I've enough experience to last me forever and a day.

Yes. But you are aware of the guy before you started dating him. The only reason you're snooping is cause you don't trust him. If you find nothing the trust won't just suddenly develop. It's so much more effective if you just told the guy you're uncomfortable and why. And if he loved you enough he'd change .
Trust is earned and not written on the fore head. How can I know what to communicate about if on the outside the guy seems to be a saint? You don live in his head/ heart to know what he really is about?

I am married.

In the beginning and of our courtship, I used to snoop through his phones, just to get an idea of who he was. I had no reason not to trust him. Even after he travelled out of the country for almost two years, I knew who he was, so I was very secure.

Now, a few years into marriage, I was snooping one day and came across a Skype chat with some corper girl in his office which I believed was inappropriate and I told him about it. He laughed it off that it was nothing and was just joking with the girl but I told him it wasn't right and such jokes were not funny.

Another time he was joking with some colleagues where they were discussing some inappropriate stuff and I let him know that I wasn't comfy with such jokes.

Since then I haven't seen any inappropriate chats to any female or with any of his colleagues.

I still go through his devices once a while as I have his password and vise versa, he knows I snoop, I dont hide it.

He has never given me a reason not to trust him but even then, I will still check, if only to help maintain him.

I wouldn't be dating a liar in the first place.

Yes! It's insecurity! I don't mean like insecure about yourself or not confident in yourself. But that's 100% insecurity in the relationship.

Ehm no. Does it mean I should put a password on my phone when I leave my house and when my partner is around I should remove it ? Not everyone has ulterior motives. My partner can use my phone to do whatever he pleases, what I don't like is that he's going through my phone expecting to find something negative about me.
you have refused to get it, I am not saying one should be paranoid, just quite aware of who one is with.

This is a win win situation...you don't find anything, Great you have a good partner and if you find some incriminating things then you will save your self a whole lot of heartbreak and whatnot.

You might not agree with it fine, I guess experience will be your best teacher.

Very nice attempt, smiley

The guy who sang did quite well..... The rapper needs to tighten his lyrics, not bad but needs more originality.

The instrumentals could have been better. All in all, a very good one but not awesome yet.

Keep it up and I might hook you up with my sister. tongue

There's actually no need. Why would you be insecure in your relationship ? Communication is key.
there's no point in communication, if your partner is a liar or not ready to communicate. It's
It's also not insecurity, its just to make sure. It evens helps you understand the type of person you are with from the type of chats he/she has with friends.

Someone who has nothing to hide will not password or hide his/her phone from his/her partner. Whoever does that certainly doesn't want the partner to find out something he/she is hiding. Simple.

Go and tell that to Benny madoff in jail for 150 years.
I'm sure if he is in nigeria, he would have been given an office in the prison to spend his 150yrs jail time.

Nigerians just love to excuse their looters.
And with this mindset, this country can never change, because the elite will never fear the justice system and the jail.
They know an office is waiting for them there!
Nonsense!
is Madoff in kuje prison? Even Madoff was sent to a laid back minimum security prison, you want to compare that to kuje prisons?

You talk as if you don't know in developed countries white collar convicts are treated less severely than the hardened criminals.

Think please! angry

Business › Re: CBN Halts Branch Operations By Bureaux De Change #Emefieleconomics by repogirl(f): 10:31am On Dec 15, 2015
tiar:
Quick, simple and to the point.

1. The CBN is NOT meeting ALL legitimate requests for forex as it states it would into perpetuity.

2. This is forcing legitimate and illegitimate requests to meet their needs elsewhere, which has increased demand from BDCs in excess of their CBN allocation. The black market last resort meets the leftover rising demand at ever increasing prices to suppress demand and /or increase supply of dollars from those who may be hoarding it but hopefully can no longer resist the exchange rate.

3. The banks are also applying the black market rate for their customer dealings (sabotages the CBN's efforts) through foreign atm withdrawals and foreign currency online purchases. This increases the pressure to devalue , increases inflation and makes banks reluctant to meet legitimate requests from its retail customers. The desire to roundtrip and make 25% - 30% PROFIT by supplying their limited supply of dollars to the BDCs and black market instead of meeting direct customer demand is too alluring to resist. This is why only about 3 banks still meet request for PERSONAL Travel Allowance. Banks are not interested in supplying dollars at the official rate locally when they already pay out dollars to foreign banks at the black market rate.

Crisis is looming fast and the CBN governor may not survive it. He is playing Russian Roulette with the Naira and the economy indirectly. He is serving two Masters, the banks where he came from surreptitiously and trying to save his job by hopefully pleasing someone who did not appoint him .

People can still not make foreign currency cash deposits into their bank accounts. It has not helped the currency while destabilising people and their businesses.

I will leave it at that for now.
guy, wish I could dash you ten thousand dollars for this on point analysis. You have said it all.
