Any one coming from ilorin like me? And how much is the t.fare from onisha to obubua.

Normal the fare is 1,300 but since they know its camp season it should be between 1500-1800

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Monday ruled that the status quo in the House of Representatives should be maintained.
The ruling means that the embattled House of Representatives Speaker, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, would remain Speaker until the House reconvenes on December 3.
The court also ruled that the Speaker could not be removed and and that the House could not reconvene until the said December 3 date.
The court will resume hearing on the substantive case on Friday.

- FROM ONITSHA:~ Enter Onitsha south mass transit@upper Iweka after Toronto hospital, ask for IKOM/OBUBRA motor.

- Thereafter, you Bike to the NYSC orientation camp: not every one like Bike.
- When you get to Obubra junction cross to your left you will find filling station, there you may take cab or bike depends on you,

...u can only get a straight bus goin to obubra from lagos at ojuelagba via aKtc bus,dey always go to obubra straight in d first day of orientation camp but its advisable to go dere a day earlier to book ur ticket...
OTHERWISE ;wake up very early, enter onitsha bus and make it to onitsha before 3~4pm, then enter obubra straight or ugep.. if u cant get obubra from ugep ; may be its late, there are many corpers family houses in ugep!.... NCCF for all christian, NACOSS for catholic and MCAN for muslim... bike men in ugep know all these family houses.. so the following morning u will take motor going to obubra, its just 1hour journey.. but if u can get obubra straight from onitsha... u ve no problem.. u will see bike men in obubra goin to camp anytime.. its not advisable to go to calabar from lagos, its far and more costly, and u cant make it to obubra on that same day.. cos obubra to calabar is 4hours journey

** from jos, pass to makurdi to ogoja then to obubra .. or direct motor from jos to ogoja then to obubra, or direct motor going to calabar from jos , thats goin to pass through makurdi ~ ogoja route.... tel d driver you want to drop@obubra , then u ll not av to get to calabar cos calabar is 3~4hours ahead of obubra via this route

Coach Stephen Keshi has returned as Super Eagles coach after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Technical Committee accepted the plea for his reconsideration, made by Coach Shaibu Amodu on Monday.
Amodu was announced to take over the senior squad in the early hours of October 16, after the team’s 3-1 victory over Sudan in Abuja only took it to third place in the Group A table of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
In a letter dated 27 October, 2014 and addressed to NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, through the Chairman of NFF Technical Committee, the former Super Eagles coach pleaded that Keshi should be recalled for the two matches as the time-frame was too short to put together a new team for the mission
“As Technical Director of the NFF, I am ready and willing to help build a better relationship among Keshi (with whom I have enjoyed good working relationship in the past and who is still very close to me), the players and the NFF Technical Committee,” Amodu wrote.
Speaking on Friday morning, Chairman of the NFF Technical Committee, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, said his committee had accepted the plea and forwarded same to the NFF President.
“We have deliberated on Coach Amodu’s letter, and after speaking to my committee members, we decided to accept it and informed the NFF President of our approval.”
On his part, NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, simply said on Friday that he had no objection to the proposal.
“I have never had anything against Keshi as a person. Amodu is someone we all respect and since that is his opinion and the Technical Committee has approved, so be it.
“I have always said that the work of the committees will not be interfered with. We will give the committees the independence to do their work for optimum results. I am also assuring Nigerians at home and abroad that the NFF will give Keshi all the necessary support to successfully prosecute the two very crucial final matches of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series.”

Cross Country takes pple direct frm der head office in yaba to obubra at d rate of 8k including a meal

Hope u have started packing ur luggage, the journey before is very tedious especially for those coming from west.
Cross river is a unique state and very peaceful.
The state pays paltry 3k,some private firms pays 5k,10k,20k depending on your PPA.
They are 18 local council in cross river which are :akamkpa.odukpani,calabar municipal,calabar south,bakassi,akpabuyo,biase,yakurr,ikom,ogoja,abi,boki east and west, obudu,obaliku,etung,bekwarara,obubra.
Journey mercy is my prayer for you all.

Please save yourself the stress of going to Calabar. Go to Onitsha and board a bus going to Ikom, stop at Obubra Camp junction.

Note : if you are coming from the western part of Nigeria, dnt board a direct bus going to calabar unless u are coming with a flight. From lagos,osun,ogun,oyo,ekiti,and ondo board a bus going to onithsha drop at the last bus stop den from onistha board a bus with a transport company called onithsha south i mean ONITHSHA SOUTH, tell them you are going to obubra.

To all those that will be posted to cross river or to those that have been posted to cross river, i congratulate you all.
Welcome to obubra,the land of red sand and oiling water.
Obubra is the local government,that is housing the permanent site of NYSC orientation camp, and it is one of the popular local government in the state, due to the orientation camp. Farming is their major occupation.
The closest local government to obubra is yakurr and the closest town is ugep.
Note: calabar is not close to obubra, dnt make the mistake of going through calabar.
From west - onithsha- board a bus called onithsha south company- to obubra- from dere u will pick a bike. Or from onithsha board a bus called onithsha south and drop at ugep then you can take a bus or cab to obubra.

President Goodluck Jonathan has denied that he travelled to ChadMondaywith a former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff.
The president, in a statement today by his spokesman, Reuben Abati, also denied that Sheriff participated in a security meeting with him and Chadian President Idriss Deby.
Meanwhile, the presidential spokesman hadMondayevening posted a picture on his twitter handle showing Sheriff seated in a meeting with Jonathan and Deby.
Australian negotiator Stephen Davis had recently alleged that Sheriff and a former Army Chief Azubuike Ihejirika were sponsors of the Boko Haram sect.
The president had come under attacks for travelling to Chad with Sheriff for the security meeting aimed at forging a stronger alliance against terrorism and violent extremism.
But Abati claimed today that Sheriff was not on Jonathan's entourage to Ndjamena, saying the former governor happened to be there at the time of the president’s visit and joined other Nigerian residents of the Chadian capital in coming to the airport to welcome Jonathan.
The presidential spokesman specifically slammed the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other critics for accusing Jonathan of hobnobbing with the alleged financier of the Boko Haram sect.
Abati, who said Sheriff’s presence in Chad was not at Jonathan’s instance, also insisted that the former governor did not participate in any of the president’s discussions with President Idriss Deby or his (Jonathan's) other engagements in Ndjamena.
