Hello my sweet mamas. During my recent anc visit it was noticed that the amonic fluid level was low. I did a rescan today and doctor feels it is safer for me to be induced and bring out baby today. So right now I am reporting live from my hospital bed, 3 cm dilated and eagerly awaiting my dd arrival. Pls join me in prayers that I deliver as a Hebrew woman. Will update you as much as possible.

My birth story.

I was admitted 2 weeks ago for 5 days for malaria, thypiod and jaundice and was asked to come after 1 week for test. So last friday, i got there, i was told my Pcv was 23%, and my baby is weighing 1.85kg and i will be placed on admission again for blood transfusion. I told them i have a wedding to attend the next day, i was asked to sign that i refused blood transfusion, so i signed and left. ( i was actually thinking of the money we just spent on hospital bills)

After the wedding on saturday, came home, feeling headache and feverish. DH was not happy because he said i shouldnt go. Then i noticed if i try to stand, water will drop out from my Vjay. Then came on sunday, the same thing but with contraction every 8 mins. Then around 7pm, i called the doctor, he said i shuld come now for admission. So we left the house.
On getting there, i was checked, and was told my baby is breathing fast and im having temperature and its not a good sign. Then, i was placed on drip. (weda it was hot drip o, only God knows).

My hubby was sent home to get my baby things. Baby things that i havent packed or even bought complete. He sha went and rain was falling heavily, so he couldnt return that night again because all gates has been locked.

I stayed alone begging God and Jesus to come and rescue me, i prayed, held the burgalry, use breathing techniques, for where, no one worked. I called the nurse to remove the drip, went down stairs came up, infact i felt like dying.

Around 2.30am, when i couldnt bear the pains again, i ran to the doctor to give me pain releive, he said no pain relieve. I said, then you need to help me. He took me to the labour ward and checked me, and said u have been pushing naa, you must deliver the baby now because he is in distress. Hummm, delivery team, come ooo and the nurses came. I started shouting i want to poo poo, use the rest room, but wen the pains became unbearable, i started speaking pidgin english, i wan shit doctor abeg help me.
Then, i was advised to push anytime the poo came, i pushed more than 20 times for where. The nurse said i cant push oo and my cervix has not dilate, the doctor had to use his hands to open the cervix, i was then given glucose drip for energy. I stayed begging them to help me push me tummy, which they did and my baby boy jumped out around 3.20am weighing 2.8kg at 36wks and 2 days.

I was given 2 pints of blood.
Mamas, the sewing is another pains, i saw hell. Infact, im still in pains. But i thank God, i and my baby are alive.
