Just my earlier statement, when both brands present some of their products within the same price bracket, Xiaomi offers better specs sha, we already used some examples to confirm that,and since you took the discussion to both companies sales 'currently', Xiaomi is doing better from the data gathered.

Huawei is good no doubt, Xiaomi good too.

As you see me so ehn, na OnePlus I like pass sef but that's doesn't stop me from acknowledging other dope brands too.

Ok, Xiaomi is better at mid-range phones, but Huawei knocts it out of the pack when it comes to flagship phones.
Both are good phones that I will recommend people to buy over trassion.

I am not a Huawei fanboy, only a lover of good phones. I have used a Huawei phone with no issue whatsoever till it was stolen, and am currently using Redmi Note 8 with small issues. In the long run, both are good phones that I will recommend anyone to buy. But right now, there is no comparison considering the US government ban of Huawei products.
When or if the ban is lifted, then we can argue which is better.

That article highlighted gave a timeframe from 2019 to the first quarter of 2020 with emphasis that Xiaomi only made significant increase, whereas Huawei and Samsung had some decline, remember Samsung is there too.

Which brand loyalty? I am currently using Xiaomi Note 8 and I will tell anybody that performance wise, the Huawei Y9PRIME that was stolen from me is way better.

This is dated June this year, so we can both agree this current.


Huawei is a good product no doubt but when some of their products within some price brackets are compared to some brands priced at the same bracket their specs are less, making the price tag not really value for money spent at the end,this has been the discussion from the onset and we've compared both the Y9PRIME and y9s with Xiaomi's note 8pro and note 9s priced within the same bracket and see for ourselves that note 8pro and note 9s offers better specs to the Huawei counterparts. You can't give me a comparison of how they are faring in the market now, or have you forgotten that Huawei phones are blacklisted from using Google service and other stuff. You will do well to compare their sales before the he ban, then you will know that Huawei murders Xiaomi.

Still the note 8 pro outshines the y9s in chipset, performance, camera (its able to shoot in 4k which the y9s can't), if you gonna game the note 8pro still outshines the y9s, compare their price too, refer to the other link I sent to see the chipset rankings and spot where the kirin710f is below the Mtk g90t, it's no contest. No need trying to make comparison with the note 9s at this point that will be fatality in MK4.

if you have 6 Tyres on car spotting a 4plugs engine does that guarantee you to outperform a v8 engine with 4 Tyres? No way, V8 already in a class of its own, bring that to the two Xiaomi phones I highlighted their chipset is superior to that of the Y9PRIME and Y9s from the get go.

funny thing they are within the same price bracket, it's only reasonable one will go the Xiaomi seeing the specs it's spots.

That's why I said earlier that in some cases when you place both brands spotting their products that are within the same price bracket the Xiaomi offers better specs within that price bracket, same like other brands like realme too tho.

But all in all, I enjoyed the two phones over trassion phones, and am still going to use them at the same time in the long run.

I understand your point, but you failed to realise that Note 8 pro is a 6gb Ram phone compared to the Y9PRIME. So it's normal if it's better than the Y9PRIME. But the Y9s that has 6gb Ram is superior to the Note 8 pro. And right now the Note 8 pro is more expensive than the Y9S.

I have to disagree with you. The Y9PRIME has a better chipset than the Note 8. My Redmi Note 8 lags alot, but my Y9PRIME never lags. Moreover, the Y9PRIME multitask better than the Note 8 am using. If I open two apps, it runs smoothly, but when I open a third one, the apps restarts. And this never happened on the Y9PRIME, as I can be running up to six apps simultaneously.
It's no comparison actually.
I don't know about the Note 8 pro, so I can't say anything on that.

Huawei phones are generally more expensive than Xiaomi phones, why is that? Because their phones are better.
I have used a Huawei Y9prime 2019. It's 4gb Ram and 128gb ROM, and now We am using Xiaomi Note 8 also 4gb Ram and 128 ROM. But I tell you the Y9PRIME is better by far, and also more expensive.
