samwash:Trump is doing far worse The way Trump talks, making personal insults and spewing sheer hatred, you would think Trump was a primary school class captain than a former president of the most powerful and influential country on earth |
Throwback:Subsidy was actually even provided for for six months, that's till June of the 2023 budget. Then about NNPC, they were paying subsidy not that what they explained was something different from subsidy. NNPC was paying subsidy on behalf of government, then the cost was deducted from the royalties and taxes they were supposed to remit to government. Subidy is not just handing over money to someone. If you reduce the true value of your commodity (that is you buy it 100 naira) and sell it 50 naira for the consumers to enjoy some kind of benefits, you are paying subsidy on that commodity. That is what NNPC was doing and still doing. As long as the Nigerian government is not getting those accruals cause of the tax deductions and royalties which by extension is public money, government is paying subsidy for Nigerians |
Hezbollah entire leadership sent packing in one week. Even Hamas did not do this poorly. Hezbollah is just noise. I wonder how Madridguy would be feeling now |
MrPOTUS:They just employed that one after Madridguy and Manna was sacked. When dem carry fowl go new environment, na like that e dey scatter leg to find food |
Tinubu and achievements? It is better for the SGF to shut his mouth than join Tinubu's "regime" with achievements |
CyrusVI:Access bank has done it to me several times as well. I discovered even when I make transfer from my Wema to Access, Access will still deduct electronic nonsense while Wema would deduct theirs too Whenever I complain, they say it is for so so period without actually giving clear understanding of the period. While they sometimes cumulatively deduct, they still deduct arbitrarily as I have monitored this nonsense for one particular month carefully It is one too many so I have even given up on complaining |
Nigerian courts are gradually becoming one of the useless in the world |
I'm sure drinking is connected to it. That excessive speeding must definitely be drunkenness. Drinking ogogoro among those folks, even the women is on a high level. May they rest in peace |
Procashtips:No. Someone made a comment like it is a new event, and I responded that it is not the first time the US and others has used Russian spacecraft from the ISS. While NASA is designated as the manager of the ISS among its five operators, it is the Russian Soyuz that take them there/back and they even learn basic Russian language alongside English as the primary. |
Procashtips:I should give you example that US and others has used Russian spacecraft previously? |
OgaTheTop2 post=132134960:It is not new na. US and other stakeholders of the ISS has been using spacecraft since |
Habbeyy:By those who know and try to enlighten... I hope you're not referring to those who know election results are always manipulated in Nigeria. If you really believe you and others know how politics works based on the fundamentals of the phenomenon and applying it to Nigeria as your super knowledge of how politics works...and in the process trying to use same to disrespect other people. Then you are worse than the very people you are mocking for lack of knowledge. Elections are not won on social media. So in your assessment whoever that is winning in the field is purely because the electorate voted for them in that order. You only know the criminality of how individuals behave in abusing Nigerians during elections, and not the super wit of politics you are allocating to yourself |
Kobojunkie:I am aware. I was only speaking to that particular portion in the judgment |
Benbellamor:The court judgment is that the case is "statute barred" not whether the lawmakers are gone or not. It was determined to have been filed outside the allowed period and that there are already subsisting litigations on same case. The judgement did not touch on the status of the 26 as valid RSHA members or not so your question too is misplaced. Fubara is illiterate but a serving governor. You are smart...but who are you? |
Christ4ever:Not exactly the eyes. Though why most of the injuries are on hands and the face is because before the detonation, they sent error messages to the pagers, which ordinarily if you get a message on your phone, you would want to pick it up and look at it...so since the pagers are primarily for receiving instructions via messaging, when some got the beep beep, they looked and boom. Some people even got their preeeeks blown, most likely when it was in their pockets |
ruggedtimi:No, he did not say Hamas o that Israel is actively fighting. He said Hezbollah. If Hezbollah has killed 35,000 IDF that they are just exchanging gun fire across the border, not in the conventional war scenario, then Hamas that they are actively fighting must have killed 100,000 IDF. So if you add the IDF Hezbollah and Hamas has killed, tentatively it would be above a hundred thousand. So how many people kon remain for Israel I don't like insulting people but I doubt if the head of that guy that made that comment is correct. |
Mariangeles: ![]() I am not sure if you are serious. Mr Trump acts like a man child. He does far worse things. Do you follow him on socials? Just two days ago, Trump posted a cat holding a signboard with: "Kamala Hates Me" on his Instagram handle that he personally handle Trump is driven by hate so can do anything...hate is his motivation. Even remove the presidential consideration, a grown up adult man shouldn't be talking the way Trump does. Sometimes one is even constrained to think whether the man is trying to demarket himself with his own hands. |
tubolancer:Kindly read my comment again. "Many" and "Some" is in there. I'm surprised you missed that Trump is a darling of many Nigerians. To them he is a god sent to spread his word. |
Guestlander:Exactly what I said in the body. There's "most" and "some" in there |
sparko1:It is very appalling |
washmibili:Same Trump that posted again a picture of a cat holding a sign: "Kamala does not like me" on his personally handled Instagram account just two days ago? |
Trump the Nigerians darling. That man talks and behaves like a child and to imagine most Nigerians support him cause of God factor they believe he represents. No wonder we mostly make poor choices in governance here, easily swayed by stupid things, only go out and pick the loudest noise add our voices to it to make it louder as the truth...leaving no room for basic thinking. A former president and a candidate that is so publicly racist, divisive, uncouth and lie with every breath. Almost all the people close to him are publicly racist with no decorum. Imagine one recently saying the Whitehouse will start smelling like curry if the Indian Kamala is elected. Trump can practically call black people apes and some Nigerians will still applaud him that he doesn't pretend, he says things the way it is and he represents God so they like him. MAGA is just a rallying point for all the scums of the earth with nothing to do with making America great again. It is a tree of division, hatred etc that every bad person over there identify with and Trump is the root. |
thesolutions:Exactly Government did nothing to grow the export sector. The margin in favour of exports is because of devaluation and more Nigerians are poorer now with local businesses closing down. In the full report, they failed to mention in specifics what Nigeria is selling other than crude oil that they stated |
Dangote and FG trying to blame nameless marketers ahead to justify what they are cooking for Nigerians behind the scene Front the extended report, this Devakumar guy is saying, the reason why local marketers are not patronizing Dangote and even wrote a letter to FG to complain is because Dangote diesel is too cheap selling for N900-1000 and it is impacting their businesses. Who are the marketers that wrote to the FG. What exactly is their rational for complaining that Dangote selling diesel around N1000 is impacting their businesses so they want something higher. I know some people will believe this nonsense and start blaming Nigerians for being the problem of Nigeria. FG and Dangote need to stop deceiving themselves. Can't believe a whole country Nigeria discussed one man's refinery for many years and now doing so for prices of the products for many months now and counting. Is it that Nigerians cannot lead themselves... |

Exchange rate is the only reason people move to other countries? |
One Ghana cedi N108.02 is surreal The reforms Buhari made for 8 years and Tinubu has magically made for a year only moved Nigeria from being the number one economy in Africa to currently 4th place and our currency is not even worth the paper it is printed on. In the midst of all these, enemies of Nigeria masquerading as patriots still find a way to always say Nigeria is progressing under their pay masters and peddling phantom trade and development figures |
Vision101:Funny you could only cling to where dollar was mentioned. That comparison is just for illustration purpose and nothing more. It was just to emphasize that the surplus is not cause of any meaningful economic growth but because our national currency and every other thing has gotten bad. People getting poorer and businesses folding up, it is normal for export - import margin to widen in favour of export, not that government has performed some magic to grow the export sector I'm happy that you further unveiled one of the primary reasons for the surplus (devaluation) so thank you |
This one and posting senseless news Very unproductive element that attach himself to political crooks like a remora to survive is telling other people to compete globally or die. Trade surplus cho cho cho but the report only ended up highlighting crude oil as the largest contributor but failed to mention the other commodities. The import and export margin is not because Nigerians are now exporting more meaningful commodities superior to what they were doing just a year ago but because they are now poorer, preoccupied with survival than doing business. What is even the surplus value in international currency like dollars. Compare the dollar value of this phantom surplus with surplus from one year ago. The surplus is not cause of any meaningful economic growth but because our national currency and every other thing has gotten bad. People getting poorer and businesses folding up, it is normal for export - import margin to widen in favour of export, not that government has performed some magic to grow the export sector |
SmartPolician:I don tire for these people Nairaland has been reduced to a dump cause of them. Visitors here would think only Yoruba and Igbo we have in this country. One can hardly find any meaningful information here cause of them and their stupid fight for ethnic superiority |
Judolisco:No. Oyinyechi Mark already won gold in powerlifting event earlier. So it is 2 golds now |
shawnfamous:They are elusively referring to Mouth Gig and cunnilingus Yeye people. How can sexual act between a man and his wife still be immoral. They are not even consistent with their talks. I thought they said sex can only take place within the confines of marriage |
Congratulations to him But Ronaldo don't care if his team goes to relegation as long as he scores a goal, he is fine. Still remember Ronaldo refusing to celebrate with Chiesa and even fought him after the match cause Chiesa scored by himself instead of passing the ball to Ronaldo, a match Juventus actually won |
