Instead it resorted to importing the same refined products, controlled the price to over N1000 before Dangote started refining. It also frustrated the products through the NMPDRA calling it toxic until lab tests were used to confirm it's level.

It's in the report, the Govt will hand over to those who will run them on behalf of the Govt, not an outright sale. Even if Govt would sell them off, nobody will buy a decrepit refineries without being repaired.

People will still buy as it is easier to buy an existing one and refurbish than build a new one that takes ten years

BUA is almost completing the 200,000 BPD crude oil refinery at Akwa Ibom. The real problem of the sector is the NNPCL and the Regulators who are in favour of imports. If the government had invested in NNPC and expanded it, there will be no talk of monopoly. The question we should be asking ourselves is why are we still importing fuel when we have a local refiner that has excess stock? Why has NNPCL not expanded since inception? What has the government done with $20bn spent on NNPCL in ten years, same amount Dangote invested in his own refinery? Why is the NNPCL the sole importer of fuel under PMB?

Last year I bought two rams for 300k each. I do not really like it, but I had to because of the overpriced goods during the Ileya festival.

But this year is very different. I remember my stepmother, who deals in selling goats, and I asked her if she could assist me in buying Ram this year, though my mom is against it, but I just don't know why my heart just picked her.

I ask her to send me a sample of RAM and the price. Unfortunately, she's in the north to buy her goods, so she sends different samples and prices, but because my mom is reluctant to let me deal with her, I send her 500k to buy me RAM, and I have it in mind to buy another one here if I am not comfortable with it.

Yesterday, she called me to say that she's around and I should come pick up my Rams. Lo and behold, this is what she bought for me at 500k.

They're even bigger than the one I bought for 300k last year. 3 Rams for 500k looks very unreal, but this is my reality.

I give one to my dad, my mom, and I pick one.

Lai lai. I tried recently to go to Abuja and ended at Owo and returned back to Lagos. The roads are not user friendly. The rains from heaven came down and the visibility was zero. My night vision in the sports came up and I was surprised 😮

One good thing about the north is that it has good and smooth roads.

The earlier models was a 6 speed type for which you can transmit to 6 at 145miles per hour and the 8 speed type on the newer models, I tried it on Kano Zaria road and I quickly realised that I am still young and my next new wife is still in her father's house, so I respected my self 😀 😄 😉
