Education / Re: ASUU Leaders Chase Kogi Governor Away From Hospital by rhodaojieh(f): 10:46am On Nov 14, 2013
This is very tragic, and the action taken by ASSU is a very good one.what on earth will make the governor of a state to be less concerned about such issue.well like the saying goes death is innevitable,we will all die someday.May the soul of pprof Iyayi rest in peace.I also feel for the welfare officer Dr Ngozi Iloh who was my lecturer at the university of benin, department of foriegn languages precisely.(my project supervisor),May the good Lord grant her quick recovery.

Goodday Fellow Naija people,i am new on this forum, and i also posted my story but did not get your views.,I earlier stated that i hard applied for Uk Tourist Visa, and hard been refused twice. The 1st application was made in March 2013 for 14 days, with all relevant documents, and the reason given for the refusal was that; i hard large sum which i failed to explain, and do not have family ties or dependant relative as to what will bring me back to my country. The large sum refered to was my annual bonus which was paid in January 2013,of about 500,and my salary of 83,000 for that month inclusive. My annual take home is 1.997000.I hard a sponsor who paid in 500 thousand to support my trip, with all necessary documents and a letter of support to back it up.I printed a bank statement of about 1.4million for submission.I appealed the refusal through a lawyer and i was asked to re-apply.
I made the 2nd application in September but was without a sponsor, and this time the reason given was my family ties, travel history, and the contribution am into with my colleague and also collected before i made the application was also an issue.i asked my colleagues involved in the contribution to pay into my account individually going by my lawyers instruction, who also stated that contribution scheme is recognised by the embassey.after everything it still boiled down to the same refusal. At this point am devastated, and really need your candide opinion on what next to do,and does this also have to do with the fact that i am single.Goodday Fellow Naija people,i am new on this forum, and i also posted my story but did not get your views.,I earlier stated that i hard applied for Uk Tourist Visa, and hard been refused twice.

Travel / Visa Refusal by rhodaojieh(f): 5:32pm On Nov 01, 2013
My fellow Naija people,i really need your help, and i joined this site as a matter of interest.Have read several articles on response to peoples travel issues and i find it very interesting.I applied for a tourist Visa for 14 days, and i also printed out my hotel reservation since i claimed i had nobody in the uk.I was denied UK VISA for the first time, reason being that i had large deposit in my statement of account, and no explanation to that effect, and do not also have family tie as to what will bring me back to my country. The large deposit refered to, is part of my yearly bonus which reflected in my statement of account. I applied with a salary account.the extra money paid into my account was by my sponsor(500,000naira) and a backup letter with his bank statement was also submitted along with the application.as at when i printed the statement, i had about 1.4million naira. My Monthly income after the deduction of tax and other deductions is 83,000naira annual income of(1.997,000).I also submitted all my work details. Nothing was mentioned about my sponsor and the supporting letter he wrote but rathe my account was analysed.
After the refusal i appealed it but was asked to re apply.I waited for about 5 months and re applied without sponsor, and this time, for 10 days.the very month i was to apply it was my turn to collect the monthly contribution we are doing in my office,of 400,000naira.This was paid into my accounnt by my colleagues involved in the contribution individually. and at the end of the day i was also denied, despite that the individual payment refelected in my statement of account, and every money i had in my account was well explained by a Lawyer in the additional document. This time they came up with reasons like my travel history, family status, the contribution scheme was also an issue.well i really want to know what next to do because i was refused in September.how do i satisfy them.and dont single people travel?Am really worried.
