A Zambian man has fled after mourners discovered that he faked his son’s death in Lusaka. 30-year-old Kafeero aka Ivan K, had announced the death of his son, Junior, and as is the norm, residents gathered at his home to mourn his passing, which was followed by a vigil. .

A Lance Corporal identified as Abdullahi, was, on Tuesday, shot dead while attempting to rescue a lady from her abductors in Plateau State.

It was gathered that the suspected kidnappers had stormed one Alhaji Idris Gambo’s house at Konnan Soja area of Jos, in a red Gulf car.
The gunmen allegedly arrived around 7:50 pm and took away the 21 years old lady. They, however, killed Abdullahi while he was trying to rescue the victim from them.

Silver Apeh aka DJ Silver is dead. The married father of one, died, yesterday, during a friendly match with the inmates of a prison in Jos, Plateau State.
The Unity 93.3 FM guest DJ was said to have led his fellow DJs to the prison for the match and led them in prayers before kickoff.
However, Silver, who was the goalkeeper, slumped during the match and was rushed to Faith Alive hospital, where he gave up the ghost.

A man has been arrested by Lagos state police command for producing and distributing fake alcoholic drinks in the state.

Emmanuel Nwodu, 38, was arrested along Mosalashi market, Sango Agege, with two cartons of alcoholic drinks suspected to be adulterated.

The suspect confessed that he produces the drinks in his one-room shop at Mosalashi market, Agege.

During a search of his shop, the following items were recovered: Two 30 litres of chemical suspected to be ethanol, two cartons of Elders Aromatic Schnapps suspected to be fake, 51 small bottles of Chelsea dry gin suspected to be fake, 35 pieces of Chelsea cork, 5 labels of Lords, Chelsea and Elders alcoholic drinks. .

The suspect was charged to court yesterday, 3/10/2018.
