My fellow nairalanders, I think I'm in a deep mess. Truly I'm old enough to settle down and my parents won't let me rest. Any wise person knows that if you don't have proof to back up an accusation, then don't bother accusing someone or else it could end up badly for you.

Well, she should be ready to accept going to jail or paying a hefty sum in that case.

The law was created so people don't act anyhow they like. Noone can break the law and go Scot free. The law is the law, although in Nigeria, if you have good connections, they can intercede for you.

In Kemi's case, she has maligned so many top people in Nigeria and many of them will be like, good riddance to her.

If she had strong proof of her allegations against the pastor, the case wouldn't even be going to trial. The case would have been closed before it began.

All she has is hear say, she based a defamatory story against a popular figure on hearsay, no concrete proof. This would be a good lesson to other bloggers who think they can publish rubbish and nothing will happen.

Some people think they are intelligent when they confuse us with big grammar.

First dates are usually social ones, and if both parties sense compatibility, they fix another date, or a romantic appointment which may set the tone for a romantic relationship. I don't have any stats to back this claim but I would say one out of five first dates dont lead to anything going by personal and friends' experiences.
