us here, you blocked us there, I was finished (laughs). If we were working 24-7, nobody would see this. They would say you are not working because you people have blocked everybody. So that was what happened. "I’m not a newspaper person. But, at that stage, we needed to have a platform to also record what we were doing. We did a lot of work that people still do not know. "For instance, we are thanking our current governor for now working on the (cargo) airport. But this was part of our master plan, which we decided, we did everything we needed to do, we got all the approvals before we left. But you people (press) will not report it." “We secured three free trade zones in Ogun State. The Olokola Free Trade Zone, which is where Dangote Refinery was supposed to be but because you people did what you had to do, we lost that one to Lagos. But I said to people, well, Lagos is still the same. If it’s lost to Lagos, it’s fine. "In any case, where we wanted to put it is inside Ijebuland. All these places where they are in Lekki is still part of Ijebuland, under Lagos. So we’ve not lost anything. He also said the Kajola Transportation Free Trade Zone, and the Ogun-Guangdong Free Trade Zone, were all initiatives under his administration. These zones were designed to boost industrialization and economic growth in the region. Daniel also pointed out the numerous educational institutions established during his tenure, including the Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic in Ijebu-Igbo, the Gateway Polytechnic in Sapade, the Tai Solarin University of Education, and several others. He stressed the transformative impact these institutions had on the state's educational landscape. You’ll be shocked if I tell you that in the course of our administration, we established probably about seven tertiary institutions and campuses. I can count for you. We established Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo. We established the Gateway Polytechnic in Sapade. We established another one in Igbesa and another one in Itori. We established the Tai Solarin University of Education. We established the School of Nursing in Ilaro. We took the old Tai Solarin College of Education to Omu. It’s now known as Sikiru Adetona College of Education in Omu. We established Gateway Industrial & Petrochemical Institute (GIPI) in Oni. What didn’t we do? But you people didn’t report it." In terms of industrialization, Daniel noted the development of the Sagamu Interchange area into a major industrial hub. “That axis now is probably the biggest industrial zone in the country. Companies like Nestle, Coleman Cables, CTK, and the biggest international breweries are now located there. It is the fastest growing industrial arena in the entire country,” he said. Addressing the media directly, Daniel humorously added, “There’s a whole lot that you people refused to report for us.”

By Collins Nkwocha The prophetic hall of fame, prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry has hinted that there's a curse that is lingering in the Rivers state government House which makes people recalcitrant and obstinate. Speaking today in Ikeja, the prophet insisted that until the curse is broken there won't be peace in River State " who will ever imagine that Fubara would stand up to Wike the way he has done, it's like a movie to a lot of people, there's a curse working against Rivers state government House,Peter Odili had serious fight with Rotimi Amaechi, Rotimi Amaechi and Wike had serious war that claimed lives, now it's Wike against his very loyal political son, Fubara; these things are not ordinary, curse is at work, you can imagine Fubara making plans to probe Wike's administration instead of looking for a way to reconcile with his political father, something is responsible for this vindictive attitude ". He reiterated that the curse must be broken so that people can return to Rivers state " as the prophet of the nation,I bound every blood sucking demon that has patterned the River State government House in such a way that the predecessor and the successor must be in conflict so that blood can be shed, in the name of Jesus Christ, let peace return to Rivers state so that the people of the state can have joy once again".

‘’Yahaya Bello Helped Tinubu Win, President’s Appointees Fighting Him’’ – APC Chieftain A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Jesutega Onokpasa, has revealed that certain appointees of President Bola Tinubu are plotting to succeed him before the end of his tenure and are seriously wishing that the President will not make it to 2027 for their selfish reasons. Onokpasa, a lawyer and former member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who lamented the alleged hypocrisy, pull him down mentality and anti-party activities going on in the governing party, laid curses on those he accused of wishing Tinubu dead, saying, “If they don’t repent, Asiwaju will attend their funeral.” He said this in a video, where he was seen addressing party members and drawing their attention to the belief that the ongoing drama around the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s allegations against former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello; and the continued attack on former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, were plans mapped out by these individuals to allegedly perfect their plans. Expressing concern over ill treatments, selective prosecution and hounding meted out on some prominent chieftains of the party since the emergence of Tinubu’s presidency, Onokpasa alleged that the particular appointees he was referring to in Tinubu’s government were behind the ordeals of former Governors Yahaya Bello, Nasir El- Rufai and Abdullahi Ganduje in order to perfect their “satanic” succession plans, while allegedly wishing that the President would no longer be around by 2027. Referring to a particular appointee of Tinubu whose name was not mentioned, the chieftain said, “You drive Rufai away, you start hounding Ganduje, although there are other things involved, you start attacking Yahaya Bello, what did you do? You don’t have mandate my friend, you are just an appointee… you think we don’t know what is going on? “Listen, Asiwaju is a child of God. Asiwaju will rule this country for eight complete years. There is nothing anybody can do about that. He will rule this first four years, he will so perform, Nigerians, again, will vote for him and next time around, we will win a majority of the total votes cast. So, all these your satanic plans, plotting that our President will not make it to 2027, you are wasting your time. Get that through your head.” The party chieftain, who Nigerians know to be a die-hard supporter of President Tinubu, also angrily bemoaned what he called the attitude of “using and dumping” people who worked for the victory of the President in 2023, while those who were against the President and even insulted him, were being given priorities “over authentic supporters and genuine Batists.” Onokpasa, who was also a member of the APC Presidential Legal Team and Chairman, Tinubu Media Support Group, said, “Of recent concern to me is the case of my younger brother, His Excellency, the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello. In this party, we have had our brother, the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai basically chased out of our party despite what he did for us to make us win. Now, it is Yahaya Bello. A few weeks or months ago, it was our National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje that was basically almost being chased from our party.” Blowing hot against those behind the ugly trend, who he claimed were arrogating powers to themselves at the detriment of Tinubu’s wellbeing, and warning them to desist, Onokpasa stated, “Listen, we cannot tolerate such nonsense in a party. Let everybody in this party come to his senses. We know how we won election. We won election because of the grace of God, because the grace of God is upon our President, Asiwaju. We won election with the lowest margin. This our government has the lowest margin since 1999. We won with less than 40 per cent of the votes. In every other election, someone had won with 50 per cent of the votes. “Everybody that contributed to our victory is important to me, because me, I am a fanatical Batist. This is the way I see Bola Tinubu’s administration. Bola Tinubu is a child of grace. The way I see it, God wants Bola Tinubu to be our President and we need him to be our President for eight years. What we should all square up to right now is a question of, there is no need to beat about the bush; there are people in our party who don’t believe in our President. For whatever reason they feel, I don’t know where they went to, that’s their headache.” He cautioned those wishing Tinubu dead, stressing that the president would make it beyond 2027. “Even after that eight years, he (Tinubu) will become an elder stateman for many years after that and none of you … all of you doing this rubbish, if you don’t repent, Asiwaju will attend all of your funerals. I am the one that is saying it,” he said. Onokpasa recounted how a young man died in Edo State after wishing the President dead, saying, “I will like to share a story with you. There was this young man in Delta State where I come from. He had the guts to come to me and he said, uncle, this man, Bola Tinubu that you are supporting is going to die before the election and I told him, are you the God that created him? Do you know what happened? May his soul rest in peace, he died before Bola Tinubu won election.” “There are people in this party who don’t believe in Asiwaju, they never believe that Asiwaju can make it to 2027. Do you know what? All these people, if they don’t repent, Asiwaju will attend all of their funerals. They are mad! They don’t have mandate, it is Asiwaju we voted for, it is Asiwaju that has mandate, it is Asiwaju that is the President. And we need Asiwaju to run complete eight years to finally make this country the pride of the black race,” APC chieftain stated. On the Bello-EFCC controversy, he said it was for the court to decide, stating, “Nobody is supporting corruption. However, we fight corruption according to law and you will not have a personal indifference with somebody and then you use the instrumentality of office to torment that person. We will not tolerate that in this party. We must not.” He also lambasted a particular appointee that he portrayed to be high-handed, alleging that the appointee funded an opposition member against the APC candidate, Usman Ododo, during the Kogi State governorship election. The popular Tinubu loyalist said, “I mean, can you imagine the nonsense. You sponsored somebody who left our party, he used to be a member of our party committee, you claim to be a member of our party, you now sponsor him against our own candidate, Usman Ododo, you give him money, he lost, we defeated him. Sorry! Then, you say his lawyer, my learned friend, Jibril Okutepa, he is the one that you now brief to torment Yahaya Bello? “I am very proud of Yahaya Bello, Yahaya Bello helped Asiwaju to win election. Anybody who helped Asiwaju to win election is my brother. He is my father’s son that my mother gave birth to. I don’t owe you any apology, who are you? Nonsense! You will turn all of us to cowards?”

Tinuade Sanda, the former managing director and chief executive officer of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), has been in the news for controversial reasons over the past few weeks. She was sacked by Eko Disco and West Power and Gas (WPG) Limited in one month. In March 2022, Sanda was appointed the managing director of Eko Disco, becoming the third woman to lead in this capacity in the industry — after Funke Osibodu of Benin Disco (2013) and Folake Soetan of Ikeja Electric (2020). Two years into her appointment, Sanda, who claims to have been educated across the world, became the subject of an internal investigation at the company. On March 25, Dere Otubu, chairman of the board of directors at Eko Disco, announced the recall of Sanda based on a directive from the Nigerian Electricity Distribution Commission (NERC). She was recalled to the parent company alongside other WPG staff. Backing the decision of the board of directors at EKEDC, West Power and Gas (WPG), the parent company of Eko Disco, announced that it had also fired Sanda. “We hereby advise you that your services are no longer required and accordingly your employment with WPG Ltd is hereby terminated effective April 17, 2024, in accordance with clause 10.2 of the Contract,” the company said in a letter to Sanda. “WPG Ltd is obligated to pay you three months salary in lieu of notice and hereby advise you that the due amounts have been credited to your account.” ALLEGED EDUCATION FRAUD BY SANDA Concerns have been raised in recent media publications about Sanda’s widely touted educational qualifications and potential deceit while at the company. According to her LinkedIn page, the embattled MD had initially claimed that she holds a Bachelor’s degree in applied science (BASc) from Harvard Business School and an MBA in Strategic Planning from the University of Edinburgh. She also claims to have earned a PhD in Benin Republic. PHD FROM ‘NON-EXISTENT’ UNIVERSITY Her public profile claims she holds PhD in financial management and entrepreneurship from “University Management Science and Technology, Benin Republic”. In an interview with Punch Newspaper, she said she “bagged a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Financial Management and Entrepreneurship from the Icon University of Management Science and Technology, Benin Republic, in December 2020”, therefore presenting herself as Dr. Tinuade Sanda. To verify this, TheCable contacted the university to check the authenticity of the PhD and found that the institution’s website domain had expired and the university had been taken offline. What is left online of the said university is an Instagram account where it markets itself to potential students, especially Nigerians. The university offers a B.Sc in three years, as against the standard four years in Nigeria, and interestingly, does not require UTME results for admissions. To further verify the state of the university’s website before it was taken down, we used Wayback Machine, an internet archive tool, to extract information. According to this archived webpage, the university claims it has the “Authorization No: 2014-049 MESRS/CAB/DC/SCM/DPP/DGES/DEPES/SA” in the Republic of Benin and is “recognized by Ministry of higher Education of Nigeria (sic)”. We found no record of Nigeria’s Ministry of Education approving such a university. We have since contacted the National Universities Commission, but there was no response as of press time. However, the list of accredited universities on the NUC website does not include ICON University. TheCable obtained a list of all accredited universities by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Benin Republic, and the ICON University was not listed. The ministry also published a list of approved private universities in the country in December 2020, about the time of Sanda’s graduation, and the university was missing. There is also no evidence that ICON University is accredited in Nigeria and the Benin Republic. We also extracted the names of the management team at the university and found that many of them could not be found. According to the now-deleted website, the management team comprises Maria D. Smith, Simon Duval, James Hogan and Claudia Williams. There is no digital footprint of any of these purported professors and no academic records to support their existence as the management team at the said university. SANDA MISLEADS ABOUT DEGREE FROM HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL To verify her degree from Harvard Business School, we reached out to the institution. Responding to our queries, the office of the registrar at Harvard Business School said Sanda did not bag a degree from the highly-rated institution. However, HBS confirmed that she attended a three-day executive course nine years ago. A screenshot of the response from Harvard Business School “Tinuade Sanda participated in an Executive Education course,” HBS said via email. The business school added that she undertook the three-day programme in “Strategic Financial Analysis for Business Evaluation” from March 29 to April 1, 2015, receiving a “Certificate of Attendance”. “Please note that HBS Executive Education only offers non-degree programs. Certificates of attendance are awarded to participants upon completion of the program and do not grant degrees or alumni status for the program mentioned above,” HBS added. Since the sack by Eko Disco, Sanda’s LinkedIn page has been edited, removing some of the previously listed educational qualifications. For instance, Harvard Business School has been changed to Harvard Business School Executive Education and University of Edinburgh has been changed to Heriot-Watt University as seen below. NO RECORD OF STUDENTSHIP AT UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH Following our findings with ICON University and HBS, TheCable contacted the University of Edinburgh Business School, which Sanda’s LinkedIn page initially claimed she attended. David McGregor, a digital communication officer at the University of Edinburgh, said Sanda did not attend the institution, suggesting that we contact Heriot-Watt University. Heriot-Watt, which offers a 100% online MBA, did not confirm nor deny Sanda’s attendance but simply said: “To comply with GDPR legislation, we are not able to release personal information.” Sanda also claimed to be a certified member of the Institute of Management Consultants in the United States and an associate of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers in the UK. We checked the published directories of both institutes and found no record of such membership. TheCable mailed both institutes to confirm what we had found from their published directories, but no response has been received more than a week after the emails were sent. The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) under the leadership of Olanipekun Olukoyede has taken a different dimension that can be best described as the ‘lowest low’ since the commission came into existence. Under the leadership of Olanipekun Olukoyode, EFCC, a commission that should serve the interest of every Nigerian has been turned to a weapon of destruction probably under the influence of some individuals who want to get back at their opponents. The emergence of EFCC was to basically go after economic and financial crimes within the provision of the law but nowadays, what we see the commission do is totally against the law. In the case of the former governor of Kogi state, EFCC has turned itself to a ‘court of law’ by making unfounded allegations against His Excellency, Yahaya Bello who has served the people of Kogi state wholeheartedly in the last eight years. The commission alleged that the former governor mismanaged about N80 Billion meant for the state in 2016 but according to figures obtained from BudgIT, the state only got N31.98bn allocation all through the year so how on earth did the EFCC arrive at N80 Billion? It’s either the EFCC is intentionally lying against Yahaya Bello or staffers of the commission saddled with the responsibility of getting facts and figures is doing a shabby job and in addition, there was never a year throughout his tenure that Yahaya Bello didn’t commission projects equivalent to the allocation received. As if that wasn’t enough, the EFCC boss alleged that Yahaya Bello paid the school fees of his children from the coffers of the Kogi state government in advance because he was leaving office. This is not just ridiculous but embarrassing because Yahaya Bello that we know is one who was well to do before he become governor of Kogi state. Yahaha Bello has been paying the school fees of his children, they have always attended the school in question so what would it cost him to continue paying even after government? The commission should be aware that the former Kogi state governor is not one of those politicians who don’t have a life beyond politics therefore making an assertion that he paid some money because he was leaving government is null and void. As a lawyer that Olukoyode is, he should know too well that such statement is defamatory and as long as it hasn’t been confirmed by the court, making such a defamatory statement isn’t acceptable and he is culpable in all of these. At the moment, the EFCC boss has been charged to court for contempt and he will most likely be jailed if he is found guilty; this could have been avoided if he chose to work within the provision of the law but for reasons best known to him, he decided to take it personal and now, he may need to pay with his freedom. However, the EFCC as a commission has a history of making unfounded allegations against personalities only to backtrack after discovering the truth. A similar situation happened during the commission’s scuffle for Otunba Gbenga Daniel when he was accused of N60 billion misappropriations but in the end, they changed it to N200 million. This is also a reason the commission always loses court cases because there isn’t always enough proof to substantiate claims against victims. We can only hope the EFCC turns a new leaf because if the commission continues on this trajectory, the federal government will be making more enemies than friends.

In an unnecessary move to remain relevant we have come to realize that US BASSED BLOGGER Funke Ashekun who LOST shamefully IN COURT LAST WEEK had a team of disgruntled and disgracefully expelled set of people whom she worked with and works with. These are people who called themselves pastors and servants of God but had no idea what that title really meant , they were chronic liars , unruly people , thieves, and women molesters, some of the intolerable reasons they were fired and thrown out of the Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM) One of such persons is Late David Komolafe. A born chronic liar, A man who misappropriated church funds , assaulted women , and lots more, of-course what kind of relationship would you expect to exist between enemies of progress other than tomfoolery. In a leaked audio tape between the trio the shameless late Komolafe was heard telling disgraced FUNKE ASHEKUN and her husband stories of how he helped DK Olukoya acquire a property which was later hijacked unlawfully by the man of God. The story is a very funny one because according to our findings we came to know that back in the days it was DK Olukoya that helped Komolafe rent his first apartment at Montgomery road, Yaba the same way he assisted Funke Ashekun to get her first apartment at Fola Agoro with his civil servant salary. In same breath Komolafe mentioned that he acquired a blue passport and when DK Olukoya saw it, he became angry and quickly canceled his reserved hotel when they traveled abroad for a ministration. It’s so unfortunate that someone who was practically helped and being fed by DK Olukoya could come up with such lies. We were told that komolafe came to MFM with his family reeking of poverty and only survived on the resources of DK Olukoya till he was caught in the web of different atrocities. In this voice note Komolafe stated that he was fired, but we gathered that Komolafe was NEVER fired. Multiple witnesses are still alive to testify to this . He was rather requested to go on a short retreat for some investigation to be done on some allegations on him, but he decided to split the church and break away to start his own church practically taking everything mfm with him. In this leaked contradictory voice note, One of the most surprising of his lies in their conversation with almost-going-to-jail Funke Ashekun was that DK Olukoya placed curses on one of the altars he came to dedicate after it was acquired, he claimed that they were alone when DK Olukoya carried out the act. It’s either Komolafe was drunk or not in his right senses to have mentioned this statement. We believe it is pure fabricated lies. In same voice note late Komolafe said during a crusade at the church where the altar was allegedly cursed, an MFM pastor stood on it and his voice ceased as he was about to call prayer points, and went on to say that he (komolafe) took the mic charged up the atmosphere to the extent that the wife of the general overseer started manifesting in the crusade, as a matter of fact ,fell down twice, so much that she was assisted out of the auditorium, all these we can perceive to be lies from the pit of hell, for if this was true, it will be out there on the internet in a split second, and we would like anyone with such footage to come up with it for investigative purposes. Contrary to his assertions, we gathered that Pastor Shadé Olukoya was at both August and October crusades in 2002. As we listened further to the leaked voice note we can hear komolafe talk about shade Olukoya placing a curse on him as they chat and laugh away, but of course we can tell that komo-lie-fe was in a frenzy of evening liar-thorn and all he said was far from the truth I remember vividly sometime last year in one of her fake and unscriptural broadcast , June 28 2003 to be precise, Funke Ashekun used the content of this leaked voice note to create content for her broadcast meanwhile constantly retorted in court that her broadcast were not about the Mountain of fire and the general overseer Dr Dk Olukoya, lies that lives with lies will always end up face down. It is understandable to have misunderstanding with people or organizations, but to go all out of the righteous way to paint a terrible picture soaked in fabricated lies about people or an establishment is totally unacceptable. Sadly, Komolafe is dead, Who knows if this woman pushed the poor man to death by their unholy and ungodly alliance against the ministry and the man of GOD more over , Funke herself is in trouble of looking for $50,000 to pay MFM for defamation. From some of our past articles, we gathered and wrote about the good will shade Olukoya showed toward the family of the ASHEKUNS which they seem to have thrown out of the window We have more voice note and ongoing investigations to reveal more of the truth and nothing but the truth FEMI OYEWALE The truth is out there, find it, and make it come to light https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8X9pGQapuw

For over three years now, a Nigerian lady, named Funke Asekun, who recently relocated to the US, has been on Social Media, spreading all manners of falsehoods against Mountain Of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Church and her General Overseer with the sole purpose of tarnishing and damaging the reputation of the respected Man of God and that of the ministry - MFM Being deceived by the illusion that she can hide in the US and successfully carry out the job of her paymasters to ridicule and tarnish the image of MFM and her General Overseer, she refused to heed all godly counsel for her to retrace her steps and refrain from her self-destructive mission. Thus, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (US) successfully prosecuted its claims against her which did not last for a year. The US jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of Mountain of Fire USA and its three pastors, Grace Ugeh, Kunle Ladipo and Adekunle Adekola. The case thus represents a victory for Mountain of fire and miracles ministries, its local pastors and the General Overseer. The unanimous jury also awarded to Mountain of Fire USA the sum of Fifty Thousand US Dollars ($50,000) which is the full amount of all damages it claimed in the suit. The jury found that the postings of Ms. Ashekun had defamed Mountain of Fire and shown its pastors in a false light. Mountain of Fire’s lead counsel Gilbert Garcia said that Mountain of Fire was gratified that the jury found in favor and vindicated the position of the ministry.

By TRIXX NG Reporter TRIXX NG reports that One of Nigeria’s leading real estate companies, RevolutionPlus Property has continued to be in the news majorly for the wrong reasons. Owned by Bamidele Onalaja, RevolutionPlus Property came into limelight barely ten years ago but it’s been from one scandal to the other for the company. Despite having celebrities as ambassadors, RevolutionPlus Property has not been able to be scandal-free especially in its relation with realtors and customers. Although, it is impossible for a company to be without scandal in the real estate industry, Nigeria has quite a number of companies but RevolutionPlus property appears to be the most mentioned in the negative. Meanwhile, the company isn’t the biggest in the industry, there are several others that rank higher than RevolutionPlus but they don’t get scandalized as often as this. Bamidele Onalaja’s owned RevolutionPlus has faced a number of scandals but this article will only highlight a few of them. 1 Fraud Allegation: In 2022, RevolutionPlus Properties was called out by its subscribers, alleging that they were defrauded because they didn’t get their allocations despite paying in full years ago. Some subscribers went as far as calling on the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to investigate the company for fraudulent acts. At some point, some of the company’s celebrity ambassadors were dragged into the matter and sadly, the company admitted to not allocating lands for subscribers. The issue was resolved after the company decided to allocate lands to the aggrieved customers. 2 Another Fraud Allegation: In 2023, one of the company’s ambassadors, Toyin Abraham had to terminate her ambassadorial deal with RevolutionPlus properties because of the threats she received after the company was once again accused of not allocating properties for subscribers. She even had to tell her followers to deal with the company with due diligence, hereby disassociating herself from them completely. This was following an allegation of N15 Million scandal that rocked the CEO, Bamidele Onalaja by a subscriber. He claimed he paid the said amount in 2020 but had not gotten allocation as at 2023. 3 Breach Of Contract: Still in 2023, RevolutionPlus Property Development Company Limited was taken to a Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State by a subscriber named Ebele Ikpeoyi. The subscriber alleged breach of contract and failure to deliver a property that was supposedly paid for between 2020 and 2022. According to the lawsuit filed by her lawyer, Mr. Ugochukwu Eze, Ebele Ikpeoyi, a legal practitioner, subscribed to the purchase of a plot of land situated at Emirates Seaview Estate, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State. After completing the full payment for the property, she received an allocation letter from the real estate company in March 2022. However, instead of proceeding with the necessary documentation for transferring the property’s ownership, RevolutionPlus informed her via email that she would be allocated a different property located in Highbury Estate, distinct from the land she originally paid for. 4 Land Allocation Issues: Last week, A Nigerian man living abroad called out revolutionPlus, alleging that he is now homeless abroad after using all his money (N40m) to buy 20 plots of land from Revolutionplus since 2017, yet he has not seen the land. He called on the government to intervene before he takes his own life. Although in a response, the company claims the subscriber defaulted severally and that’s the reason he is yet to get his property. One would notice that all of these happened between 2022, 2023 and January 2024; this is a pointer that RevolutionPlus Property is scandal prone and isn’t doing something right. https://trixxng.com/the-many-scandals-of-bamidele-onalajas-revolutionplus-property/

Foremost Ondo state governorship aspirant, Engr. (Dr) Oluwafunmilayo Ayinke Waheed-Adekojo has been endorsed by monarchs in Arigidi, Akoko North-West area of the state today Saturday, 13th Of January, 2024. The endorsement which marks the beginning of Funmi Ayinke’s governorship campaign was spearheaded by the Zaki of Arigidi Akoko, Oba (Dr) Yisa Olanipekun who gathered other monarchs to endorse the Arigidi-Akoko born politician. On arrival at the King’s palace, Funmi Ayinke, who was in company of Nollywood actor, Kunle Afod, her staffers and received great reception from a teeming crowd of supporters, explained to the monarchs that the significance of her visit was to launch out from her hometown. She noted that her ambition is to make the state better than it is and to also serve as an indicator to women that they have more to offer the country. ‘’I appreciate you, our fathers, for giving us the opportunity to see you. I decided to start my governorship race from the soil I hail from because everything about me is Arigidi, Akoko. I grew up here, my family hails from here and it’s just important to start this great race from my source.’’ Oba Yisa Olanipekun while speaking acknowledged Funmi Ayinke’s antecedents, x-raying her popularity, hard work and professionalism. He mentioned that she has exhibited the character of a trustworthy person since he has known her. He spoke highly of her and urged other monarchs to pray for her ambition. ‘’She is popular, hardworking and won many awards. She is also trustworthy. She has a good thought towards Akoko, she has her work and it’s not like she’s looking for anything. We are God’s representatives here and we know when we pray, it will be answered. There is nothing like having our own children in good places. I want you all to pray for the success of her ambition.’’Also speaking on behalf of others, a top monarch asserted that he believes in the ability of Funmi Ayinke to do better than other governors when she emerges. He applauded her for taking the right step of coming to see the elders while congratulating the people of Arigidi, Akoko. He declared that with the support of the monarchs, Funmi Ayinke will emerge the next governor of Ondo state. ‘’Yorubas have underestimated women from time to time but now, times have changed and I believe you can do it better than men. I urge the monarchs to put it in mind, let’s tell our children that are into politics, we have to work for her.’’ After addressing her, the monarchs came together to give her royal blessings and lifted her hands, signifying an endorsement and send-forth as she began the race. Furthermore, Funmi Ayinke met elders of Arigidi-Akoko who prayed for her to become the next governor of Ondo state. After the meeting at the Palace, Funmi Ayinke met 100 widows and as usual, empowered them.

By Osho Oluwatosin In preparation for the Ondo gubernatorial election coming up sometime this year, the aspiration of Engr. Dr. Funmilayo Ayinke Waheed-Adekojo has become the talk of the town. Her intention to become the next governor of the state which many initially perceived as an uphill task has begun to gain the attention of power brokers in the state. There are several politicians who have also expressed their intentions to contest for the highly coveted number one position of the state but despite being a ‘green horn’ in vying elective positions, Funmi Ayinke seems to have a wider acceptance from the people and the ‘king makers’. Although Funmi Ayinke’s aspiration was not borne out of her personal will but the pressure she got from the good people of Ondo state, she appears to be the most prepared among other aspirants vying for the position. Just earlier this week, her campaign office opened in Akure, Ondo state in preparation for the vigorous campaign activities that will begin when she eventually emerges as the APC flagbearer for the election. Her campaign slogan, ‘Hope For All’ indicates the direction her administration, if elected, will be focused on. It simply implies that in a dispensation where the people of Ondo state are losing hope, she will be there to restore hope for them with her Midas touch. While the people are worried about what the future holds for them, Funmi Ayinke will impact Ondo state with her excellent administrative skill and allow the people to enjoy the dividend of democracy. As against the norm, she will also carry everyone along regardless of their political affiliations, religion, ethnic group, academic qualification, and every form of difference. ‘Hope For All’ is just a reinstatement of what Funmi Ayinke has been doing for decades. She has consistently poured herself, given her resources, inconvenienced herself, let go of valuable properties for the sake of humanity. Over the years, She has created more than 2,000 jobs for Ondo citizens through Funmi Ayinke Nigeria Limited, contributed immensely to the growth of the youth community through constant empowerment programmes, donations of funds, setting up businesses for women and widows, paid hospital bills, sorted accommodation issues for innumerable beneficiaries. For 20 years, Funmi Ayinke engaged in humanitarian services with her funds with the establishment of Funmi Ayinke Humanity Foundation (FAHF), and through the years, she was responsible for the school fee payments of over 5,000 students, education scholarships, sponsoring of interested students overseas to further their academics, to mention a few. On a daily basis, she gives hope to everyone she comes across therefore, becoming a governor will only mean that it will be done on a larger scale and platform. As her ambition gains attention across Ondo state, it’s not surprising considering the impact she has made even beyond Ondo state. During her birthday celebration that was held in Lagos, some traditional rulers from Ondo state left their palace to honour Funmi Ayinke in Lagos state, showing how known and loved she is even without any political position. As the day for the primary election gets closer, it is important to address the attention Funmi Ayinke’s ambition has garnered. All things being equal, Ondo state may set a record of having the first substantive female governor in Nigeria.

It seems Nigeria’s richest man, Aliko Dangote is about to get his name stained as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has decided to beam their light on Dangote group of companies. Just yesterday, operatives of the commission besieged the Lagos headquarters of Dangote group in search of FOREX documents. This sudden focus on Dangote is not unconnected to the relationship between former governor of the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele and Aliko Dangote. The relationship between the duo helped Dangote in building his multi-billion naira refinery which is set to begin operation. Dangote, when asked about how he got funds to build the phenomenal refinery, he spoke briefly about how the CBN loaned him money but said he was done paying what he borrowed. However, inside sources at the CBN have revealed that the relationship between the duo didn’t start with the refinery funds but long ago. It was revealed that they have been engaging in shady deals that even affected the economy of the country. It was also cited that Dangote has been engaging in foreign exchange fraud in the sense that he buys huge amount of dollars from Emefiele’s CBN at official rate and sells at the black market rate, which is always double of the amount he got it for. At the time, official rate was about N400 while black market rate was around N700-N800. If Dangote buys $1 Million at official rate with the help of Godwin Emefiele, he is sure to get double of it when he resells at black market rate hereby hurting the economy of Nigeria. From these unholy gains, He settles the CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele as an appreciation. If this is anything to go by, Aliko Dangote is about to face dark times in his career and it may involve getting arrested by the EFCC. https://thepropernewz..com/2024/01/why-efcc-may-arrest-nigerias-richest.html

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEUZasGAYT8 Popular veteran musician, Ibrahim Olawale known as Brymo has called out his colleague, Burna Boy for ‘claiming’ to be the ‘Jesus’ of Afrobeats in Nigeria. In an interview on TVC, Brymo described Burna Boy as a fake person and a thief whose songs are not original. He mentioned that Burna’s songs are all samples or stolen slogan and as such, doesn’t deserve to be who he think he is. Brymo further stated that Afrobeat is a music style while crediting Fela Anikulapo for creating a genre around the style. He stated that the new generation artistes are disrespecting the music style while also referring to Wizkid and Davido as thieves. ‘’That’s funny because I saw a video where he said he was jesus of Afrobeats. I think he is sleazy, cheap and a thief. He is very unoriginal and very fake. Every song is a sample or a stolen slogan. It is disrespectful that a new generation came and tried to create another centre of number 1s. Wizkid is the best, davido, burna boy…no , they all are thieves.’’

The Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, on Thursday, locks out staff of his ministry over their late resumption to office duties, a development that prompted protest from the workers. Protesting workers locked David Umahi inside his office over claims that he stopped engineers& directors from doing their work, by bringing consultants to run the affairs of the ministry. The protesting staff were chanting “Umahi Must Go”, and lamented that they reside far away and there was no way they could come to the office early. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDIOjzd_ROA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4mSUI_hS1k The Founder of Erisco Foods, Eric Umeofia has announced a N5 Billion lawsuit against a lady who criticized his brand on Arise TV. In an interview which he granted earlier today, Eric Umeofia was seen dramatically analyzing how the lady tried to kill his brand by criticizing his product. He made it known that before the incident, he had a lot of orders from China but has been affected because of the Lady’s critic. He stated that N5 Billion is even too small for him to collect from the lady for the offence. It would be recalled that On the 17th of September, 2023, Chioma Blessing Edoka, a Nigerian consumer, purchased a tin of Nagiko tomato mix and took to her Facebook page to share her concerns and express her opinion on the product. However, what followed was both surprising and concerning. Ericso Foods Limited, the manufacturer of Nagiko tomato paste, issued an official statement in response to Chioma's review. While responding to customer feedback is a standard business practice, the company's reaction took an unprecedented and extreme turn. Instead of addressing Chioma's concerns or seeking a constructive dialogue, they chose to escalate the situation by involving the Nigerian Police Force, who arrested Chioma on the 24th of September, 2023.

The former governor of Kano state and current national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje has received defectors from NNPP. He received them at his Abuja office dramatically by removing their red cap symbol and replacing them with the ones that carry Tinubu’s cap symbol. This was captured in a video that surfaced online. It is worthy of note that Ganduje has been at loggerheads with the NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwakwanso for some time. He was quoted saying he will slap him if he had met him in Abuja some months ago. Also, the red cap is a signature of the Kwakwansiyya movement spearheaded by Rabiu Kwakwanso.
