What efforts has Buhari made using his veto power to stop the joint account by states and local government since over seven years in office? That issue is what national conference aimed to restructure would have solved but he ignores it. He is also part of the cabals that benefits from the bad system that's why he is giving lip service without action to the ugly phenomenon |
Is a unique strategy because the aged soldiers have nothing to regret or fear as they have enjoyed the fullness of their life span, they will be fighting like suiciders.... But Putin should embrace peace and allow a sovereign nation (Ukraine) to determine their own fate |

It is about three weeks now the primary schools in Enugu state is on indefinite strike due to non-payment of minimum wage and allowances. There was a month warning strike in June. From our enquiry, secondary school staff and some departments and agencies in the state have been captured in the minimum wage upgrade leaving primary school staff. It is unfortunate that pupils are wasting at home, and have turned street hawkers. And at a time school system has suffered a terrible truncation due to covid-19 . Opinion leaders are so much worried about ASUU strike overlooking the primary education decay which is a time bomb awaiting. most of the opinion leaders have their children and wards in private schools just like politicians. For God's sake somebody should tell Governor.Ugwuanyi to act fast and pay the token owe primary school teachers in the state and implement their minimum wage. Primary Education is the backbone of every education. What project can a sitting government accomplish without fixing primary education and primary health system? This is political season, politicians are planning how to get into the office including incumbent, I madly imagine what they will tell the parents of this pupils sitting idle at home or would the politicians thwart their minds with money to vote against their wish? or is their any way apart from rigging that will enable nonperform government to clinch to power? Enugu state is in the hands of God but the mandate of the masses is in the hands of Governor who is legally the chief security of the state , and we have to remind him that the security of life of these pupils ( children) are in his hands. |

Resource control can solve all this problem, simple devolution of power, states can get resources to finance their institutions to a competitive standard.... |

ThatFairGuy1:Anyone with a sense of justice would be incensed by the wicked conspiracies and attack at the person of Peter Obi. You attack his tribe. You attack and defame his children. You seek to discredit his antecedents and attacked his pedigree. Yet in all of these, the persons whom you voted into power and pay earnings to govern you are globetrotting and acting indifferent to all woes that have befallen the country. Everything that is wrong with Nigeria today is Buhari. And Buhari happened twice, because Bola Ahmed Tinubu sold you a lie to "think Osinbajo, vote Buhari". The question you should ask yourselves is, why do you trust a man who has duped Lagos for 22years, who boastfully presents himself as Buhari's benefactor ![]() You said you voted Buhari in 2015 because "there was no alternative". In 2019, you reinforced failure by voting the APC again, because according to you "it was a choice of two evils". Today, instead of answering the bothering question of "WHY are you voting Tinubu/APC" you set out to confuse your reading public with campaign of calumny against Peter Obi. Turning yourselves into ethnic jingoist for a brutish megalomaniac. If Nigeria were to be your personal business, would you allow a frail, incoherent, pilferer manage it? Would you in all honesty hand your estates in trust to Tinubu? These are the questions you should pose to yourselves everyday, instead of attacking Obi. #PeterIsBetter You KNOW this. |
Passionate888:ManU is where cleanup is needed as Nigeria need Obi to clean up corruption and bad leadership

Osinbajo should not totally throw-away respect people have on his gentleness by joining kwankwaso who has enjoyed the corrupt system for long.... Likes of Osinbajo, sanusi, and other respected Nigerians should rally round Peter OBI to make a better Nigeria . Doing this will be a sacrifice to better the future of poor Nigerians OBI is tested and trusted Obi is not extravagant Obi will fix power supply Obi will end petroleum scarcity Obi will raise the value of naira Obi will build industries Obi will make Nigeria scientists to rival China and Europe Obi will help train Nigeria engineers to build roads, dams etc Obi will totally transform Nigeria by God's Grace . Go Get Your PVC and make sure Obi is elected against the wish of the oppressors who kept Nigeria like this since 1960 by: stealing public money Taking medical trips leaving local hospitals dilapidating Sending their children abroad for education and leaving our schools to becoming a club of cultists Many crimes unmentioned..... |

The US should prioritise funding for school security over aid to Ukraine, former President Donald Trump has said days after 19 Texas pupils were killed. If the US can send billions to Ukraine, "we should be able to do whatever it takes to keep our children safe at home", he said at a pro-gun conference. The meeting of the National Rifle Association (NRA), the largest US gun group, is taking place in Houston. It comes three days after a mass shooting by a teenager in Uvalde. "The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun," Donald Trump told the NRA convention in Houston on Friday night. It is a familiar phrase among pro-gun advocates who insist that more guns, not fewer, are needed to tackle armed violence in America. Mr Trump also repeated the same themes I'd heard from NRA members outside the hall - they say the focus should be on mental health issues that drive people to carry out mass shootings - not the weapons they use. After reading out the names of all 21 victims of the Uvalde school massacre, the former president said: "The existence of evil is one of the very best reasons to arm law-abiding citizens, not disarm them." He went on to accuse Democrats of politicking a tragedy by advocating greater gun control legislation. Several other politicians and performers pulled out of the event that was being held fewer than 300 miles from Uvalde. Mr Trump took a swipe at them too - saying: "And unlike some I didn't disappoint you by not showing up." |
