Mtcheew. Most philosophers abi few malcontents like you. Plato that you are giving it to was one of his disciples, and he wrote alot about what we know of the great man Socrates.

Socrates always considered himself as someone who knew nothing, maybe that was why he didn't pen anything down.

Other great philosophers like Buddha, Confucious didn't write anything, their disciples wrote alot of things we know about them and their teachings.

Jesus Christ didn't write anything but all account we know about him were from his disciples. Should that now diminish his status?

A list without Socrates and Buddha(Gautama) is not a list of philosophical greats.
