Family › Re: How Can One Recover Borrowed Money From An In-Law? by repogirl(f): 12:15am On Oct 31, 2016
That money is gone o, your dad should put mind off it. This is why one should be careful when helping family...when you give money, it should be something you are prepared to give out without expecting returns cos of the relationships involved.

This your bro in law na bad market sha, hope he doesn't put your sis into more trouble. He is supposed to provide for his in-laws sef.... correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think any respectable man would go as far as borrowing money from his wife's old and retired father who is managing himself and his own family.
Romance › Re: What a Woman Really Wants from her man by repogirl(f): 11:48pm On Oct 30, 2016
Boyooosa:
I assume I share the same school of thought with u on this topic, can confirm through my initial post. Women's desire or wish depends on their partner's philosophy and competence. U got me there Repo!
ofcourse, a good woman loves a man they can depend on at anytime. Emotionally, physically, spiritually and even financially. It's great to be with a man who has himself put together....even if he isn't well put together yet, he gives off the vibe of someone who has a vision for himself and his future family.

Someone she trusts would have her back, that's the person any good woman would definitely submit a hundred percent to.
Romance › Re: What a Woman Really Wants from her man by repogirl(f): 11:33pm On Oct 30, 2016
OP, you are right, women do want to be free somewhat...to be able to live and express themselves freely but..... sometimes, what she wants might not be of benefit to her...so it is the man's duty to help her. Sometimes he has to put his foot down especially when something great is at stake.

Ofcourse, some women will find a way to still get it done without their husband's knowledge but if it backfires they will have noone but themselves to blame.

Yes, I am speaking from experience. grin

These days I just trust my husband's instincts because I know he has my best interests in mind. He is almost always right and he isn't a bit selfish, so why wouldn't I trust him?

Gosh, I married am awesome man.

Christianity Etc › Re: Flying In My Dreams by repogirl(f): 10:39am On Oct 30, 2016
Some people are more keyed in to the spiritual realm. They are called psychics and mediums. That's probably what you are. It's not a bad thing, because you have been gifted with a sort of spirit of prophecy. If you were more spiritual, you would understand it and know how to harness it.

It could also be a form of possession but one can only determine that if one had more information about your dreams.

Scientists will say your brain is overactive but cannot explain how you dream an event and it comes to pass very soon. They will call it coincidence just to satisfy themselves.

I once had a dream that I was closing the door to my house and the key broke. I woke up and went to lock my gate in real life and the key to the padlock broke....now how can one explain that? Coincidence? Lol!

I have had a few bad dreams and premonitions that have come to pass even when I pray against it, I guess they were just meant to be. Others don't come to pass though and I guess they were diverted because of prayers.

OP, you are afraid because you don't have the faith needed to counter these bad premonitions. I can only advise you to know more about God.

Culture › Re: No Burial In Benin Kingdom Till January 2017- Oba Of Benin by repogirl(f): 10:09pm On Oct 29, 2016
This is exactly what happens when you give a human being too much reverence. They actually begin feeling godlike.

I've never been a fan of any monarchy, all humans are equal as far as it's same blood that flows through our veins.

SAMBARRY:
lol.and who told you human rituals haven't increased. how do you think Yahoo boys do their thing grin

Do you know how many babalawos those guys patronize on a daily basis
Ofcourse there are those currently patronising them but however the rate human rituals are at the moment, If African Babalawos looked as good as this guy, almost no one would bother with education or work hard for their money.

Almost everyone would believe juju is the way to wealth. So it's a good thing our medicine men look poor and unappealing, that way most sane people think they have nothing to offer. Only some desperate and genuinely evil minded people patronise them.

LMao. This one na upgraded babalawo on fleek grin

Babalawo with body tatoos wey dey smoke grin

He's handsome though. And not as crude and barbaric as his counterparts in Africa that look so impoverished and haggard
Maybe it's a good thing African babalawos are impoverished. If they looked as dapper as this guy, the rate of human money rituals would definitely triple in number.

For him mind now, he has dressed to kill us dead! Lmao!

Looks more like mgbeke in Germany, too many patterns and colours clashing. Those jeans do nothing for the outfit. Straight cut jeans would have been preferable and a plain scarf.

Madness! In a sane society, those parents should be made to face the wrath of the law. It's a pity that our law enforcers are equally useless most of the time.

Won't advice you to marry anyone being controlled by his family, that one is a huge red flag. He is still young though, maybe that's why.

As for your ex, if it's not like he irritates you or you hate him, abeg marry am o..... if he truly indeed loves you, that's all you need abeg. It would have been great to know why you exed him in the first place cos he might be rich but if he has behavioural issues, then that's a problem.

Politics › Re: Jos Court Rejects Bail To Minors And Injured On Shia Ashura Procession by repogirl(f): 8:04am On Oct 27, 2016
Onyocha:
Doesn't the presence of kids indicate the procession or call it protest is meant to be peaceful? If the presence of kids doesn't give the procession immunity from being attack, then it means being a Shia Muslim or choosing one's beliefs freely is under threat or in danger. There is no guaranty that if those minors are kept at home or even under their beds, they will be safe once identified as children born to Shia parents. The freedom of people is at stake. You do not justify a wrong action by asking people to take precaution and hide their children. Tomorrow you may as well say Wahhabis or whoever do not like their faith and they should change. Is persecution justified? That is the ultimate demand as it appears, but is that right? Who is the next target?
Christians are next ofcourse.
