Is there anyone who still think that President Buhari is not a politician?

President Buhari has great respect for everyone, well, not for kleptomaniacs with leperous fingers for stealing public funds.

That Baba has respect for APC party leaders is not in doubt. This does not mean that they will not disagree from time to time as even blood families sometimes disagree.

In these perceived disagreements, he would always be the one seen to be standing for the interest of ordinary Nigerians thereby showing that he truly understand the meaning of politics and can play world class politics. This he has exhibited by burying godfatherism in Edo and Ondo states.

Anyone else who dares to take the credit for APC's success in Ondo State must also take the credit for the success recorded in Edo state. In a clean political environment, what wins elections is not power and might but brain power based tactics.

He has achieved this by just being the honest leader that he is and assembling the best hands to work with him. Not by meddling and having no regards for the rule of law.

Lawlessness was the same thing we all condemned and still condemn about the PDP but which some of us want President Buhari to emulate. God forbid!

What PDP's era taught us was not politics. It was thuggery, hooliganism and touting.

President Buhari will not condescend into arm-twisting, thuggery, unlawful manipulations and lawlessness in order to be seen to be playing politics, crude politics.

Pres. Buhari is teaching us politics with a human face. Politics is about serving people and respect for the people we are elected or appointed to serve.

Politics is not the overbearing thuggery, intimidation and bullying we make it out to be.

Politics is not where Godfathers decide who runs for political offices and who wins.

Pres. Buhari has given power back to the citizens of the Nigerian nation. Our nation is on the mend. Anyone can now run for an elective office and the person chosen by the majority of the people, will be victorious.

We will recover the other states in the most delightful and surprising way. Good job #TeamBuhari. You know yourselves. Many thanks.

Update on Sadiq Sani Mahuta

Sadiq Sani, the young boy from Mahuta, Kebbi state with a neck growth has had it successfully removed by a surgical team in Usman Dan Fodio University Teaching Hospital Sokoto. The growth was diagnosed as Aggressive Fibromatosis of the neck, a malignant soft tissue tumour at the Federal Medical Centre Birnin Kebbi before referral to UDUTH.

It was a 3hour long surgery with good recovery and he was discharged on the 17th of November 2016. However this is not the end of Sadiq's treatment as the growth is malignant and can easily recur. Thus he is expected to return in 3weeks for further treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The team of Doctors tasked with his care gave a moderate prognosis and are satisfied with the outcome of their intervention for now.

Her Excellency, the wife of the executive Governor of Kebbi state Dr Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu, Founder of Medicaid Cancer Foundation expresses her gratitude to the team for a job well done. The success of the surgery is an indication of the skills and capacity of Nigerian doctors and should serve as a confidence booster to all. She says there is room for an improved health system in Nigeria especially at the primary health care level so that patients like Sadiq are caught earlier. She further notes that no radiotherapy machine is currently working in the country including that of UDUTH. Dr Bagudu has been assured by the CMD of National Hospital Abuja Dr Momah that installation of two new machines is almost complete and are expected to be used from December 17th. It is hoped that Sadiq will be one of the first beneficiaries of the new machine.

A round of radiotherapy costs N60, 000; whilst his chemotherapy for 3 months will cost N900,000. The road to a complete cure is still tortuous and costly. So far, Sadiq's medical bill has been covered by the Medicaid Cancer Foundation which has promised to continue to support and work with relevant health institutions in the country to improve the quality of care and of life cancer patients.

A Kenyan man held a spectacular proposal at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport that has left tongues wagging.

Antony Buluma Samba proposed to his fiance Gettie Nthiiri at the arrival gates as she jetted in.

The proposal was well orchestrated with a group which included family, friends and colleagues flashed sign cards with the proposal question. The signs spelt out “Gettie will you marry me?”.

As Gettie an employee of Parliament of Kenya walked through the arrival halls, she found Buluma on bended knee where he then popped the question. After Gettie accepted, the crowd cheered and a band which was also part of the proposal party belted colorful tunes.


Unbeknownst to Gettie, Mr Bulama – an alumnus of the United States International University –, had actually arrived at the airport Monday evening to prepare for the big moment.

Prior to proposing, Mr Bulama patiently held a large bunch of flowers, while he waited for his partner to arrive. Spotting his other half approaching, a smile erupted on his face and he went down on his left knee, popped the question as a band equipped with a musical keyboard and a guitar serenaded her.

Heartwarming photos showed Gettie running toward her boyfriend and throwing herself into his arms.

As Gettie said ‘yes’, the assembled crowds cheered and a clatter of smartphone shutter sounds followed like a round applause.

“This is God’s doing. I give Him the glory. He is worthy to be praised. Thank you all who took part in making this real. To Gettie Nthiiri you are my choice. I found you and discovered a beautiful thing. You are my love; may God be our guide,” Mr Bulama said after Gettie accepted his proposal.

Air force officials in Ilorin took laws into their hands and brutally attacked innocent workers who were working on a building site claiming the land belongs to them.The incident occurred yesterday 17th November at New Tipper Junction, Alagbado, Eiyenkorin, Ilorin in Kwara State.

'Airforce officials in ILORIN took laws into their hands and brutally attacked innocent workers on building sites today -17th November 2016 claiming the land belongs to them. 

The incident occurred at New tipper junction, Alagbado, eiyenkorin, Ilorin, kwara state. According to a reliable source, there was no prior warning for these workers/site owners to evacuate the site. The officials caught them unaware, attacked thhem and even threatened to kill them.

It should be noted that the said land had been sold to a civilian who innocently employed these workers to build on the property.

The angry and molested victims are now calling on the senator Bukola Saraki, who is representing Ilorin and is equally the Senate President, and the governor of the state, Abdulfatah Ahmed to please attend to this and see that these officials are brought to order and justice.

Filmmaker Uduak Isong Oguamanam, younger sister of Emem Isong, took to her Facebook to write a glowing tribute to the University of Calabar graduate, whom she described as a friend, partner and colleague.She wrote...

My uncle got to his daughter's school for pick up after the end of school day in the evening! @7:30pm cos there's a special arrangement for pupils staying after school hours.. He met his daughter bleeding on the head and he asked whoever was in charge some questions and the only reply they gave was it's not their fault that it happened in the afternoon without placing a call to her parents neither did they give her a first aid treatment That's been unfair to a 24 months old baby girl... He reported the case to the police station and the school management was summoned and with all said and done, they pleaded with no sign of being remorseful and the child resumed after being treated and all only for the parents to get a dismissal letter from the school that the child has been dismissed after all.. Thanks'
